Established in 1960, Molly�s Pub and Restaurant Shebeen has been a bar, a grocery store, a halfway house and then a bar again. The bar is Honduran mahogany and, along with the wood burning fireplace, is original to the building. Named a �shebeen�, the term for an illegal drinking establishment, Molly�s Pub and Restaurant takes pride in the connection to prohibition era and the long history of the building offered to guests. Considered the most authentic bar in New York City, Molly�s Pub and Restaurant serves a mix of American and Irish fare. Try the classic corned beef on rye, Irish lamb stew or shepherd�s pie to feel like you�ve jumped the pond to the Emerald Isle or stay closer to home with Cajun spiced fried chicken, sausage and mashed potatoes or chicken pot pie.

The French Onion Soup was filled with lots of onions and lots of cheese. The mixed vegetables and salmon were cooked just right.

We met our niece & husband for Brunch. Great place to catch-up with family! Food was good & service was good as well. Fun place!
