“I wanted to do a place with good Italian comfort food. The simplicity of it, the freshness of it, the quality of ingredients that you get to work with.” They specialize in that quintessential Italian comfort food – pizza. “I think it’s great that the city of Boston is turning around and starting to become known for pizza like the other big cities in the country,” he said. “It is such a simple food but it all comes down to the quality of ingredients.” It’s all done out of an open kitchen where the star of the show is Molinari’s wood burning oven.

    We tried Molinari’s back during COVID for take out and were impressed. Oddly they fell off our radar and never returned to dine in the restaurant. We were so pleased last night. The menu is huge and we sat at the bar watching the chefs produce dish after dish of outstanding Italian cuisine with ease. Patrick our server was personable and engaged. The other servers were right there as well to clear plates and place clean silverware. Unfortunately we did not try the pizza which looked amazing. Can’t wait to return and dig into the menu some more.

    Great authentic food and in a nice, if bustling environment. Homemade pasta and pizzas were excellent. Service was very attentive and atmosphere had a very local feel to it.

    We took my parents who don’t like anything. My mom loved her salmon and dad loved the shrimp scampi pizza. Molinaris is a favorite of ours any day, the fact that my mom said when can we come back as they were delivering the check…
