Great service and great food! Will be going again.
Great authentic Indian food right in the neighborhood. Out 5th or 6th time there. Love it.
we appreciate this wonderful bistro and continue to patronize it and bring friends to introduce to its delights because of its contemporary and creative cuisine, culinary consistency and lovely preparations, warmly welcoming maitre d’ gilberto and staff, and classy ambiance. bravo!
The food and Service is excellent I definitely recommend it.
We were particular impressed because this restaurant offers dishes from different regions of India. India has an incredibly variety of different cuisines and unique dishes that are specific to the different parts of the country. It is refreshing that FINALLY someone is taking advantage of that to showcase the splendid variety of India's culinary delights.
Congratulations to the owner and the chef. Excellent food, great service, nice selection of wines. We wish them great success!!
The food was very different from other Indian restaurants.
Excellent modern Indian food with both small and large plates. The scallops were lovely, the shrimp terrific and the lassoni, presented in a spicy stew, was equally good. Relatively reasonably priced too.
What a wonderful place, the staff is professional, friendly and carry the peaceful grace of the culture of most parts of India. If you are in a hurry you need to understand every dish is made when the order is placed. This is restaurant to enjoy the experience. It is so nice to finally have an authentic Indian restaurant that has true Indian food and true Indian hospitality here in Fort Lauderdale.
This was our second dinner at Moksha and it did not disappoint! All four diners loved the shared appetizers of Bayview flatbread and samosas and entrees, including eggplant, chicken tika, butter chicken, and lamb. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend! Will definitely return!
Without question the best Indian food in south Florida. the staff is friendly and attentive.
there is nothing i can say bad or even questionable about this restaurant.
The first 2 times I went here, it was the best Indian food I’ve ever had, but lately the food and service has been slipping. I ordered the special lamb shank and while the meat was slow cooked, the sauce had no flavor at all. I ordered it medium spicy and it came out with no spice! I asked the server for something to make it spicier and the sauce he brought out was less hot than Tabasco sauce. I asked for a different sauce (which I’ve gotten in the past) and the sever kept forgetting and never brought it. As far as service, we keep getting seated in the bar area, even with a reservation, where the bar tender has more patrons than he can handle and other servers are just walking around with nothing to do. It was a very slow service and I was disappointed other staff members didn’t offer to help us out while we waiting to box up our food and for the check. We definitely didn’t get good service.
It’s not fair for me to write this review because I have been to India 15 times in. U life time and have just returned 2 weeks ago. The food here per Indian Cuisine in this country is very good, fresh and ample.
It’s a bit pricey so be prepared.... My main grip...water $8 per bottle ..... as example when filtered water should be offered first ...
The staff cares, they are attentive , they have high standards and quality food and ingredients served.
It was interesting at best. I love indian food---but this isn't it. The server was attentive, but didnt know the menu at all. Overall it was just passable. I make better indian food at home----next time I'll stay in :)
Wonderful! Ask for Rose as your server. ❤️❤️❤️
Great service and food. We enjoyed the quality and value. We probably over ordered food for our first time. Should share dishes as they are big.
Exceptional. Finally, Indian cuisine in Fort Lauderdale.
We are visiting from NY, and had heard great reviews about Moksha, and let me tell you this place did not disappoint!! Being an American Indian and having traveled to India many times, Indian restaurants don’t really impress me, HOWEVER this place knocked my socks off that we actually made reservations for the following night just to try some other dishes!! Do yourself a favor and please go here you will not be disappointed, do try the scallops appetizer dish it was beyond anything I’ve had the combination of flavors was just... Our waiter Jai was kind, courteous, walked us through dishes he recommended and why. Asked us what we like to eat and made suggestions off that, helped pair the right wines as well :-) Was very accommodating with our kids, and the certain way they liked their food. The manager Gilbert came over and asked if everything was ok and if we were happy! Again, if your in Ft. Lauderdale or surrounding area this is a must dine!!
Excellent service and management. Classy environment. Absolutely incredible menu and quality in fresh ingredients. The vegan menu was impressive. This will be my go-to Indian place
The best Indian food we have had since London.
We travel often, however this new find is 1/4 mile from our new Condo!!
Must have..... Lobster Bisque followed with the Cauliflower Lassoni Gobi
Ridiculous. Clearly we will be regulars
Great food, owner was present and made his rounds to ensure everything was good. We will be back for sure.
I ate at Moksha's four times and each time the food was outstanding. However, The last time we were there the Kashmiri Chicken Curry was cold and had to be returned to the kitchen to be warmed up. All done with a smile ! Recommended the restaurant to my friends and they were very happy.
Amazing food. A dining experience. Service was outstanding. I can’t say enough about the food. GO!!!
We had just come from a trip to London and we’re semi-obsessed with Indian food as a result. We looked into Indian restaurants in ftl and moksha seemed like a chic Indian bistro type place so we thought we’d give it a try. From the moment we parked, the door was opened by a really friendly hostess and things went great from there. A friendly staff. A manager on site- which is always nice, and really pretty outstanding food. What surprised me most was the vibe, the food, and the staff felt like it would come at a higher price tag but when we got the bill it was all very reasonable -we had a couple glasses of wine and a couple entrées and maybe an appetizer I don’t think it was more than $70. Point being it was nice to actually get more for our money for a change. Another interesting thing was That the waitress brought over their breakfast menu and encourage us to come back. Most people probably don’t think of Indian restaurants for breakfast but I would definitely try it.
By FAR the best Indian Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The atmosphere and food is excellent and the personal attention that we recieved from the obvious manager/owner of the restuarant was great. I will go back when I am next in Ft. Lauderdale
Great food and great service. Very helpful waiting staff.
Awesome service and food. Will come back again.
Wow. This place is amazing. Service is good. Food is incredible. Can’t wait to try more dishes
This was our first time dining at Mokshu and we loved everything about it. All the food was delicious. We tried the scallop appetizer, the combination platter, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. I’d say it was the best Indian food I’ve had. The space is beautiful and the service impeccable.
Very nice dining room with professional and friendly service. They’ve tamed their Indian food down to suit the American market and in doing so have created a popular restaurant. The food was good but would probably seek out more authentic menu options next time.
Very good, delicate indian food. The plate that is a sampler of 5 items is fabulous, so are the small plates lamb chops....
We had a fairly new server, and the chef had to tell him what each plate was, and this was done table side, so that was a bit surprising.... but that chef worked hard....
And the head waiter or manager fine tuned one of the waiter’s error, which was to put a single cup on the table in front of with a spoon it it while I await my masala chai (DIVINE by the way). He gave me a saucer and placed the spoon appropriately, not « diner style »
Regardless of the service, the place was pretty full and all food looked divine.
We will absolutely go again.....
Food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was below par.
Too spicy even though we ordered it mild.
Food was superb but service was subpar. The manager was awesome and tried to help take care of us but was too busy. It took over 5 minutes to get water and we had to ask for our bill twice. It seemed like no one was actually assigned to our table other than the manager checking in a couple of times. Lastly, told open table we never showed even though we checked in.
Fabulous food. Excellent flavor profiles, dishes have depth and complexity. Beautiful presentation, portions generous and expanded menu ( not just the usual Indian fare). Best Indian good we have ever tasted. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Highly recommend
My friends & I went there for New Years Eve dinner.
The service was great even though they were extremely busy. The manager came by to ask how our food & service was and no complaints.
The food is outstanding!! We all sampled each other’s dish and came to the same conclusion; everything tasted great.
I will definitely be going back and anyone that loves Indian food, this is a must.
Authentic and delicious. Portions was great size. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes
Very nice selection and presentation.
4th time here and deteriorating quickly. Each time we visit portions get smaller with more sauce and less meat, etc. You have to spoon through the sauce for actual food content. Definitely a sign they are trying to reduce costs.
Then the waiting time to receive your food order. On last visit it was 90 mins. We inquired about the delay and the waiter kept saying 5 more mins. The we finally asked the manager and he said it's on it's way, it's the salmon that takes lots of time to prepare.
Then the wait for the check. Inquired three times and waited another 15 mins.
You will have to wait for water or drink refills, as the restaurant is tremendously understaffed.
Lastly, there's the manager. We mentioned our concerns and he gave more excuses with no apology. We mentioned we'd write a review and said ok, do it.
I'm disappointed and won't be back and advise others to stay away and avoid a disappointing dinner experience.
We had the BEST Indian Food and experience last evening at Moksha Brasserie. Gilberto the manager and the entire staff were so very lovely, welcoming and happy to please. The evening was terrific and the food exceptional. The service was slow so perhaps they had some staffing issues that night but we didn’t mind at all because we enjoyed everything about the place so much. Gilberto was particularly helpful and was kind enough to remember and accommodate a special table request we had spoken about on the telephone earlier in the week. We’ll be back often!
Delicious Indian cuisine, the waiters suggested items were excellent. We will definitely be back!
