View Private Dining DetailsWe brought friends for the first time.
They really enjoyed there meals.
The service was outstanding.
Thank you for a great place to eat.
One of our favorite Ft. Lauderdale restaurants. Friendly service, good selection of wine, drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts, some very good specials, food and otherwise (i.e., 50% off wine bottles on certain nights). We've been there for a simple night out and for birthday/anniversary celebrations. There is live music by an excellent acoustic guitarist that does not interfere with conversation and his talent is outstanding. A really nice vibe here. Always a successful evening.
My second visit to Mojo in a week and my second overall. That should say something all on its own.
The lump crab appetizer is a must. But order the "clams & piggies," too. Not only are the proteins in it outstanding, but you're going to want to get extra bread to soak up the amazing broth.
The duck breast is phenomenal. My companions had the salmon and the chicken stir-fry and raved about both. All accompanied by a very good traditional Bordeaux. And with very attentive but patient service that allowed us to enjoy a slow-paced dinner and be the last to leave.
Love the live musician.
Great restaurant, great food, amazing food, great entertainment and got to meet the owner!
We enjoy the taste to our palettes. Those of our tongue and our sights.
The artwork by Dominic is very intriguing and new and the food that comes from the kitchen and its presentation is just wonderful.
As out of towners, we were thrilled to find MOJO, so much so that we went twice in one week! Nice variety of foods and flavors but nothing you won't recognize. Sometimes there's even a cool twist (baked escargot for example, with feta, artichoke hearts; and the burrata with fig preserves and prosciutto!). Nice cocktails that can be tweaked to your specs. Great food specials (mussels Monday especiallY, and all night happy hour on Wednesdays--house is very good so a killer value). We also had the hangar steak with chimichurri, aforementioned mussels, the meatballs (very very good) and some other stuff. The bread offered is also delicious. Friendly and helpful service even if not always on our same wavelength. Definitely give it a shot. Live music and Thurs-Sat and because of Wednesday happy hour, you'll want to make reservations before going Wed-Sat.
We visited MOJOs on St. Patrick's night as we heard they were having corned beef and cabbage. Of the 8 people in our party, 7 ordered the corned beef. It was outstanding. The portions of the cabbage and root vegetables were small but every thing was delicious and the price was very reasonable. We will probably go again next year! Thank you to our Waiter John for great service , to Dominik, the chef for visiting our table and to Michael, the guitar player, who lived in my home town of Winthrop, Mass, back in the day!
Food was very good as always. Service was extremely slow as there wasn't sufficient wait staff.
Friendly staff, great greeting, service was very good as well as the drinks were outstanding. Would recommend Blueberry Mojito. Food was above average and we most certainly would return.
The Chef at Mojo never disappoints! The food here is consistently great from the regular menu and the always creative specials. We have brought friends and relatives here for several years and now when relatives come to town, we MUST have dinner at Mojo. It's just that good.
We had not been to Mojo in prob over 7 years and had only eaten there once but wasn’t impressed. We figured after the long gap and a lot of good reviews we would try it again, Service was downright awful. Waited 10 minutes for first contact by waitress, ordered bottle water n iced tea. Waited another 19 minutes for drinks and the she said she would be right back to tell us about specials. Another 10 minutes and she comes back to see if we are ready to order. A half hour to place the order. The table next to us that sat at the same time and had a different waitress was already eating their appetizers. Waitress never brought bread, had to ask two times. Also had asked for ketchup but decided to go ask bartender on second request since the waitress was no where around.. overall, waitress really could care less that we were there. Food was ok but nothing special. Will be another 8 years before we try again
We has a great time. The food was great. Can't wait to go back
A lovely experience, as usual. Food, service and ambience always a delight.
Mojo is our favorite FT Lauderdale restaurant. Once you enter from the nondescript strip mall, you are welcomed into an environment that is both bright and colorful and quietly subdued. The food is excellent- perfectly cooked mussels, fantastic fried artichokes, or great spicy shrimp on polenta for appetizers. The main dishes dont forget their veggies- accompaniments are part of meal and not an afterthought. My favorite dessert is the bread pudding
Found this gem on open table. Lucky for us it was half of bottles of wine the night we went! Food was absolutely incredible. Portions were generous and service was stellar! We are from out of town and the staff offered wonderful tips and tricks for around the area! Will definitely be back next time we are in town
When I booked online I asked for a special table in the corner for my husband‘s birthday. They could not have been more accommodating. They got us the perfect table and we had an outstanding night. I will be going there many many more times! My new neighborhood go-to! Thank you to a staff that went above and beyond!!
Excellent food, wine & service! Acoustic guitar by Michael Bianco was the perfect accompaniment. Nice portions for the price. No negatives here, you can't go wrong dinning here.
I wanted to try this place for a while. Finally made it there. Loved the food and the service, the only negative was that being our first time I was expecting the hostess should have realized that and seat us on a better table. Our table was next to the kitchen entrance so we could hear all the noise from the waiters bringing the dishes in. But the food was great and the waitress was on top of everything.
Always YUMMY! Great service. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Deliciosly prepared food and fabulous desserts. Everything homemade by the excellent, creative chef.
As always, everything was to perfection!
Made reservations or Valentines day. You’d think they’d do a better job at staffing and presentation. Server was more interested in her phone and coworkers.
Our meals took 1.5 hours to come out. It was a 2 hour dining experience and we had appetizers, a drink each, and our meal. As soon as they dropped the meals I asked for the check.
It’s the first time I have EVER calculated exactly 18% for a tip.
Overall poor experience. $185 bill and not worth more than $100 if that.
Will never return.
Everything was fantastic as always. Great food and terrific service. My only negative is on the "entrees for two" pricing. Their regular 8oz filet mignon is $32 with side, but the entree for two with 8oz filet and lobster tail was $80! Seems insanely high for a small lobster tail add on and to have to split an 8oz filet.
The food was just to anything more than average. We ordered chicken livers that came raw. Seriously still dripping blood when cut. I’ve never had them like that and found is really gross. Is that how people eat them?
If you order pasta in this Italian restaurant please know there are only penne and linguini avail. Well, that’s what we were told. I found that Amazing.
The filet was average. We elected to go elsewhere for desert.
Very nice service tho.
My partner and I went for an early Valentine's Day dinner and had a great experience. As always, our favorite server Arturo was very attentive.
I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he suggested the pork chop. It was delicious! It had a maple syrup and browns sugar rub with grilled peaches and carmelized red onions on top. I highly recommend it.
Tuesday nights you get a soup or salad and dessert for the price of the entree. My pork chop was $26. The salad was hearty and I had a slice of Hummingbird cake for dessert.
Menu is eclectic. My friend had the stir fry. She thought is was good, but nothing to rush back for.
I will return. Looking forward to trying another item in the menu, but it will be hard to beat the one I had.
Waiter and service was wonderful. But the place was not very crowded, seeing how it was the day before Valentine's Day.
We had a wonderful experience at dinner there this evening.
We had the pescatore pasta (clams, mussels, shrimp, crab, calamari, linguine) with the white wine garlic sauce, the peppercorn crusted filet mignon (bourbon grain mustard sauce, wild mushrooms, wild mushrooms, pan fried broccolini with gorgonzola cheese), a side of cauliflower goat cheese puree, and a side of apple riccota pound cake with salted caramel and vanilla gelato.
I made a reservation through Open Table. I made a note that we have a birthday boy, and they gave us a complimentary birthday dessert. (It's not his birthday just yet, but hes going away, so we had an early celebration, and they gave us the dessert anyway. )
They were very accommodating.
Wonderful staff.
Great service.
Food was delicious.
It was our first time, and they already have our loyalty.
We will be returning once he gets back from vacation!
Service was very slow and we had a bad table. Food was v good we just didn't have a great experience.
MOJO is always a hit! MOJO has always-reliable food, service, ambiance. A beautiful restaurant with food and service to match. Thank you!
I love this place!!! Great food, service and ambiance...never disappoints me...always creative specials. I take friends here all the time...everyone becomes a raving fan.
Great food, great guitarist, great service. We will be back!
Good pleasant atmosphere
We were visiting and picked this spot based on reviews. While a bit away from things, it was worth the journey. We enjoyed our fish dinners, service was very good, guitar music pleasing. All around good review!
Spending three nights in Ft Lauderdale and having read several reviews, we had dinner here tonight. The beet salad was a great first course; my wife enjoyed the duck breast and I had one of the daily specials, mahi-mahi with an Asian touch. The two rooms seemed full of regulars appreciative of the personable service.
Fabulous food. Something for everyone. Great artwork. Great service.
In all the years we have been dining here, we have never been disappointed with the food, drinks or service. Everything is always delicious!
The food is always consistently very good. There are always new items on the menu to choose from. Service was great as usual too. The key lime pie was authentic and just the right amount of tartness
Our favorite go to spot.
Great food. Great staff. Amazing experience
Outstanding food; the lamb shank was perfectly made. I loved the decor and ambiance. The waiter was very attentive. Overall, MOJO was a great experience; I'll be back.
