In this adobe hacienda from the Mojave desert, the décor is subdued and soothing. Warm cream color walls, dark wood floors and furniture allow one to focus on the artistic design of the room, with three separate pitched ceilings made from spruce and fir strategically placed with hidden lighting on the walls. When evening falls, the flickering glow of candles adds comfortable warmth to the already pleasant ambiance. The food is Southwestern with, of course, an authentic Mexican flare.

Mojave Ratings and Reviews
Great brunch spot with bottomless option for $34.95 or $16.95 for an alcoholic drink, coffee or tea and an entree. I had the french vanilla bean french toast. It was nice and soft; melted in your mouth. Cochinits pibil benedict was amazing. Nice variety of choices. Make sure to get there early and if possible make a reservation
I came here for brunch for my birthday on 7/30/17. I chose Mojave because I had been to brunch here before and loved it. Needless to say, I loved it again. Both times I came with a group of around 8 people. They were very accommodating, and the atmosphere is great. The food is DELICIOUS and the sangrita is so good!
Can't beat these brunch prices either!
The restaurant was very clean and candle lit ... it was busy as it was a Thursday night and the manager understaffed by only having one waitress, Lola handle the entire restaurant. There was enough servers and bus staff but only one waitress. Lola took our order and was as attentive as if we were her only table. The food was delicious and not rushed which is what we enjoyed most. Drinks were a tad expensive a frozen flavored margarita will run you $11. Overall it was very good food and service their prices could come down a bit.
Do NOT pay for the bottomless brunch! $35 includes one brunch entree and unlimited Bloody Mary, mimosa, sangria, etc. Sounded like a good deal, until we realized all the drinks were HORRIBLE (we had to send back 2 different drinks before settling on a mimosa because that's the only one that is impossible to screw up). The entrees were decent, but portions were the size of appetizers/small plates (the burrito comes in a tortilla that could probably be used for a taco lol). Not going back. Staff was nice though!
Such a wonderful night! Our service was fantastic, friendly, fun, and very attentive. The food was fantastic, as always, and the Sangritas were giant and delicious. Just a really wonderful way to spend a birthday dinner with friends and some delicious comforting Southern-Mex.
The food was OK but I wouldn't go back because the service was horrible. Not to bury the lede, but to make everything worse with the service being poor we were charged for two drinks we never ordered. It was corrected, but annoying. The restaurant was less than half empty on a Saturday night at 830pm and it took a while before anyone came over to us after we first sat down. Waitress/waitresses were not friendly, didn’t ask once how the food was. Almost felt like we were being rushed the whole time. As long as the food/drinks are good and a fair price I don’t mind the service not being 100% but this was pretty bad.
Hostess gave away our table for our reservation. It was originally set for 2:15, we didn't end up sitting down until 3:30pm then it took a while for anyone to come to us. The manager ended up coming over and is the one who served us. The manager was extremely understanding of the bad service that we were experiencing and was more than accommodating to our needs.
I went there with my friends for a night out and we got there a bit early and they were able to seat us right away which was a plus in my book. The food was great and the drinks were awesome but the service wasn't great.
Our waiter seemed out of it and it took him 20 minutes to grab us our drinks and it wasn't that busy. He didn't check in on us once and they forgot one of our appetizers. When our meals came, I finally was able to mention it to them and then the appetizer came at the end of our meal. At that point, they should of just asked if we even wanted it or not! I would eat there again in hopes that the waitstaff wakes up a bit!
The first time I was here, I ate in the outdoor area in the backyard. It was nice but too buggy. This time we ate inside and it was honestly much nicer. The low lighting and candle light make it a great date spot. The food is delicious and so are the drink options. Location is close to the train which is convenient but street parking is harder to find.
Mojave for years was our favorite go-to spot for any or every occasion. They had a new chef which we were quite displeased with- so a group of us haven't been back in months. As soon as we heard that they had brought back the original chef, we ran right back. The food is absolutely delicious, flavor in every part of each dish. The steak fajitas are mouth-watering!! And of course the sangritas are a must. Service amazing as always. So so happy they brought the chef back, hats off to him and his staff!!!
I went to Mohave for the first (and last) time meeting friends for brunch. I made a reservation for 1:30 (party of 4) and did not get seated until 2:30. We were seated next to an extremely large, loud and rude party of about 20 people who were so loud we couldn't hear our friends from across the table. We all ordered the bottomless, pre-fixe brunch. My Energy breakfast was an extremely small and mediocre tasting portion of food for $32. The only enjoyable part of this experience was the Sangria, which was pretty strong and very tasty, but certainly not worth putting up with all of the other inconveniences. Will not be returning, would not recommend.
Overall the food was just OK. We were a party of 6 adults. Everyone ate something different, and the consensus was the same...the food was just OK. One of us sent he main course back because the food was tepid.
Service was good and the staff was attentive. The interior decor is very nice, but based on the food I would not go back.
Made a reservation on open table. I arrived at the restaurant and was told they could not seat us because they had a wedding in the back room. The only place they could seat was at a hightop bar table. Not the experience I was expecting. Food was good. The guacamole was fresh. The waiter was very attentive. Would have preferred a table with more space. Will give it a second try because the margarita left a lasting impression. Hopefully I'll be seated correctly next time.
