Ce n’est pas par hasard que le magazine Forbes nous ait désigné comme l’une des 10 meilleures maisons de steak au monde. Et que Moishes soit l’un des hauts lieux de la gastronomie montréalaise depuis plus de 70 ans. D’après nous, c’est à cause du goût authentique des mets à l’ancienne qui figurent sur notre menu.

The place is interesting. Has frames with old pictures menus and antique items. Great place to go after hours if your hungry. Also for the price, well got to admit that it is really affordable. The food is also very good. All in all it s a great place to go if on a budget.

Excellent service! Restaurant 5 étoiles. Nous avons été traité comme des gens importants et nous sentions que nous l'étions vraiment pour le personnel. C'était pas juste un service, c'était une éthique de travail, un standard pour recevoir. L'ambiance était chaleureuse et calme contrairement à bien des restaurants où on ne s'entend pas penser. C'était parfait!

We came for the $29 dinner deal (offered after 9 PM Wed-Sat), and it was amazing! Portions were generous, well-served and tasted great. The place oozes history and Montreal-ness. While the fashions may change, you get sense that your grandfather probably dined here and loved it too. It's sophisticated, vibrant and noisy all at the same time, and underneath the bargain price and great food, you get the feeling that the family who runs this place loves what they do, night in and night out. Moishe's is a treasure...
Very expensive for what's in your plate. There are cheaper restaurant.

Delicious filet mignon, salad and veggies! Only the chocolate cake was disappointing.
Service was good, except at the end we had to wait a very long time to get the check, although the restaurant was very quiet by then.

Food was amazing. The service felt rushed. Usually I get more out of my waiter in a steakhouse. Not here. Best coleslaw and pickles I’ve ever had. The chargrill makes a whole lot of difference in the streak and veggies. Filet was giant.
Service was good, and they were thoughtful they brought a cake for my birthday. The food is good, but it’s not worth the price they charge. I was expecting juicy, tasty out of the ordinary steak and salmon with at least some sides included. I won’t lie I make better steak on the grill at home with steak coming from a butcher for a fraction of the price and a better ambience than this. But again it’s a good experience and nice for special occasions. Or maybe to try their late 9pm menu, but not for their regular menu.
Moishes has excellent service and great food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fancy dinner.

The food was delicious but there were so many people and it was very loud. Additionally there were not enough waiters for the people so we had to wait a while each time we needed the waiter.
Superbe experience
Overall i loved the ambiance and the service. However, the Salmon i ate was definitely not great.. had no taste to it. Also the steak was kinda dry! We asked for medium well done but it was not what we asked for. I felt like our waiter Pedro was very nice but he was talking really fast and just wanted to get the orders really fast. Overall the excitement I had in try that place it wasn't as great as I thought.
Excellent choix de vins. Les steaks sont délicieux. Le service est rapide et courtois. Le préposé au vestiaire est comique. C’est un endroit charmant et agréable. Une classe à part. Je vous recommande fortement ce restaurant.
Nous étions venu pour les steaks et nous avons été comblés. Le faux filet était tout simplement parfait!! Rien de moins. Seul point négatif est la sélection de vin rouge au verre qui n'est pas grande, mais bon, au moins il y avait un Bordeaux et un Pinot Noir du Chili donc c'était satisfaisant. A bit pricey but worth it

Valentine’s day date with my girlfriend was awesome! After 9pm menu was excellent! 10/10 experience in a great setting and atmosphere.
Impressed with the level of service for a busy valentines night. Our waiter seemed to be new, we were understanding. Food was great.
Best steakhouse in Montreal! We had the Porterhouse for two..... Heaven on Earth! the grilled vegetables (so good) was our chouse of side dish, appertizers were the carpaccio beef and lobster roll. Our server was very nice and funny. It was a great experience ! I would have to say, its the best meat i ever tasted! (Follow by Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse in Vegas) . a must!
Food was very salty, value was not there for the portion size or the taste.
My first time at Moishe's after 20+ years living in Montreal and it didn't disappoint. The staff gave us very good recommendations, the quality of the food was excellent and there was no issue taking home the rest of the (very large) rib eyes. It's not cheap, but neither is it overpriced for what you get. Looking forward to next time.
While the quality of the steak was excellent and the service great, I felt it was very overpriced for what we got. I wouldn’t go back to spend 280$ for 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 steaks, 1 side and 1 dessert(tip 18% included).

The sunday night special would be great if the peace of meat was thicker ( as usual) and the cooking was to the satisfaction of the client. It was defenitly not.
Unfortunatly I have been there at a regular basis and when it is the regular menu it is very good.
I am really disapointed because we were planing to eat there on sunday night.
