My husband and I visited for our first date night out in awhile. We were very comfortable as the restaurant had plenty of spacing between tables and good COVID protocols. I had the lycee margarita and the jazzmoney cocktails and both were delicious! Our food - from appetizers to dessert- was great. The service was also very good and atmosphere was nice! Definitely recommend trying this!

Have been to this place many times. It was fine last night but not great. I think it may be due to covid. Many things off menu. Small plates were limited. Miss a few items that used to be so good. Hope after covid it returns to a full menu.

Everything was perfect.

Delicious food, beautifully presented! Lots of meat options and vegetarian options including dumplings made with vegetarian meat substitutes! Great drinks including lychee margaritas!

Amazing food and service! We were happily surprised to get live music as well!

Great place for small plates and date night! I would definitely check this out for a night of drinks or something romantic.

Mofu is fantastic. Intimate setting with variety of aesthetic appeal. Eager service. All of the best adjectives describe the food - delicious, unique, umami, artistic, the list goes on. Love coming here with out of town family, on dates, with my girlfriends, business lunches (although their hours are limited right now), really any occasion. They also have a great mezzanine that I plan to use for special events when larger gatherings are safe again.

Along the lines of pandemic... extra spacing was evident, some four top tables avail outside, temperature checks required before seating, masks on away from table - I’m sure their list of safety protocols is longer but from what I could observe all staff were adhering to best practices and making sure customers were safe and comfortable.

Food was excellent the server could've been a little more attentive but overall good experience and will definitely be back for more DUMPLINGS!!!!

Almost everything was amazing. And the portion sizes for “shareables” are large!

Only criticism is that the dishes all came at once. It was a lot to process. Even 5 minutes between would have been nice.

Waiter was attentive and made good suggestions. We will be coming back !

Dumplings and KFC buns out of this world

We went to MOFU which I booked through open table and the place was closed. It was boarded up. We tried to call and only received a direct voicemail. I didn’t know who to be mad at. Open table or MOFU. Me and my wife went to Rockford on Glenwood and that place was nice.

Have to say I had anxiety with the pandemic. BUYTTT, Mofo takes temperature coming in the door. Then I watched every server use hand sanitizer and constantly put on new gloves between tables. Every employee had a mask on and wore it properly.

Now, the salt and pepper Margarita, I am stealing that idea and will tell all my friends I invented it. Sorry if I am late to the party on this but it was great.

Please try the Thai BBQ shrimp ( New Orleans style), first time having bone marrow, and the duck is what I would call a take on loaded french fries.

I am going back this weekend to try more things on the menu.

Great outdoor option for COVID19 times. Delicious food and good service. I recommend it if you are a foodie.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every suggestion our waitress had was amazing. Can't express how happy we were with everything.

We tried it for the first time and loved it!!! Our favs were the dumplings and bahn mi corn dog.

A pleasant mean and set of cocktails. So glad this place is open again, following months of being closed because of Covid-19. Staff is great, ambiance is pleasant.

Service was great and food was outstanding. We didn’t leave a dumpling or a noodles on our plates. Would recommend and we will return!!

Food was fabulous! great selections of beverages and nice ambiance. A little pricey but great!

Food was OK... appetizers were great...my wife enjoyed her flounder tacos...my dish, the seafood stew was bland. The server did offer complementary dessert to make up for it. I would give them another chance though.

Very accommodating to our large party (15). The server suggested small plates so we could talk and enjoy ourselves without having to worry about the menu. Food was great. Hot wings are hotttt.

The food is good! Get the kimchi rice balls, lime wings, and brussels sprouts. 💪👌🏻

Everything was great but we felt a little rushed by the staff - the server asked if we were finished with something three times even though there was still food on the plate or liquid in the glass. And the main courses came out not long after the small plates. But we took our time anyway, and the experience was excellent overall.

My server was great. He worked to ensure that all water glasses were maintained and the food was hot when delivered to the table.

First timers and will return. Our reservation wasn’t ready on time but they got us in shortly after our scheduled time. Service was great, we had a manager and even a few servers come to us apologizing and making sure we were happy!

Went to MOFU for a friend’s birthday celebration. Wonderful food, service and a fun, casual atmosphere.

Atmosphere was perfectly fine.
Service was par (mainly because of my issue with the food and it was never addressed)
Food was below okay to me.

I've been here once before and I ordered the shrimp sandwich which was actually great no issues.
Yesterday I ordered the Japchae which is outside of my normal meal, but had a lot of ingredients that I love so I figured i'd try it. Definitely was not what I had expected (Not really sure what I was expecting tbh) I just couldn't stomach it (mainly due to the texture and the stems I kept getting in my mouth) so I just let it sit there, I didn't want to complain and I didn't need another dish I was perfectly fine going without.

However the server never one time addressed this or even asked if I enjoyed the dish or what I thought about anything. He clearly saw that I took like 5 bites and it was a very full bowl when he took it away yet no investigation? Not a huge deal just figured it was worth sharing.
