$150.00 per person
Multiple dates available
Join us for a modern Omakase experience at our exclusive 8-seat counter. Our seasonal offerings highlight Japanese dry-aged fish, wagyu beef, and seasonal produce from local farms. A deposit of $50 is required to secure your reservation for the MODAN Omakase experience, which commences at $150 per person (excluding beverages, service fee, and sales tax). The deposit will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so we can ensure the best experience for you. We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your reservation, as all guests will begin and end their experience together. There is a 10-minute grace period before the Omakase begins.

Slightly overpriced for what you get—while the food was decent, it didn’t live up to the cost. Service was lacking, and the timing of both food and drinks was poorly managed. On top of that, parking was only partially validated, and there was even an upcharge for a large ice cube in an old fashioned. For the same price point, Shoto in DC delivers a significantly better overall experience.

Waitstaff seemed inpatient. Food was great, just not amazing. The ambience was incredible, though. And the manager was kind and accomadating, bringing us champagne for the special day.

Great service and amazingly fresh curated sushi for the Omakase experience we had. It was either a bit loud or the Chef was too quiet when telling us what he was serving. It was hard to hear what he was saying. Other places we did Omakase, there was a dedicated space/room/restaurant just for Omakase. Overall, still very good. Easy to get to and parking is in the same building. Will come back for regular table seating.

The opening of Modan is one of the best things to happen to the high-end restaurant scene in the DMV in a long time. As self-proclaimed foodies, my fiance and I are always looking for something new that's top tier. We found it in Modan. Chef Chico did an amazing job wtih every dish. The desserts were also amazing. The service was also fantastic from the minute we walked in the door until the time we left. We cannot wait to go back!

Wow! First time and from the time I entered the restaurant until I departed, simply exceptional!! The primary waiter was friendly, informed, and appropriately available, The food was exquisite and well portioned. The drinks simply above the top shelf — try the Aviation with Hendricks if you like gin! All foodies need to experience Modan!
