“This hidden gem, nestled along the tracks with a pretty flower-laden courtyard for dining, is one to put on regular rotation. Modern and chic, the dining room, with its rotating art selections, dark wood seating and black leather half-banquettes that sit below an inset circular ceiling, is a great place for power lunches and weekend dates. The lounge, which is separated from the dining room by a state of the art glass wine room, is perfect for grabbing quick bites and craft cocktails. As for the food, it's hard to lose. Among starters, the crab cakes and margherita flatbread are rivaled by a French onion soup that's better than what you find at most French bistros. An absolute must to follow is the cedar plank salmon, cloaked in a teriyaki glaze and served with mixed veggies and shoestring potatoes. The steaks, ribs and bourbon-glazed pork chop are no slouches either, especially when paired with a glass of wine from the extensive but approachable wine list.”

MLG Ratings and Reviews
We were never greeted by a server so we had to go to the hostess and tell her. From then on, service was extremely slow and minimal, but the waitress was very pleasant. Level of noise was so high that we almost gave up on conversation. I really like this place during the weekdays, but they cannot handle the busy times on the weekends.
Ordered gluten free lobster mac and cheese and filet with potatoes and brussel sprouts.
Pasta was excellent. Steak lacked flavor. Potatoes were good, sprouts could have used a few more minutes in the oven.
Service was excellent.
Prices weren’t horrible, but it wasn’t a bargain either.
Overall would recommend giving the place a try and seeing for yourself.
I had the 22 oz bone in Rib eye. It was a cheap steak and tasted ok but was obviously low quality. Chewy and under seasoned.
Grilled calamari was awesome. Brussels spouts awesome. The steak was a huge disappointment. Sorry Marcus. You need to kick up the quality.
My wife and I had planned a Valentine's Day dinner, and booked through Open Table. We got the reservation at the time we wanted, and arrived to find the restaurant decorated in Red Hearts, which was very thoughtful and welcoming. We had a lovely, un-rushed dinner, and enjoyed our meal tremendously. Love the veggie chips, too. This was our 5th visit
MLG is beautifully decorated, with warm colors. The atmosphere is a little loud, but feels welcoming. The hostess is cold and unpleasant. We had reservations and she acted like we were unwelcome. Our server was super friendly and warm. Our food was good, especially the risotto!! We will be back, hoping the hostess is replaced!!
We were looking forward to finding a new place not far from home. Despite the fact we chose to eat early and the restaurant was nearly empty, we were seated at a table along the wine storage that kind of felt more like bar seating than a dining table. It wasn't great, but not horrible UNTIL the other diners started arriving and then we got the full draft from outside every single time someone walked in or out. Since the restaurant was getting busy, we ended up being very cold and uncomfortable.
My husband's shrimp and scallop risotto was okay, but not outstanding, especially for the price - $33. And, what a surprise to be charged $35 for it on the bill! We caught the mistake and the manager apologized, but it made us wonder how often it isn't caught and maybe it wasn't a mistake?
I ordered the pork chop and specifically asked them to not overcook it. It is perfectly fine to have a little pink in pork. Unfortunately, it arrived on the dry side due to being cooked just a little too long. The roasted vegetables and sauce were delicious, but the mashed potatoes...meh.
There are so many great options in the area so it's a shame this was so disappointing.
It is sad to see this restaurant constantly trying to find itself. The food was good and service was fine but just feel like this place keeps reinventing itself and is not finding its footing. I was told there was a brunch menu but there wasn't and that was a main reason we came. The music is hard rock. Doesn't fit the place. It needs a good manager who really cares to make this place what is was before it became MLG
Have to admit, this dining event was not nearly as good as our first experience at MLG. The server was tied up with a big party and we were a bit of an afterthought. Had to ask for everything including drinks. Food did not come exactly as ordered and the Gumbo was mediocre at best. Will likely try again, but hope the next time will be better.
