This restaurant has actually closed, and was closed at the time I made the reservation.
Couldn’t recommend what I couldn’t have i went to the place where the restaurant was supposed to be with my party of 6 for my daughters 7th bday celebration only to find out the restaurant no longer existed so i had a reservation for a restaurant that was out of business...so my experience was TERRIBLE
The restaurant shut down and we did not receive any notification. We found out about the closure by searching online.
This restaurant was closed? Why would you allow birthday reservations with confirmation and when we arrive the entire Restaurant be out of business. WORST experience making reservations I have ever had. Shame MLG and Open Table for letting this happen to us!
I really am not totally happy with the food. Not as good as candy apple. Reservation said no inside seating available. Plenty of tables vacant.
Went there for brunch, only to find out its not available on Saturday. It would be helpful if website stated when brunch menu is available. Disappointing because that’s the reason we went there. Early Mother’s Day brunch fail. My bad for not calling ahead to verify, but no reason for it not to be stated on website that the menu is limited.
The food was flavorful and the leftovers tasted fresh next day!!
Food value, taste and amount isn't upto the cost of the food. Music was enjoyable and ambiance nice. Service well not what we expect in a restaurant where we spend over $100 for four people and no alchol.
MLG did an awesome promotion on Facebook that I was able to honor with no static for a free wild mushroom flatbread. I will be back to purchase this same flatbread because it was excellent. I also had a shareable plate of grilled lamb chops on top of a green bean slaw salad. I've eaten here several times and unfortunately this was my least favorite. I love love lamb chops but I rated the service a for because my waiter took my order brought my food with no other utensils that I could use to cut the lamb chops and when I went to eat them they were a little tough just to bite straight from the bone. They had excellent flavor and the barbecue sauce and was good as well. The green bean slaw salad lacked slight seasoning but overall it was a nice size chop and a nice starter. I'm a major Foodie in MLG is one of my favorite spots. I appreciate that they switch the menu up and give me a ride to you even during lunch time. I stopped at The Sweet Spot on the way back and got a few treats for my friends and I that they all enjoyed. Very well worth the price and your time.
Great spot for a business lunch. Very attentive staff that understood the dynamics of a work lunch. I would highly recommend.
Parking is difficult, Ambiance is very good, service was very good as it should be in a mostly empty restaurant. Food is unremarkable, I would not return.
Food was great and server was very attentive, friendly and couldn't have done a better job.
Excellent food, nice and quiet so we could talk without having to shout (Thur night), and really amazing specialty cocktails.
We were seated at 3:55 for a 4 p.m. reservation. When the server arrived she asked, "So...since your reservation was for 4, do you want a dinner menu instead of a lunch menu? Because we change over at 4."
That was the most helpful she was for the rest of our meal. Another server picked up half way through and we didn't see her again until she came back with the credit card receipt, telling us what a pleasure we had been and encouraging us to ask for her when we come back.
Food was nice and tasty, but portions were small and prices high, not considering portions. My seven year old had mac and cheese and wouldn't eat it because it was too spicy. I've learned kids like basic mac and cheese, nothing fancy.
We chose this restaurant for convenience - it was the only thing in walking distance during the brief break we had. I would do the same thing again, but would not otherwise choose to go back.
Arrived early; not crowded at all. I got lobster burger. Came quickly, but was not warm, mushy and not a lot of flavor. Will give them another try, but was disappointed.
What a fun place to see. Associated with “Sweet Pete’s, Marcus Lemonis added his MLG restaurant.
The food was wonderful - the building fun, yet the restaurant itself classy. Just my opinion, but too bad about the location. There were very few patrons on a Friday night. In another spot, it would most likely be packed.
Food and experience is consistent no surprises. Great place to eat if you find yourself downtown.
They remembered us and our order, they pay attention! :-) Food and people are on point!
The food was very mediocre. The Crab Pot Pie was boring and bland. Just a lot of crabmeat under a pastry crust. Some vegetables mixed in would hv been nice. Too heavy to be enjoyed by both people in our group. They took if home but may not eat it. $25 x 2 right out the window or, should I say, in the garbage can. The risotto dish I ordered was also very bland. My husband ordered the dish the week before and the risotto was delicious. That is why I ordered it but it was NOT good. It was my husband’s birthday dinner, as noted in the reservation but, for the second time, no one noticed or brought anything to the table. I finally mentioned it at the end, so there was no surprise. A very LACKLUSTER ice cream Sunday (minus the syrup) was delivered with a candle. The entire experience was not good and we will not be back.
Ate lunch here with husband and teenage daughter. Husband ordered shrimp and grits; I ordered blackened chicken sandwich; daughter cheeseburger. Everything was cooked extremely well. Place was clean and beautifully decorated. Only complaint- appetizers say they’re shareable but they are very small portions for perhaps two people. Waitress was not very personable but remembered everything which is what is most important but I like to have friendly servers - just makes me feel better about eating what’s brought to my table.
We were a party of 6 crammed into a table meant for 4...the host never once apologized or even offered to move us when they clearly had tables open up. The only person who was remotely helpful was the busboy, who asked the host on our behalf...and then we were moved. Both our host and waiter showed no interest in our comfort or our reservation. meanwhile the party next to us were a party of 8 seated at 3 tables that could comfortable hold 12. The food was great. This was my first and last time I will be dining here. We had to wait 20 minutes for our table that I reserved days in advance and the host didnt even care to apologize but seated a walkin party of 4 immediately...who came in after us!!
I had dinner there on a Tuesday night. There was only 1 table occupied other than myself. I had seen a dish on their website that I wanted to order. It wasn't on the menu, so I asked the waiter if the chef could make that dish. The answer was a resounding NO. I ordered something else. 2 minutes later I was told they were out of that! My 3rd choice was not anywhere near what I had gone to this resturant for. Also, the wine pour was the skimpiest pour I've seen in a very long time. The meal was a BUST!!
This place was a fun atmosphere. The food was okay. I liked the candy shop and definitely want to return for one of the classes. It’s a unique experience.
As with our previous experience, our server Michael was excellent. The food is creative and very good.
Neither the food nor the atmosphere lived up to the hype. The lobster burger and the Blue Crab Pot pie were lacking flavor. The steak fries side was served cold. Service was spot on
I love the different element to the American traditional food like the Lobster burger that I had which was different and good. I love my mixed sweet potatoes and regular waffle fried. I would recommend this restaurant .
Overpriced on wine (house wine $10.00 per glass). Asked for bread - got a slice of cibatta, was charged $4.00. Asked why - condescending waitress said that's the way it is.
Good food, but will not return. And from the lack of patrons there on a Saturday night, they obviously have issues.
Food was excellent. The staff was great. Our family enjoyed it.
Extremely mediocre. Filet was overdose and not tender. Service was also mediocre.
Delicious food, great environment. Only complaint was that the food was very slow to be delivered. Would go again though.
The food was creative and very good. Our server Michael was excellent. We ate early as we were attending a show so it was quiet, which was nice.
It was our first time there - most of our food was very good. We will definitely go back there again.
Service was good, but there was nothing special about the meal.
The restaurant is a greet meet and greet, date night spot and after work dinner. The dining room is very well put together.
Architecture of restaurant is very appealing. Service great. Food good but needs to improve
We had a great time celebrating my son’s 3rd birthday. Riley was attentive and very sweet. Would highly recommend.
Our group ended up having 7 people which MLG graciously accomodated. The presentation of our lunch choices was beautiful but, more importantly, the food was fabulous. We all agreed that we will be back and will not wait for a special occasion to do so!
It took a while to get our food but we were in NO hurry.
The food was good.
We had great service...Riley was our waitress.
She did a great job.
My meal, the grouper was great overall. The crusted parts on the fish were way too salty but everything else was good. My wife's shrimp and pasta felt like we had a fancy dinner at a low end restaurant. It was very bland, shrimp had no spices. It tasted like the shrimp and pasta was made from a frozen bag and then tossed in some butter and garlic powder. Not Something I would have expected from fine dining. We had ordered one drink, we forget what it was called but it was mostly froth. It was not good. Got a second drink the server recommended and it was excellent. Seems like MLG has a few things to figure out, but once they do, I can see it being a local favorite.
The food was undercooked, we had to send both meals back. One meal had to be sent back twice. They handled it well, so I went there again for another business lunch, and there was hair in the food. The food preparation and quality is very poor. Disappointing.
