Bangers and mash was very good.
Was very grateful to the staff who provided my fiancé and I along with our friends free champagne to celebrate our engagement.
Service was pretty good but the food was nothing exceptional. Fish was very greasy had too much breading and the first time around undercooked. Great location but need to work on food quality.
Good food. Server was attentive. Like other reviews noted, it was a little dark in the dining room in certain areas.
It’s Thanksgiving. We’re thankful that the host was such a dick we left and went to Legal’s instead. The place was empty. No wonder.
Parking validation didn’t take at the Westin garage, so we paid $20 more for parking than we should have.
Food was better than I expected and I would go back again. I recommend the fish and chips pizza and burgers
There really are no restaurants close to the Westin. The food is great and very cost effective pricing. We had the Fish & Chips, Cajun Burger, MJ Burger & a Pizza they all were excellent
Everyone was very nice and efficient, the food was all good, and the beer/wine selection was also good.
Interior spaces were a little dark for my taste.
Nice service with the food worth for the price! Good servers to please the crowd when it is busy!
Went here after a comedy show at Laugh Boston. Nice, quick service and good food! Reasonable prices.
I chose this restaurant out of a variety of options in Boston because the menu was able to accommodate a vegetarian, a meat eater, a child and someone on a diet. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome. Our server wasn't super friendly, but honestly we didn't need that from him. He was attentive and we didn't lack for anything at our table. This is a great place to meet friends for a fun meal. In our case we met friends we hadn't seen in twenty years and the atmosphere was conducive to conversation. Everyone felt comfortable. For example, we were sitting outside and noticed a chill and without even asking the staff turned on the overhead outdoor heaters for us. It was a lovely evening and dinner out with friends at MJ Oconnors.
Good Food Good ambiance service a bit slow but not too bad. A good solid choice
I loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and energetic and the food was enjoyed by all of us! I can't wait to go back again to try something else out on their menu. There is a great comedy club next door, so you can make a nice night of dining and entertainment without having to move your car. And they also also validate parking for a discount.
Two families celebrating together on the 2 Dad's birthdays. Called ahead to let them know and we were "surprised" with 2 super decadent slices of chocolate cake/ice cream with candles (and spoons for everyone)! As a group we ordered cocktails, beer, appetizers, salads/soups, & pizza as well as main entrees ... and the food disappeared instantly! Highly recommend the calamari and truffle steak flat bread pizza as appetizers and the salmon was terrific and very fresh! Quick and friendly service was very much appreciated.
Fun hotel restaurant with an Irish Pub theme. A nice find.
Good location. The Guiness Onion soup was cold, flavor was blah and the crouton was too small. I ordered a burger it was overdone (I ordered medium rare and it was medium well) and didn't have much flavor. The reviews online had been great and I was expecting more.
Excellent service and fantastic cocktails. I had a tasty Guinness rootbeer cocktail and the shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly. The calamari appetizer was a little dry, but the great service made up for it. The ambience was not as cozy as you would expect from an Irish bar, but you cannot beat the location and it was perfect for food and drinks before a show at Laugh, literally next door.
Good place to grab some drinks and apps. Came here with friends before a show at laugh. We had a great time, thank you!
Service and food were great
1st night in Boston .. was nice seated right away due to reservation that we had an open table… I will say the food was limited in the menu little difficult for son to find something that he enjoyed ...experience was nice ...price was great I would recommend it is attached to hotel so there were a lot of adults and fancy look like wedding entire
An overall great place. The service was awesome and the food was even better! You feel really good with the atmosphere. I highly recommend checking it out, nice place for a date!
Location is great when seeing a show at Laugh Boston, but the food really is sub par.
We had a big group with kids and Pats fans, and the woman who served us was amazing - she was patient, kind, and kept checking on us. Thank you!
It was a real pleasure eating at a restaurant in the Seaport area that was not crowded and had good food and service. I dined with 5 friends before the Jack O Lantern display at Commonwealth Hall and we were very pleased with our choice....only restaurant that could accommodate us that busy Saturday before Halloween night. It is off the beaten path but worth the extra walk.
Disappointed with the quality of food and menu selections. Worst lobster roll I ever had, onion soups were tasteless and desert selection poor.
great place for a birthday party. I was surprised at the soup menu i had a great vegan chill there, and a vegan burger both very good. I think that the vegan will be very happy with this IRSH pub place. I look forward to coming back sometime soon.
Great quick bite for parent weekend
Most of the food was pretty good, though not particularly inventive. The menu was bizarre for an Irish pub. Curry? Bok choy? It was missing all of the classics, and had some very strange additions.
Great place for business meals and casual get together
Nice setting for a Westin hotel restaurant. Food was tasty, but not gourmet.
First time eating here and it was very good. Food was delicious and the service was great.
Worst service I've had in a very long time. The wait time for the waitress to come and take our food order was extremely long. They gave us the wrong order twice and charged us for a meal that didn't even make it to our table. You would think that the waitress would excuse herself but all she said was "oh", luckily I wasn't the only customer that had a terrible experience at this restaurant today, the family next to our table had similar issues. The first and last time I'll be eating here.
Server was attentive during a business lunch hour. We sat next to the bar - noise level was acceptable.
Big portions! Fish and chips was great - lightly battered and cod.
The chicken tenders starter was large and appropriate for sharing.
Great lobster rolls and clam chowder!
Everything took a very long time. Drinks were good, food was fair, our server was friendly, and they were very flexible in terms of adjusting our reservation. The time it took to receive drinks and food, however, was exorbitant.
Went there for a quick bite while staying at the Westin. What a great decision. Clam chowder is excellent! Dinner was really good and deserts was fantastic!
Disappointed in the so-called buffalo drumettes. Never seen them made with legs. Almost choked on the leg vein. Should have said dark meat in the menu. Drumettes are usually the end second of a wing. Fish and chips was amazing though.
This restaurant is in the Marriott next to the Boston convention center. We were there for a graduation, and had down time between a morning ceremony and afternoon ceremony. I think they got hit with a blast of patrons all at once. Service was friendly enough, but a bit slow. Food was good, not memorable.it certainly was convenience to the convention center. I don't think I would go out of my way to eat there though.
