Food was good - waiter was average (and below average for the price paid)
Great, as always! Best restaurant in Denver.
Our favorite, never disappoints.
What happened to Mizuna? We were disappointed this weekend when both our entrees were served barely warm. The Halibut was beautifully seared, and apparently left sitting for quite a while before arriving at the table.
We have celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mizuna for 18 years, and this is the first time we wished we had gone elsewhere
Amazing service and delicious food! Celebrated my birthday and we were greeted with small pours of champagne and excellent service the entire evening!
Really great food and excellent atmosphere. I was there with my wife for our anniversary and we had a great time. It was really pricey but the food was amazing.
Food was excellent. Service was great. We ordered the beef Wellington and foie gras and it was both delicious and perfect portions. Extensive wine lists and knowledgeable staff. We’ll be going back, fo sure.
It's a small and quiet restaurant with just a few seats at the bar. The sommelier has a great knowledge of the large wine list and I found a nice 2011 Vosne-Romance that went well with our meal. The octopus appetizer was tender and delicious and my wife's foie gras quickly disappeared. The beef wellington was done perfect and the lobser mac n cheese was delicious. Our sevice person Zack was friendly and professional. Highly recommended this to everyone.
Excellent food, amazing and attentive staff. This place is a great place for a romantic date. Reccomend 100%
I took my niece to Mizuna for her birthday. We were greeted with a birthday wish, there was a “happy birthday “ card at our table and when we were seated, server brought glasses of Prosecco. These touches made the evening more celebratory and special.
You've no doubt noticed this isn't a cheap restaurant. The place service and quality of the food, I left feeling they could have easily charged more! It was that good. Treat yourself, relax knowing it will be special!
It was a big birthday, but Mizuna was up to the task. We went for the tasting menu. Absolutely sublime. It started with some kind of quail egg with foil gras that was warm on the outside and cool on the inside. Magical. Then beer cheese soup, then squid-ink pasta, then a huge, juicy scallop, then beef that melted in your mouth, then dessert of the gods, and white and dark chocolate truffles. Perfectly paced; not enormous but perfectly sized portions.
Mizuna would have one or two Michelin stars if it was not in Denver. The service, wine list, ambiance, and of course, the cuisine are just exceptional. Best special occasion restaurant in the mountain west. One of the best places to eat, anywhere.
Outstanding preparation of the dishes, with subtle nuances in the spices used to create unique flavors. Service was also excellent, with a great balance of polish and friendliness.
Service was attentive and excellent. The food was a bit over priced and we really didn’t enjoy the food. The portions were small and left us wanting more.
The fiddleheads were over cooked and really took away from the scallops. Both my date and I felt they were inedible.
We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation and the hostess went out of her way to
find a table for us. The service was exemplary, attentive, but not overbearing.
A short, but well thought out menu. Excellent wine list. We will go back.
Frank Bonnano does it right.
We went to celebrate our 41 Anniversary, they made it a wonderful experience...Thank you
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The only complaint is it's priced a bit high for the value. So it limits us to a much lower frequency.
The staff is great! They were spot on. Wouldn't change a thing.
And with parking being a nightmare in that part of town, having the valet is a necessity. They were really fast.
The way food, service and wine should be. Mizuna never disappoints and always exceeds expectations.
A first class establishment with highly knowledgeable staff, extensive wine list and food at its best.
Talk about a professionally run long term institution in Denver- It is “the best”
Celebrating a birthday at Mizuna made for a very memorable eve with friends.
We had celebrated our 10th anniversary at Mizuna and had such a wonderful experience. We never stopped talking about it. But we always like to try a variety of restaurants, either ones that we had never frequented or new ones. So we finally made it back to Mizuna for our 23rd wedding anniversary and the experience was equally exceptional. A wonderful waitstaff, awesome food and wine, and all aspects enhanced by such an intimate, elegant atmosphere. Again truly memorable. -- Terry and Dawn Hackett
We visited Mizuna for my wife's birthday and it could not have been better. From the pre-dinner coctails to the last sip of Espresso, we had a wonderful time. Our server was amazing as was the rest of the staff and it was easily the best dining experience (our food was ethereal) we have had in years. If you haven't been to Mizuna, you have been missing out...bigtime!
Mizuna has not lost its touch. Impeccable service, outstanding seasonal dishes (as well as my longtime favorite, the lobster mac and cheese), and well-curated wine list. It is easy to forget our old favorites with each new shiny thing to hit the restaurant scene. We will be going back, and soon. Highly recommend the asparagus appetizer - a wonderful taste of spring.
Food was fantastic, and waiter Zach was really pleasant. Would definitely recommended
Service was great. Very observertive.
Food was delicious and just the right amount.
Thankfully not too much on the plate, very European.
Overall very enjoyable.
Wonderful, wonderful overall dining experience. A must place to go for a special night out. The food, service and selections were terrific.
Excellent food, service, and an extensive wine list. Of course, the lobster mac&cheese is a must have staple for a visit to Mizuna. Our favorite eatery in Denver.
Great meal! Food is always superb.
Waiter was great. Very courteous.
Fabulous as always!
A truly outstanding dining experience, and some of the best service we've ever experienced! My sister and I landed in Denver after a truly terrible day of travel, and Mizuna took fabulous care of us, going so far as to keep the kitchen open late so we could get a full meal. The food was all amazing; unique, thoughtful dishes with unexpected ingredients, all cooked to perfection.
We loved it so much we came back before our trip to Denver was over, and experienced the same level of exemplary service, relaxing ambiance and truly memorable food. I would recommend Mizuna to anyone, whether you're only look for a good meal, or you're looking for a comprehensive dining experience!
Did the tasting menu with reserve wine pairings. Sat in wine room off main dining room at the 4-top in the corner. No better table - we were so happy. Food and wine did not disappoint at any point in the night! Also, portion size was spot on, in our opinion.
Best restaurant in Denver. Expensive and worth every penny!
We tried the tasting menu this time and it was amazing. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like at Mizuna. The staff is super knowledgeable and so nice!
Amazing. Best steak in all of Denver.....and I have been to a lot of them. WOW>
We're from TX and this is our go-to place in Denver. We always have the pre-fix with wine pairings. The food was and is always delicious. The wine pairing raised the bar of the meal. The service was wonderful, and quick. We enjoyed the 6 courses (full sized portions) and the dessert was to die for. They even sent us home a wonderful carrot cake in the box to take home in addition to the chocolate bon bon and dessert. Wow, quite an experience.
Great food, great service. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.
20 years wedding anniversary
the service was very friendly and very professional...food came out timely and was uniformly
excellent. expensive but worth the price
Food was good. Service and staff were excellent. Breading on green tomatoes was too heavy and to thick.
Our second visit to this wonderful place. Woody was our excellent server. Ryan, once again, chose the perfect wine that matched all our meals. The phesant, scallops, and triple lamb dish were knockouts. We were disappointed with the Ono fish dish and, after a second try the meal was taken off the check. Definitely one of the best restaurants i a have been to.
Run, don't walk to have the asparagus with truffles! TDF!
We had a great meal, beef Wellington and Ono. Flavor and quality great. Wine Master Ryan Graber was spot on.... Chefs did not look like they were enjoying their experience though ...I thanked them and clapped my hands as a thanks as I left , barely a smile !!! Lighten up chefs .
The service, the presentation and quality of our meal was exceptional. Which is always the case.
Mizuna is our special event restaurant and they always meet their very high standards....
