Waitress appeared to be new/ inexperienced. Took forever to get appetizers and the food wasn’t very warm by the time we got it. Had to stop another employee to inquire about our order and drink refills. On the understanding side… overwhelmed, inexperienced waitress and a busy Saturday night. Just not impressive for our friends joining us for their first time dining experience there. It’s unfortunate. My husband and I have always had a great experience normally.

Service was not very good but food was excellent. The Hong Kong wonton soup was delicious and we had some specialty rolls. The noise level was very loud but wasn’t as bad after sone diners had left. Overall very good food but service could be improved.

I’ve been here multiple times and have always loved everything. But this last time we went I’m pretty sure they forgot about our reservation because they sat us 4 people at the 10 person booth so it was a little awkward but still completely fine. Then we waited 15min it’s until our waitress finally came over. She then took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and gave my brother the wrong beer. When our food came, my dad was also given the wrong meal, so he had to wait another 15 minutes for his to be re made while he told us to eat so our food wouldn’t get cold. I also work at a restaurant and don’t usually complain and I’ll definitely be back at some point, but this was just a really weird dining experience and wasn’t exactly great.

Nice staff and great food. They need to recover their booth seats. The material has degraded and it looks unsightly. It takes away from the ambiance.

Very busy with a lot of confusion on reservations and online orders being taken care of at same time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Service at the table was great and server was very apologetic for any delays.

Always excellent food, service and ambiance. One of our favorites places in Excelsior. Wish they would use compostable straws and reusable chopsticks but otherwise perfect!

Our first visit here but we will be back. The ginger dressing on the salad was amazing! I had the tempura shrimp and vegetables, my wife had the vegetables/chicken with brown sauce. Both were delicious.

We were seated quickly but waited a while to be greeted by a waitress. Drinks ans apps came relatively quickly but entrees came at different times. We almost finished ours by the time sushi rolls came for another at our table. Had to actually get up and go ask the waitress where the other entree was. After that we were never approached the remainder of the night to inquire about the food or anything. We all ran out of water and were never asked about ordering another drink or anything. Food was marginal. Eventually had to. get up and ask for take home containers. Then had to put my coat on and walk to the front to ask for our bill. Hour and a half and the waitress came to our table 3 times total. Will never return and I suggest you go elsewhere as well. Horrible...zero tip and should have been comped on at least one meal.

My favorite place for sushi in Excelsior … servers are fantastic … they go above and beyond. The sushi is perfect and fresh every single time. Great place for celebrating or a casual lunch or dinner. I love that they’re open every day and for lunch.

Our waiter was excellent, sushi was so fresh! Very tasty! Love the spicy garlic edamame. We both tried the sake flights available. Great place! My husband loved the sushi roll with black rice.

I had never been there before. I wanted a place that was family owned and did not serve "chain style" sushi. Miyabi did not disappoint. My girlfriend and I ordered 3 different rolls. They were all different, served beautifully. I will definitely return.

Very clean restaurant! Food was great. Server, although nice, seemed new because he was very inattentive and did not return to our table, but was also not busy otherwise as restaurant was slow. But it did not impact our visit. Food and ambiance is great and we will definitely be back!

Sat at the bar and service was great. Sushi selections were plentiful - and when it came out, so fresh! The tuna and yellow nigiri was so good it melted in your mouth. Would definitely recommend this place.

The space is pretty nice, the high ceilings are not great for load echoing, which was an issue as the restaurant started to get busier. The service was pretty good, I asked to have a roll built a certain way and was assured it could be done as I ordered it but it was not built the way I had asked. The quality of our 4 entrees was plated nicely and very tasty. Our bill was as expected. I believe we will go here again and it is a pretty good place to dine. Pat

Food was great. Service was very slow. Must be short staffed- which sadly seems to be the norm. We still enjoyed our dinner and time together. We will keep coming back for the great sushi!

I was extremely dissapointed in the service we eat here a few times a year and it took over an hour to get our food. There were only about 10 tables full at the time. Then our sushi sat out on the counter for at least 15 min before we actually had it delivered to our table we just watched it sit out with no one grabbing it and bringing it to us. Food was just ok this time.
