Not getting downtown very much, this is a hidden gem in water tower. Highly recommend. Good food and service!
good basic place for dinner with modest prices, good service and good bar
Always such great food and impeccable service!
Used Open Table to make a late reservation. Got us seated quickly on a busy Sunday morning. The food was good and our server was very attentive, even though she was quite busy. This is part of a chain, but what's a trip to Chicago without a meal at one of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants?
I always have a great experience at Mity Nice. They have the best popovers! The menu is full of great comfort food options. Our server was top notch as well.
Very comfortable place, with quality food, and wonderful, friendly service. I am here 5-6 times per year from out of town, and will gladly return.
In my boyfriend one for Valentine's Day we had a wonderful meal we had brie with apricot jam and almonds on a Berry toast and we had crab cakes with 3 different sauces as our appetizer for the main course we had a filet trio and they also how the h*** a bit everything was wonderful we had cremera lay and we also had a chocolate mousse for dessert it was 45A person and came with 2 glasses of Campaign
Mity Nice has become our new neighborhood place after Frankie's closed. My friends and I love the Sunday rib special. Our server is also great.
A perfect lunch spot tucked away in the back of the mezzanine food floor at Water tower Place. Reminds me of a 40’s era restaurant. You wouldn’t know it was there if you didn’t know it was there. It’s hidden. Great salads, burgers and sandwiches. It’s been a lot of years since we’ve dined here. Glad we remembered it was still serving great food.
I really enjoyed the special brunch menu, and it was a bargain at $22 for drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Great food. Would definitely return.
Excellent dining experience! Will definitely be back
Favorite neighborhood restaurant. Always treated well and food is always good, fresh, served quickly, efficiently, great staff.
We ordered from the "restaurant week" menu and WOW! There was Plenty to choose from and the servings were large! I ate too much, but it was all very good! Great value!!
Great seafood salad
I eat here very regularly. Sometimes twice a day. I brought my mom for dinner and the whole thing was a cluster.
Good food and like the new brunch menu available on Saturday and Sunday. Get the chicken tenders and waffles
Good food, great service. Would happily go back. It’s a nice (Mity) little place to have a sit-down lunch at Water Tower.
My family frequently eats at Mity Nice, but it's been a while since we've written an Open Table review so here's a new one. Mity Nice is one of the best casual restaurants in Chicago: delicious comfort food, very reasonable prices, and an amazing set of managers and staff. I want to give a special shout out to the host, Antoine, who always makes us feel welcome, the managers Elise and Mike, and our most recent server Zach Z., each of whom performs at the highest levels. Mity Nice is exemplary in every category.
Food is wonderful Biscuits are warm and delicious. Love the deserts.
Mity Nice is consistently a very good option for a weekend brunch or lunch. Food is good--menu has a range of choices that are accommodating of different tastes. Water Tower is not my favorite location, but being tucked in the back makes the experience much better.
Popovers are a treat! Service is always spot on. I'm a fan of the salads--which you can order without meat if you prefer.
WOuld like regular comfort food lunch/dinner menu to begin at 1:00 on Saturday rather than at 3:00!
Some areas of room t very loud!
Had a pleasant experience due to the friendly and courteous waiter. The service was excellent.
Excellent as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! "............
Located in Water Tower Place on Michigan Av in downtown Chicago, Mity Nice is convenient. Menu is varied. We've been here several times, and each menu item we've tried has been prepared well. Server was attentive and friendly. The evening noise level was quiet enough that we could enjoy a comfortable conversation.
We dined at Mity Nice since Frankie's closed in the fall. The food was very good. They bring out these yummy popovers as a starter which are little bits of heavenly delight. Our meal consisted of tomato basil soup followed by the roast beef, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The meat was very tender, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the soup was delicious. I normally love brussel sprouts but these were very salty. We definitely will be back to Mity Nice for its comfort food and cozy atmosphere.
Cozy and kid friendly spot inside foodlife. It can get busy during lunch/dinner hours so always get a reservation. Lots of gluten free options for kids and they accommodate allergy substitution. We felt very welcome and our server was very accommodating.
Ate at Mity Nice Cafe before outing to see "Potted Potter." Would have like a bigger selection of lunch items. At 2 p.m. it was still a brunch menu. Food and service were good and cheese popovers was awesome.
Perfect choice! Stopped for dinner after show at Broadway Playhouse. Excellent food, great prices and very comfortable ambiance. Highly recommend it!
Disappointed after years of loving this place.
Server was weak. She hovered so much it was uncomfortable.
Hit with an extra food charge for lame (not homemade) chips when they didn't give enough for guacamole appetizer.
Ordinary dining and nothing notable. In Chicago there are 100 better restaurants.
