The service and food was fantastic as I remember. The atmosphere and clientele has chanced which made it no the usually experience when you’re Spending $300 on a meal for two. Other guest in their pjs, one guy was not even wearing a shirt! Not sure if we will be back, maybe when this pandemic is over and you can reinforce your old standards 🤷🏻♀️

I went for my birthday, they knew a head of time it was my birthday, but no acknowledgement. Food was decent, server was nice. We enjoyed the food, not a great value. Nothing to distinguish this from anywhere else.

Mitchell's is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The ambiance is superb, the quality of the food is second to none. My steak is always perfect. I am one of those "well done" patrons when it comes to steaks. My steak is consistently juicy and tender. The sides are enough to share. The servers are attentive, friendly and helpful. It is my go to restaurant in Columbus. It is open seven days a week, I love that.

First and last time going here, unfortunately. Really cool location and inside, but food was way overpriced for what you got. Steaks seemed smaller than 7 ounce, were not cooked properly, seemed like poor quality, and had hardly any crab for Oscar style. Brussels sprouts were incredibly hard, couldn't even finish them. Fries were overcooked and very salty. Server was nice but not super attentive.
I never write reviews, but this experience really upset me for such an expensive dinner. Maybe they are experiencing some troubles coming back from COVID, but I was really upset to have dropped $250 on that meal. It maybe would have been worth $100.
Happy to enjoy Mitchell’s! They haven’t been open long. Food was delicious. We felt safe and enjoyed our evening.

They do not know how to cook a steak properly. First steak was way overdone. Second steak was cold.
A welcome update to our experience! About 6 months ago we dropped MS as a regular pre-theater destination. Thigs just weren't up to par after two evening experiences. This week however, the old attentive service, great cocktails and expertly turned out meals were back -- and so are we! Happy to say we had a great time and dinner.
This is the second time in a row where they don't know how to cook a steak right. After the first time we decided to give them one more chance and they failed miserably. My wife had to send her step back twice. First time well overcooked, second time well undercooked. And while that was happening my steak was getting cold. For a steakhouse and the prices they charge you would think they would know how to properly cook a steak.
I wish I had good things to say about our experience, but beyond very friendly staff and a beautiful decor inside the restaurant, our experience was a disaster. Our two main food choices - chilled crab legs and miso-style sea bass - were served frozen and burnt respectively. The crab legs appeared to have been pulled directly from the ice pack shipment with no time to settle at the right temperature and unfortunately were inedible. The sea bass was so overcooked it was crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle, with burnt "asian style" vegetables underneath (the vegetables were standard garden-variety).
On top of that, the service was incredibly slow, so much so that drink orders were running about 10-15 min to be served and water glasses remained empty throughout.
We have had positive experiences in years past at this restaurant, but based on this experience will not be returning in the future.
The service was some of the worst I have ever received (and I once had a server who was fired during his shift).
The pacing of the meal was so terrible that I did not get to enjoy the experience or food.
I have worked in service all my life so I am very aware of what the standards should be, let me tell you this experience fell very short.
At one point after trying to 1) make eye contact and 2)vocally saying excuse me I actually tried to 3)wave my hands frantically in the air. Not only did my server never respond to me. Neither did anyone else in the establishment. I can't image that a woman waving her hands in the air is such a normal experience that no one notices it. But then again based on the lack of care an attention we experience maybe that is the norm.
At no point during our meal, or as we were leaving did anyone ask us how are experience was.
I cannot stress enough. Please do not waste your money. This might have been a good experience at one time, but those days have long since past.

It was busy, so with that I understood how slow everything was. It took at least 45 minutes for our main entrees to arrive. My steak was cold, which did not help the experience..
I have to say our group was very dissapointed at the service, starting from the host, to the bartenders. Our reservation was for 9:30 and we were seated at 11:00pm. The host advised we had to wait at the bar until we get called to sit because another group was seated at the table. Our table was ready and cleaned by 10:15 and we were still waiting. We approached the host three times to ask about the status of the table and kept on telling us the table was not ready when we noticed it was cleaned. When we went to the bar we were ignored multiple times from the bartenders. We attempted to order drinks and they kept on ignoring us or they would look at us and say we needed to wait. However, other customers kept on coming up to the bar and got drinks first than us when had already been there for quite some time. We felt really discriminated by the service provided because we were hispanic other customers from a different race were served ahead of us. When were finally seated the server mikael was very attentive and eased the situation for us but it was a very unpleasant experience for our whole group. The food also took 1 hr and 30 minutes to be served, our server had to push for our food to come out sooner and it was still delayed. For a group so large we should’ve never been treated this way, We have been to multiple locations and never felt the way we did that night. Worst Valentines dinner ever!!!!!
