   Unfortunately we had a leas than favorable experience here last night. First, the “upselling “ was obnoxious. our waitress not only started this from minute one with talking us into adding to our food order to the point that we finally said ok to a salad we really didn’t want, but then trying to sell us on getting promotional rewards card that required us to use our credit card to put $25 on it right then? And she started walking away before we could say no thank you but fortunately we caught her before she could complete that transaction. As we were signing the receipt she actually tried AGAIN to sell the program! On top of that my husband’s very expensive “bourbon ribeye “ had a weird sweet taste and was fatty to the point of barely edible. The brussel sprouts were oily and not crispy at all. The only good food was my 7oz filet- oh and the bread. Then both the waitress AND the manager began taking our plates away before we were done. Very obnoxious. The waitress was constantly bugging us about one thing or another- unable to read when to approach or not. Sorry to have to leave this review but it was a lot of money for a bad experience.

   The food was awful. We waited over 45 minutes for our entrees and no one came out to tell us they were cooked wrong and had to be re-cooked. Once they arrived the filet was burned on the outside and basically raw on the inside. They comped some of our meal but not the steaks.

   Went for our son's 20th birthday. Ordered a seafood tower, it was a bit disappointing for $99.00. 5 people at the table. One lobster tail cut in half. Two crab legs cut in half. Some oysters and tiger shrimp. There was no drawn butter for them. Crab Bisque soup was unremarkable. Lamb chops were good. Scallops with butternut risotto was good. Steaks were cooked as ordered which was great! The shareable sides were all good.

   We had a wonderful dinner last night while visiting town. The steak and seafood was done right and the service was attentive. The prices while not cheap were justified by the quality and service. I will certainly dine again if we are back in the area

   We made reservations for dinner before the Broadway series at 6:30. Our reservation was at 5pm and the restaurant was fairly empty. Our waiter didn’t take our order till 5:20 and we told him three times that we had to be out for a 6:30 show. Our salads came out quickly and we got drinks at the bar for the happy hour prices. However we then waited and waited for our food to come out. It was 6:15 before we got our food. Needless to say it’s impossible to eat hot food and be done in time to walk two blocks. We ended up getting to go containers and quickly eating some food. The waiter offered no explanation and actually asked us how dinner was. Very disappointed that all 6 of us missed the chance to eat in a relaxed fashion and also missed the first 10 minutes of the show.

   This was such an unexpected dinner at Mitchell’s Steakhouse. We ordered the fillet. I ordered a med rare that came well done. I think the wait staff helping our waiter confused the fillets. My friend ordered med and got med rare pushing rare. The waiter took my back and returned 25 minutes later with a medium steak. At that point I ate it. We had theater tickets and had to get our desserts to go. The service seemed unorganized. Then we received a surcharge for the to go desserts which could have come earlier. I was disappointed. I have never had a bad experience at any Cameron’s restaurant. Maybe it will improve but it will be awhile before I go back. It’s speciality is steaks and they couldn’t get it correct. Waiter was as helpful as possible

    Perfect dinner date. Felt like some entres took forever to get there but I get that it’s a proper dinner restaurant. Everything else was amazing though, service was 10/10.
