Great service. Swordfish was tasty and fresh. Stone crab claws were good. Should have been three or four claws for $20.00 not two.
The restaurant has nice ambiance, good food and outstanding service.
Family met for early Sunday dinner. Very pleasant. Great service! Child's dinner came out IMMEDIATELY! All starters, soup and entrees were prepared properly and arrived hot! The Shark's tooth dessert was a HIT! Good value for the family.
Very nice lunch. Good choices. Great dessert. Low noise level
Excellent food and service, and love the outdoor seating.
Katie was amazing behind the bar!! Really enjoyed the dining experience.
Everything was great and the service was fantastic! I believe our servers name was Tom and he took great care of us!
We were sat in a booth where we waited 15 minutes until we saw the manager walk by us to stop him to ask about our server. It turns out the server that walked by us twice during that time was our server. The resolved the experience and the manager did a great job. Our server did his job but didn’t go above. The food was okay and it’s been that way for the past four times we have gone there. Trying new dishes each time. It used to be food but the flavors have become more bland and lifeless. Our friends have it another try and just won’t go anymore.
Service and food great as usual. Server was very attentive
Service was fair at best. We sat outside and I believe that maybe they were short on staff.
Excellent service, one of the best waiters I've had in years.
This was my first visit. It coincided with Orlando Magical Dining. My friend and I both had the Seafood Paella. It was delicious, very flavorful and had several different varieties of seafood. Before the main course we had a Caesar Salad. It was fresh and crispy. For dessert I had the crème brulee. I enjoyed it. It was topped off with fresh blackberries and raspberries which were quite refreshing. I'll definitely go back.
Attentive service, great food cooked to perfection and quiet atmosphere, for good conversation.
Very good food, good service, and atmosphere. Our lobster mac came out later than our other food which was a bit disappointing but when it came it was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend.
Very disappointed, expensive tasteless meal
We’ve eaten there before and really enjoyed it. This time we had a new server who wasn’t familiar with the menu and the dinner was lukewarm when served.
Service and food missed the mark for me and our family. Everything was adequate but was expecting more from previous reviews.
Our overall experience was sub par, and considering how expensive the meal was, this was unacceptable. Our waitress took forever to get our drinks, ask for our appetizer or dinner order, etc. My friend ordered a salad off the gluten free dinner menu and was told they couldn't make it due to being a lunch item...even though it was listed on the dinner menu. Then my meal came without the scallops since the chef didn't prepare them properly. After being told they'd be right out, they never came. I finished my whole meal before I asked the waitress about my missing scallops again, just for her to say she didn't realize they were missing. Once they brought out the scallops, there were only 3 without any seasoning or sauce to go with my meal...just plain scallops. Now onto dessert, we were looking forward to the creme brulee, but guess what, they're out. We ended up not getting dessert and were very unhappy with our experience. They did comp my entree due to the scallops issue, but we won't be coming back again.
Not a great experience this time for magical dining.
Another wonderful meal at Mitchells Winter Park!
Went for my husband's birthday. Our menus had a personalized Happy Birthday on the top. Great choices on the menu and the food was very good. Nice atmosphere, good wine list and server was friendly and attentive. Enjoyable dining experience!
The service was great, but the food was sub-par. The house salad was drowning in the house dressing. I ordered the Seafood Paella since it a seafood restaurant, bad choice. The presentation looked good, but when I took my first bite it was very gritty. The clams were not properly rinsed of dirt and sand. I had a few more bites and I could not eat anymore. I explained to server and with in minutes the manager came over and was very apologetic and wanted to fix the situation. I said it was not necessary and just tell the kitchen to properly rinse shellfish for the next customer. Too bad I was very excited to try this Winter Park Village restaurant, and was let down.
The food was excellent. The service, I thought, was rushed and seemed to be more involved with table turnover than with service. The valet was awful, especially in the rain. He left our car across the street with the drivers door open into traffic. With only one othe table in use when we arrived we were placed at the service entrance to the outside tables. Very busy in and out. If it weren't for the excellent food, this would have been a one star visit.
My wife's Salmon, scallops and shrimp along with the brad were over cooked. You could have broken a tooth on the bread it was so hard. On the other hand the Carrot cake was under baked and th3 coffee under brewed (dishwater). The waiter never checked back to see how the food was nor did the manager who visited only certain tables. Not worth the price even though the menu has possibilities,
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, the service was excellent and the food was also delicious, with one exception, my wife ordered the grilled salmon, which by the way was delicious, she said, but extremely spicy. Though the menu did not especified. Good thing she likes spicy food.
The waiter was very understanding when we told him and offered to exchange it.
Anyway, what we suggested was to let others know how spicy the dish is, or print it in the menu.
All things considered, we will return in the near future.
Our server Jesse did a wonderful job serving our family of eight. The appetizers were delicious. The new England chowder wasn't very good-not creamy. Main courses-parm chicken, trout, and stuffed cod very good. Fisherman's platter could have had more shrimp and scallops and less fish. Overall we had a wonderful experience.
We ate at Mitchells during the Magical Dining event and they didn't limit the menu choices to something not desirable. Good choices, good service. We ate outside and the fans made the August weather very tolerable. The seating outside was a little uncomfortable.
Terrible! Food was cold. Service was slow, fish wasn't fresh and meals not prepared as asked for.
Bad evening for dinner at Mitchell's.... several entrees were served after most of our party had already eaten theirs; inedible ribeye streak; bad filet; cold food. Removing one entrée from our bill did not quite make up for our horrible dinner experience. We will not be returning any time soon.
We go here often for good food and service. We were actually here twice this week.
Good food good service
Great happy hours prices and food specials
Enjoyed an excellent happy hour with drinks and apps. Very good new server named Vincent. Thanks for making our evening great!
Love your Happy Hour specials!
We had reservations on a Monday night. Restaurant was not full, yet the service was horrible. The waiter got our order wrong, we didn't get any refills. We had to waive someone just to check out. Food was okay, but expensive. Red Lobster restaurant food taste much better. I would never go back or recommend Mitchell's Fish Market.
Excellent dinner tonight! Sean was our server and we were very pleased. He did a great job! Sea bass and Salmon was amazing! Thank you
I had not been in a long time so my husband and I went for date night. Our server was very sweet and had just started.
My husbands beer was super foamy and it seemed they did not know how to pour a Guinness. He waited and waited for them to come back with another one... It was vet random..
Our wedge salad had a small stripe of dressing and a sprinkle of bacon bits .. And I had to ask for a knife to cut it.
Our meals were so disappointing
We ordered a side dish of asparagus with a hollandaise it arrived looking like a gross mess and there was no sauce on the dish.
The meal portions were so small for the price you pay and looked skimpy and sad.
My husbands fish was overlooked.
the couple in front of us decided to just leave and the other couple did not want to miss there movie as their food was taking too long.
Despite them taking off the beer and the asparagus the meal was still $80 dollars it was a truly disheartening experience and we won't be back as I don't see this place staying around in the village much longer ... what a shame..
For what we paid we expected a much better experience ....
Celebrated my birthday with a few friends. Very enjoyable
Stopped in for a farewell diner for our Nephew. One of his favorite places. Our Waitress Haylee was excellent. The food was tasty and served hot. very flavorful meals.
Was trying a new restaurant and things didn't go so great. Service was slow, however the waiter was nice and informative. The bread they serve to you as you wait was very hard and tasted odd, the butter cream for the bread was off putting taste wise. The meals them selves were very small for the prices and didn't taste that good. For example, I got the cedar salmon and it had way to much balsamic vinegar on it. Over all I'd say if your going to try this place, make sure to do it on a Friday or Saturday. Sundays are not their best.
