Great place for a seafood lunch. Good selection, nice atmosphere, attentive service.
No wait. Our server, Kayley (sp?) was awesome! Super patient with my mom who has dementia, but knows what she wants. Lol! Made excellent suggestions and made accommodations for my mom. Overall great experience.
Great fish dinner and the service was great. Highly recommended.
We ordered the tuna appetizer but sent it back. It looked wonderful but had a very fishy taste. We usually love tuna but this was disappointing. Entree was good. House salad nothing special. It was an ok experience
The meal was just OK, nothing special. The soup was almost warm, but certainly not what you would expect with regard to temperature. The main course was a disappointing and rather bland. I doubt that I will return.
Mitchell’s is one of the cities best kept secret. It is always quiet when we are there and the food is always amazing. I love how large the portions are compared to some of the other seafood restaurants.
Ordered the Frutti di Mare. Sauce was watery, like they didn't drain the pasta which was a bit overcooked. Disappointing visit....
Completely mismanaged, nice server but kitchen timing and quality of food was a joke.
Food was not very good
The hostess told us to seat ourselves and she would be right behind us but never came. 10 minutes later we still hadn’t gotten the menu. I asked her for some and she said she would let our waiter know. After another 10 minutes we left.
09/05. Ate outside on a perfect night.
Service was awful and they weren’t even busy for a Saturday night!
Wonderful family lunch....great food...excellent service and outstanding prices
We have been to Mitchell’s several times. The food is always great, but our service was awful. We asked to sit outside because of the nice weather and waited a good 10 minutes to put in our drink order. We barely saw our waitress the entire time except to bring one round of drinks and food
Very good service and great food
Not satisfied with our experience. Requested table for 12...was told it wasn’t available. Instead got 2 tables...one for 8 & a table for 4. Over half the restaurant was empty & my party was forced to dine separately. Great way to spend our we’d anniversary. Probably not coming back.
Enjoyed the evening overall - the outdoor patio as perfect, the food was fresh and service was great. Very friendly and attentive server. I was just disappointed that there were no vegetarian options. My family eats meat and fish, I do not. I had hoped there would be some options for those of us with families with mixed diets. I had a choice between sides or ordering fish. Neither was ideal. Please put something on the menu for us :)
Our server was pleasant and efficient. The fish was cooked perfectly and served hot. Thank you!
The food was great, especially the Chilean sea bass. The service was also great. We had a lovely experience.
Courteous, efficient server. Full menu to choose from. Would definitely return
One of us had the calamari appetizer and the other had the Salmon Florentine...both were delicious! Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. Will be going back soon.
Sat on the patio. It was a beautiful day. The kitchen seemed a little slow, but our meal was very good. Jen was a Very pleasant and attentive server.
Everything was great. We had a wonderful time.
Paul was a great server!
The shark fin dessert was frozen so hard, we asked for a steak knife & fork. It was a while before we could break off a piece to eat! We will not order that again,
The menu was limited because it was Father’s Day, but the manager arranged for me to get what I usually order. I guess the cooks did not appreciate that.... my food was bland no seasoning whatsoever.
Service was good. They seem to be having consistency issues with the kitchen staff but management very customer-focused with desire to ensure positive experience for the customer.
The appetizer and soup were really good but the entree was not. It was not bad, but definitely not the excellent quality we were expecting, especially for the price. There other other places with better, more consistently good food for less. Very disappointing, we will not be back.
This place is terrible! Dirty, raw food, poor management, overpriced and nasty. Open table should review this business because not only is it negatively affecting the Landry brand, but open table as well. You have better choices in area- highly advise you use any. If you desire seafood- eat n park serves the same quality ingredients in a cleaner friendlier setting for 1/3 the price.
Michell’s is consistently good, high quality food without pretensions and at reasonable prices. Will also adjust to suit your needs and your wishes. Pleasant staff. Weather permitting you can eat outside with view of the river.
Relaxing atmosphere and great service
It was nice, the food was decent as well. Service on this night was great.
Our go to place when we are in the area. Here for 10 days to work and will probably eat at Mitchell’s at least 3 times. Food is good, especially seafood, varied, presented nicely. Everyone is friendly. Also very nice location, right by the river. *
My fish and chips were cold. My wife’s mashed potatoes were cold. My son’s meal came 10 minutes after everyone else had been served.
Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great

Having dined at Mitchells in CLE and TPA, PIT was the worst. This was our second time at this location and it does not meet the standards of this chain. The shrimp and scallops were old and rubbery. The sea bass portion was small and sub-par. The waitress was not very attentive and only checked our table once or twice despite being a slow time on a Saturday evening. I do not usually give a bad rating as I try to find something good in every dining experience, but unfortunately this was not possible.
