Didn't have at least five things that we asked for. Simple things like pelligrino, lemons, asparagus. Food was good, but for a fine dining restaurant we wouln't expect them not to
have simple items.

All was fine except I had mentioned several times that the couple we were with was celebrating their anniversary, I even had it in notes on open table.
The restaurant did nothing, that was a bIt upsetting.

Anniversary out together...
Mitchell’s has been one of our favorites, but this evening it was off...staff was preoccupied, service was slow and inattentive, at least a dozen staff overheard talking about the new managers preference toward a friend they hired getting better shifts and not doing good work yet getting preferential treatment...

We were very disappointed!

Experience was great, minus the grit left in the oysters and scallops. Both were over- sandy on the tongue, but the taste made up for it for the most part. Server was very sweet and patient with us, which is already preferred visiting another state.

Unfortunately my wife's meal was on the cold side, dd not come out hot. And when they tried to correct it, they just put in a broiler to heat and that just made the seafood worse. My daughter is a veegan and her order was made with bacon fat. Even my meal was not on the hot side but was doable. We probably will not come back.

I will say the Manager on staff was attentive to our needs and comped both meals and a drink. Just seems like Mitchell's has an issue with getting food out timely.

Overall everything was good. The one complaint that I would have is that we had to ask for beverage refills. I don't feel we should have to ask. Other than that we were pleased.

Calamari very bland. Grilled mahi was good but vegetable side and potatoes very blah. If not for the yummy sour dough bread, I would have left hungry.

Pre-Show (Andre Bocelli concert) dinner on Valentine's Day. Greeted quickly and politely at the door. Waitress Corina was courteous and prompt. Ordered the Perfect Pair (Stuffed Lobster and Shrimp) and Twin Lobster Tails. Both were served hot and accompanied with signature smashed potatoes and fresh asparagus. Enjoyed our dinner. Usually come just for the fresh oysters.

Party of 7 for my dads 82 birthday. I let them know ahead of time - nothing special was offered. Food was sub-standard, service was fair, food was terible.

Nothing Special here. Had dinner with some friends. Every aspect of the experience just seemed average/good but not very good or great. Maybe I should have ordered some oysters.

Waitress forgot to bring bread until the end of the meal. Never offered a refill on cocktails. Seemed distracted.

This was not up to my expectations of a Landry’s restaurant. Was embarrassed in front of my client as we sipped our waters.

Service was okay, nothing spectacular. Lobster tilapia Oscar did not appear to be how it was described by server, did not come with hollandaise sauce but a red sauce. Little disappointing.

We eat dinner often at Mitchell’s and it is usually great! Brunch, however, was not. Eggs for Eggs Benedict (both orders) were hard-cooked, not poached. Shrimp and scallops were over cooked and tough. Service was great as usual, manager is a really nice, friendly person. So maybe they just need a new cook! Not sure we will do brunch there again ... :(

We ended up sitting At the bar after being sat in between 2 families with young children. There was plenty of available tables however they sat us elbow distance from the others. Once at the bar, we enjoyed oysters, amazing pecan trout and some cocktails. Great service.

This was our first visit to this Mitchell's. We opted for a booth in the bar area so we could watch the "football" game on TV. Service was professional & courteous.

We weren't that hungry so we split a Chilean Sea Bass (always one of my favorites). Our meal came out on two separate plates (each w/our own ordered veggie). The fish was a bit salty. The veggies even more so. We did mention this to the server who said she would mention this to the chef.

When we asked for the check, she offered a dessert on the house due to our meal "hiccup". We bowed out of having dessert but thanked her anyways for the offer.

Have been to Mitchell's before with much better results. Calamari was good, Seabass was okay but not as good as on other trips, scallops with duck confit hash was either a very poorly conceived or very poorly executed dish. Hash did not look like any hash I've ever had, and came out stone-cold the first time. Thinking that going on Sunday night and sitting in the bar is not the place to be. Did not hold up to the excellence I've experienced doing other trips there.
