One of our guests ordered lobster they were out then ordered talipa they were out our waiter should have know this before he too our order
Also fantastic. Fish fresh and cooked to perfection. Service great.
Salmon on blank was over cooked scallops were over cooked and so were shrimp, the chicken in parmacian chicken plate was also over cooked 2 out of 5 stars
Fantastic food and service! Been coming here for several years and it's always great!
Perfect place with delicious oysters and mussels. And our waiter Eugeniy was super nice! Best service in gulf coast! 👍👍👍
Food was great. Drinks were mediocre olives were terrible
Always consistently good and fresh seafood and place we have to go to every time we are in Destin.
Food was absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl and the Herb Crusted Cod... Delicious food all around. This was the perfect spot for our date!
Enjoyed the Twin Tails Labor Day Weekend special. Great meal for a great price!
Had an early meal before an event and was once again delighted by our experience here. This has quickly become our go to restaurant in the area
Great experience thank you!!!! From front hostess, server and chef....everyone had positive attitudes and were helpful in every way.
Yevhen was our waiter. He is originally from the Ukraine and studying construction engineering. He was excellent!! I highly recommend requesting him when you make your reservation. He made us feel special and accommodated all of our requests.
The meal was very good. I have eaten at other Mitchell's Seafood restaurants. I would recommend that this restaurant highlight more local fish due to its excellent access.
expensive, cold king crab legs & an overcooked steak... and it took 30 minutes to get all of this when there were only 3 tables!!
The food and service were both horrendous. Would never go back.
Great experience overall. Food was awesome Blackened cod, stuffed cod, kids meals.... everything was awesome.
We had a party of 8 on a Saturday night and the service was actually quite good. Two of us ordered the same dish and agreed later that the shrimp and the scallops were overdone. Very surprising for this "Fish Market" specialty restaurant. I'd probably rather all of the food come out separately than to come out together and some of it be over cooked. We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl was delighted with her meal and dessert.
Fantastic food, courteous service. Very nice evening.
Our dinner was fabulous. It was my birthday and our menus actually had "Happy Birthday Cherie" at the top which I promptly ask the chef to sign. And he did. Everything we had was outstanding including our drinks.
Dined as a celebration of my anniversary. The service was good; however food was awful. Nice atmosphere, great service, good drinks, but terrible food.
I took some people there for a business dinner looking for some good, local seafood. Mitchell's is a very nice place, but it isn't local and it's not what one would call a "fish market" in North Florida.
They did have grouper, a beloved Gulf fish on the menu along with selections from other parts of the world, such as sea bass. They also have flounder, another fish found in the area and it was served with crab stuffing- very good.
All in all, it wasn't a bad place for a nice business dinner. They had an extensive list of unique cocktails and a big wine list. Our server was very capable, reminding me of a waiter in a fine steakhouse. That's the style of the place it is and it worked for us. But if you are looking for a seafood place to enjoy local seafood, this isn't it.
I was excited to come here as the menu looked great. Unfortunately it was not! Mediocre food, inexperienced wait staff. Another example of a lousy Landry's restaurant.
Appetizers were very good. Enjoyed the cocktail of the day. Waiter very knowledgeable on the menu and the specials. Temperature a little on the warm side inside and there was a fairly strong fish smell that all commented on in the party. Found the sea bass somewhat strong and when I brought this up to the waiter, his response was simply that it was a stronger fish. No offer for an alternate entree, etc. overall experience was average which I would have hoped for more given above average price point.
Overpriced, the quality of the food doesn't match the price. Several of the fish dishes were overcooked. Really disappointing.
We came for some good local seafood and that is what we got! We had a dozen oysters and then a couple of platters. The batter on the fish and chips was so light that it melted in your mouth!
Prices are on the higher side but the restaurant is in a great location, surrounded by shops and entertainment, so it's worth it.
Service was very good and the atmosphere was nice while not being stuffy. Very friendly.
I would go again when next in the area.
We had a party of 8 so we were put into a small room -alone. It was a bit too warm. The staff adjusted the temperature for us but it was still a touch too warm. The waiter seemed to rush us along. We had a special needs teenager and a child in our group so we needed a bit more time to look over the menu and make selections to accommodate their selections than a table of all adults would have needed. The waiter rushed us through ordering. My husband had to step outside the room several times to get more drinks. We were a bit neglected being out of the main dining room. The food was excellent. We have eaten here several times before and this was the only time I've had a complaint. Maybe it was due to the location of our table.
Table and booth were sticky and had to be recleaned after we were seated. Restaurant did not smell good.
Our server was abrupt and a bit pushy. Our group of four felt very rushed. About the food. Marginal. Fish was over cooked, veggies were undercooked. As far BBQ shrimp...dumping BBQ sauce on cooked shrimp does not qualify as BBQ shrimp and it was not bacon wrapped as described.
None of us would recommend. Very disappointing dining experience .
Great food. Great service. Very enjoyable experience.
I thought it would be local seafood but it is a dressed up landrys
The "blackened" grouper was extremely underseasoned and looked as if I came off a steam table instead of being cooked to order.
