Mitchell's Fish Market is open daily for lunch and dinner. Our menu is printed twice daily to reflect our obsession with fresh seafood. Mitchell's Fish Market is open for lunch, Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We are open for dinner Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

I met friends for lunch and it was not very busy so the noise was minimal. Our waiter Rick was excellent!!

We had made a reservation and we initially sat near the kitchen which was loud....we were move to a much better table and wondered why we were not put there in the first place. Also, I had requested that my king crab legs be cut done the middle and they were not and I had to send them back. Overall, Mitchell's has good seafood.

We went to Mitchell's for a pre-Valentine's Day celebration. Service was outstanding, as was the attentiveness of the manager. Carlos, our waitperson, heard me questioning the use of the Birthday points reward (Landry Select Club Card) with the hostess, and when he realized we were his table, sent the manager over to answer my question. In addition, he was very considerate of the time we requested to have a glass of wine, appetizer, and talk for awhile before dinner. His timing was perfect when he came back to take our order, which was served quickly and hot. We enjoy having a good meal in a nice atmosphere, with friendly wait staff. It was a lovely way to celebrate Valentine's Day. Highly Recommend Mitchell's in Rochester!

Not great anymore. We have been here twice since Nov and it's not what it used to be - a high end steakhouse with good food and pro service.

First, we had a couple of drinks at the bar before our 6.30 reservation. The bar was about half full and there were 2 bartenders working the bar. We had to flag down a bartender to order a second drink. They stood with their backs to us without following up if we wanted to order anything more. The couple next to us ordered food and it was brought but they were not given silverware - they had to ask. The lady had old lipstick (not hers) on her champagne flute. When we wanted to cash out the bar tab we waited at least another 5-6 minutes with neither of the bartenders acknowledging us. We then had to wait another 5 minutes for the manager to process the rewards car but they never swiped my credit card so I had to hand it back again.

For dinner two times now at peak dinner hour we have had to ask for bread. The servers here do not ask anymore if we want bread or just bring it to the table. I asked for bread and it took at least 10-12 minutes as they were baking fresh bread. Again this was 6.30 on a Thursday night so why is it not ready ahead of time? I was done with the appetizer before the bread arrived. For main meal I ordered the Filet (cooked medium) it came out and I could tell immediately it was overcooked as it was charred on top. Sure enough when I sliced it open it was well done and very dry. The server agreed and took it back. Then two separate dining room managers asked how our meals were? My Mom was done with her meal, but I was still waiting for my new filet to be cooked. While waiting I observed a server juggling lemons at the bar with 3-4 other servers standing around doing nothing. The second filet was better, but then the asparagus was half cooked and they forgot the hollandaise (which was provided on the first plate). They did comp my meal, but overall it was not a great experience.

Great atmosphere inside restaurant. Cozy but elegant. Food is really tasty. We were there to celebrate anniversary for two, it’s just perfect!
