Food didn’t taste good and took forever to get drinks. Anniversary dinner too, which made it worse. Will never go back.
We eat here all the time and the service is usually better, but 17 min to get drinks, an hour and ten minutes to get food, and 25 minutes to cash out after we were clearly done eating... that's unacceptable. And it wasn't just our table, yet the manager left the restaurant in the middle of all the chaos rather than getting involved and trying to steer the ship.
It was disappointing to say the least.
Service extremely slow.
Our waiter was knowledgeable and made selecting food fun. The meal was delicious and dessert was sublime!
Great service excellent food and fair pricing. Highly recommended
We had an outstanding professional young waitress that added to the enjoyment. Food and wine selection was good, considering the circumstances. The food preparation, presentation and taste was great! We plan to return soon with an even larger group.
Loved our waiter David!
The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. Great key lime pie.
I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. However, I felt rushed by waiter.
Although there were many empty tables/booths in the restaurant, the waiter pushed us to order and couldn’t wait for us to pay although we would have liked to stay a bit longer and may have even ordered something else
Good as always, good food and good service to go for dinner with the family.
Had a great two meals at Mitchell's - kitchen was slow, but food was great. Server - David - was outstanding ! Enjoyed the overall experience. Got a dessert "comped" to make up for the slow kitchen.
Great dinner on their patio! Had the twin lobster tails, cooked to perfection. Our server, Grace, was busy, but kept everything timely. She was very courteous and efficient. The entire staff was courteous and lighthearted. It was a lovely evening - enjoyed it very much!!!
Food is good, served hot, resented well and portions are plentiful.
The restaurant had an awful sewage smell. I wish we would have chose to sit outside.
Had a reservation, but doors were locked and was not able to enter restaurant upon arrival. After knocking on multiple doors, the Manager finally opened the door and did not seem to be happy that I was there. Further, when I approached the host stand, the host rolled his eyes and the waitress was clearly not thrilled to see me. Keep in mind, I had a reservation. I’ve received poor service from this location previously, but after this experience, I will not be dining here again. I promptly left and had a fantastic meal at The Park 600 where I was welcomed and my business was appreciated.
20 minutes to get a glass of wine--appetizer finished long before it came
Chilean Sea Bass was excellent and I’m not a big fish guy! Very tasty!
Service was slow since they are understaffed! Took long time for drinks to arrive!
Waiter was very knowledgeable with menu!
Suffering from not enough help like most restaurants
We just picked up some groceries and wanted to get home a.s.a.p. Once James knew, he expedited an appetizer of Fish Tacos and Cedar Plank Salmon, both of which were EXCELLENT.
We tried their two Happy Hour Cabs - Hayes Ranch and a step up to 14 Hands. The nod went to 14 Hands.
We have been here before and it was really good however this visit wasn’t that great, we are contributing it to short staff from the current situation. Drinks not good and food was just ok.
Great meal. We sat on the patio. My only suggestion is to have umbrellas on more tables. The setting sun shines right on the patio leaving no shade
The “Shrimp Bowl” special was fabulous AND generous. Ate heartily and took half of it home. Nice to eat outside. Not very fancy, but hidden among the bushes and very pleasant.
They had delicious goodies! Their fish was awesome the night we were there! Had a petite filet that was cooked to perfection. And the desserts were incredible. Their carrot cake is one of the best and is a meal in itself. I would recommend Mitchell’s to anyone without reservation!
Everything was wonderful. We went to the Livonia Location by mistake. Brenda, at the Livonia location was incredible. She took care of us and also contacted Rochester and told them the problem and had out reservation and points transferred. Well above and beyond any service we have had in a long time. Cheers for Brenda.
Salad too small. Had to ask for proper utensils bread and only 1 piece of lemon for 1.5#crabs. Wait staff Only asked one time for additional beverage and that was after dinner completed.
Food was great was able to get to our table quickly. Service was a little longer then I would like but given the state of the food industry it was we have been expecting. I would go back.
The restaurant like many was understaffed. Our server never stopped moving. It showed.
Excellent food. The servers did the best they could with as little as they had. The floors and bathrooms needed to be cleaner though.
Place has gone completely downhill post COVID. Would rather eat at McDonald’s. Horrible service and food.
Food was amazing. Servers were very polite, friendly, and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience. Great for a special occasion, but would not eat here every day because It was a little pricey, depending on what you get.
Excellent service by our superb waiter. He
was attentive, knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant.
Loved celebrating our anniversary there and enjoyed the food!
Terrible atmosphere, food was tasteless and way overpriced. Waitress was nice but restaurant smelled like a stale, dirty, beer floor and they were out of food. We will never go back.
The family had not been in a while and wow was it great to get back there! Service was phenomenal! Thanks
Booked an out of town reservation to celebrate an anniversary with a party of 7. Called ahead to see if we could come early. Was told yes, but when we arrived the table was not set up. The server did the best he could. He seemed to have too many tables and the entire restaurant seemed understaffed. Bar items were delayed at not only our table but those around us. Food was great overall. Service could have been more attentive.
We enjoy Mitchell's; the food is always good and the management works the floor well, following up on your overall satisfaction.
James gave a great suggestions for changing up our typical dishes. Food was great.
Our waiter David was very pleasant and wonderful suggestions for our lunch choices.
Post ? COVID is showing really hard with restaurants. So I’m not taking this to heart. But my food was either over done or just plain not good. Again not taking this to heart it took us asking again after our meal for our water to come. The food took a while but we weren’t bothered. We were tired from moving all day and just need some dinner. Will try again maybe after they get a fuller staff.
