It was very nice

Service was very slow, from drinks to food. Restaurant was not busy by any means. Wife ordered the seared scallops and they were way overcooked. Had to send it back which essentially ruined the experience as I was done eating by the time her entree came out. It has been awhile since we have to Mitchell’s and will probably be awhile till we return again.

Our waitress was very good and overall the dining experience excellent.

Terrible service managers did not make people wear masks as they walked around the restaurant and seemed scared to call people out.

We had a wonderful dinner and our server was very friendly. It did take a little longer to get drinks, but we were in no rush. The meal was outstanding, even the left-over the next day were fantastic!

Mitchell's was the first place I wanted to go back to after the pandemic. I was dreaming of a Market Margarita and spicy shrimp. I got the margarita, from a sassy bartender. They had a limited menu, so no shrimp, but the food was great. The bartender was not happy to be back to work and seeing people. In fact, he disparaged the guests from the night before. Less than mediocre service from him.

First time here. It was fantastic. We got seated right away. The waiter was efficient, quick & answered all our questions. The food was delicious.

This was the first ever unsatisfying experience at Mitchell’s. Waitress was very good but all food arrived cold. Also the food wasn’t up to the usual Mitchell’s standards. We were very disappointed. This was our first experience at this particular restaurant and we are not likely to return.

My salmon cooked Shanghai style was fabulous! Perfectly done and so good!! We had a quiet booth and a great evening there with excellent service. Will definitely go back soon.

Jerry our waiter was excellent. He was right on top of our order and refills. Great happy hour.

We had a wonderful experience for dinner on a Sunday afternoon with family. Food was excellent and the location of our table was outstanding, by a window, but a nice heat vent in the ceiling for warmth on a cold winter day. The servers were very attentive and we never felt rushed.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. There was another waitress who was helping her bring out our apps who was very rude to our table.
But otherwise, everything was great and we truly appreciated our waitress. She constantly checked up on us and made sure our drinks were always full.

Our dining experience was quite exceptionally satisfying! The food was spectacular and only surpassed by the superior service provided by our server Ryan and his manager. They were both extremely accommodating and attentive. Ryan was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and personable.

Prompt service but not too pushy. Good menu all the way around. In and out in time for show at Meadowbrook. Would like more variety in bread/rolls/breadsticks for those of us that are not big fans of sourdough.

I've never included "integrity" and "Reputable" in any review, so this is another first.
Due to a mix-up of two gift cards used to pay for a prior dinner visit, I was surprised that a card in my possession that should have had a considerable remaining balance had none, when I tried to pay the bill on a subsequent visit.
The more I thought about how this could happen, the more I wondered who took advantage of the remainder on the card.
On our next visit, I asked the manager, Haley, if she could investigate. We were both surprised that the card I still had was inadvertently given back and the one with a balance was discarded. She confirmed through her card services team how much should be on it and is holding it for our next trip to Mitchell's. Bravo!!!

Dinner was just adequate. Service was very good.

Ashley was a helpful, attentive server. However, the speed of the food coming from the kitchen was very slow. It took nearly 45 minutes just to get appetizers, one of which was simply a trio of cold salsa, cubed avocados and guacamole! Our dinner of two entrees took another 30 minutes to arrive, so our dinner for two took nearly 2 hours with no management coming to check on us. Disappointed, since the service speed and Happy hour choices used to be better. We might not renew our Landry dining membership due to these disappointments.

It was a family dinner date...All enjoyed the food, and ambiance. Arrived on time and were seated immediately. Will return.

We had a great meal. It was very busy because of the Valentine’s Day celebration. My stuffed flounder was a generous portion but quite garlicky. The salad my husband ordered came out with his entree. He loved his dinner and the salad was very good. Our server was friendly and had a nice personality. We will definitely return!

Valentine’s Day

From a warm greeting, to being seated promptly for our reservation, to great service and wonderful cuisine, we enjoyed our dinnere very much; the food was excellent. Thank you.

My husband brought me here for Valentines Day! The food and drinks were very good!

The problem with Mitchell's is CONSISTENCY. Used to be one of our hands down favorites - but they lost something in terms of consistently good product / presentation / service. After a years break, we gave them another try about 6 months ago and it was good . . . and we have been a few times since and always pretty good. Friday night was the reason we left in the first place. You are a FISH MARKET therefore should be able to cook fish well. Sea bass came out and you couldn't even cut through it (over cooked / under cooked??? The stuff normally falls apart). Stuffed salmon was a wet mess - disgusting. Server SUCKED . . . we brought our own wine, special occassion, high end wine. She brought us 2 glasses and put them on the table - TRUE STORY. The manager came over, offered 'desserts on them'. Guess what - they were on the bill when we paid. Just wanted to get out there so I never have to go back.

It's hit and miss at this particular Mitchell's insofar as food quality goes. The service is usually pretty good, and Chris was a fantastic waiter on this visit. But in my opinion Mitchell's overbooked tables since it was Valentine's Day. And because of that, it seems that the staff couldn't keep up with meal delivery so meals came out cold. It will be awhile before we go back, if ever.

As always it is one of our favorite place to eat...we appreciate that the fish is fresh and the presentation is so inviting!

Excellent food with good service. 4 different meals in our party and all were pleased. A touch pricey in my world but certainly not unreasonable.

New menu; excellent choices, especially the combo dinners. Smashed redskins, however, have never been served hot in all the years we have frequented Mitchell's.
