   Mitchell’s never fails when it comes to cocktails and food. I love their martinis. Always fresh and not just syrup. I mean it. I’ve made plenty of reservations and this place makes the best fresh drinks.

   Came primarily for the $45 dinner special which is a good value. Alex, our server, was outstanding. We visit Mitchell’s about very two months and we are Landry’s Rewards members.

   Slow service and food was ok. Gnats kept flying around which was rather annoying. Haven’t been in a while and may be a while before we are back.

   Our server Alex mostly ignored us while continuously checking with her other table right by us. I ordered a raspberry Arnold Palmer and it was so sour I think they forgot the tea. When I tried asking for a peach sweet tea in replacement the server rang up some other non-alcoholic concoction with mint and lemon that was also way too sour. By the time she checked on us for me to tell her about the second drink not being good we'd been there an hour so when the manager offered to get me a different tea I wasn't interested. It also took 50 minutes for our meals to come out when there was plenty of staff to be seen and not many tables - we considered leaving and going somewhere else. We hadn't been to this restaurant in years and after tonight will never return.

   The restaurant was frigid inside. We asked to move outside. They were very accommodating - not so easy for a party of 11. Our server Chris was great.
