We had a wonderful dining experience. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious.
Service was the pits! Waiter was OK but it took over an hour to get our entrees. At a time when time in a restaurant should be limited... We were told by 3 different people (2 waiters & a “manager type person” only 1 chef on Saturday during the day. Unacceptable !!! Food was excellent. we are frequent costumers & have tried hard to support our restaurants. We avoid crowds by dining outside dinner hours. Saturday’s experience was totally unacceptable!
As usual the food was good. Husband got a dish that he probably will not get again but that’s ok. Our waiter, Chris, was friendly and great. All in all a wonderful dinner. We even got to chat with Charlene the manager. She’s terrific!
Deducted to treat myself to dinner for 1 and it was absolutely amazing. Service and food were both excellent.
The staff will go beyond their duties to make customers satisfied and will explain menu, and drinks out this world inviting environment and just a overall great experience. I will recommend to family and friends
Excellent local management and servers. Food is consistent and great.
Worst service ever. This was our second time at the restaurant, the first time we left after not being attended to after being seated for 30 minutes. This time it was a special occasion celebrating a birthday. We arrived at 1:35 PM And finally got our food at 3:15 PM. We had drinks and an appetizer to start and lunch to follow. The server took a lot of time between checking on us and taking our order. The food was good but honestly not worth the wait for as much as we paid. Spoke to the General Manager about the afternoon. She listened, was very attentive and made no excuses which I really appreciated.
Our server was very good, the restaurant was under staffed and she was seen in the kitchen helping the cook as best she could. Our food tasted very good, it just took a long time to get our food.
Overall enjoyable dining experience at Mitchell's, I can't wait to return!!
Always good quality. No new menu even during lent for a seafood place is a negative
Nice evening
Sat in the bar area
Server/bartender was very good
His name was Andy
Nice higher end din in location. We got what we paid for
Good service and good food
We had reservations and it took them 30 minutes to seat us. The kitchen was very behind although half the tables in the restaurant couldn't be seated. After we were seated we ordered an appetizer, salads, plus our meal. It took them 1 hour after we were seated to receive our food which all came out at once. The manager did come over and apologize and comped our appetizer for us but being 9 months pregnant and enjoying valentine's day for the first year with my husband it wasn't be best experience. Food did come out hot and delicious though despite the issues.
Wait was long however expect due to COVID seating restrictions.... food and service were great...
Had Valentine's Day dinner there. They did an awesome job with social distancing. The food was excellent. Our waiter Chris was great.
Was sat in a very small 2 top table that was placed in the middle of the dining room to accommodate additional parties for V Day weekend. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us. We were out in a small private dining room with 3 other tables. It was so loud that I could not hear my wife sitting right in front of me. Both managers were in the room at different times and knew how unpleasant it was. They brought me the wrong order and eventually fixed it. Took our dessert home and will never be back. The restaurant is very bland inside and not very welcoming. Our server was very nice and did a good job. Food was average.
We arrived a little late, 8 minutes, but called ahead and they held our table for our Valentine's Day date. We were seated but it took an extended time before a waiter came to our table. It seems that there was a change in table assignments, we were told, and the server who was supposed to service the table was unaware. The wait for the whole cadence of the meal and ordering were slow. The beer was served with a very large amount of foam and the couple next to us had the same issue they said. This was rectified but took a long time.
Our waiter asked if we wanted bread after ordering and again that took some time. The next issue was there was a long pause for our salads to be served and literally less than 5 minutes after the salad was served our entrees were served. Very poor timing.
All the food was excellent. The only issue found was we ordered the creme brulee and it was a bit loose. The chocolate cake was very good and would recommend it.
Seems overall the wait staff was overwhelmed or under staffed, but either way the service was the most lacking part of the evening.
Everything tasted great. Some of the best Seafood we’ve ever had.
Valentine lunch
Just terrific. And our server was excellent!
Was looking forward to a nice dinner. Ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon. What a joke! The salmon was cooked (if you can say that) elsewhere and then transferred onto what looked like a brand new piece of cedar. It was not cooked on the Cedar to absorb the flavor, as most restaurants do. Asked for it to be medium well and it was medium raw. It was lukewarm instead of hot. Sent it back and it was barely improved and definitely not hot, although I asked for it to be piping hot. Never coming here again.
Food was great! Our server, Courtney, was friendly and gave us top notch service.
Mitchell’s is close to home so it’s a go-to favorite I have frequently during this Covid pandemic. I have never been disappointed in the food or service even with a reduced menu. This was a girls’ lunch and we were delighted to see Mitchell’s had returned to their full menu! As usual, our service ce was 5-star and everyone was delighted with their meals.
Good experience. Social distancing done well
Service was very good, beginning with the host, Brian. He was friendly, accommodating and professional.
Great food, great service, the General Manager is exceptional!
Waiter was fantastic
Phenomenal service, excellent atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food. All around excellent experience.
Spicy shrimp appetizer was very good but not too spicy. I had the 4 oz Filet with 2 jumbo shrimp scampi and beef was very tender and shrimp were tasty and not over cooked.
Waiter was phenomenal! Food is always great! Will definitely go back.
Our first visit, and overall pleased. Appetizers were good and valued
Correct. Salad didn’t taste fresh.
Chowder was great along with the rest of the meal. Enjoyed atmosphere and service was good considering a party of 7. We will visit again soon.
Always a top notch experience! Service was fabulous, food was delicious, we definitely couldn’t have ask for anything more!
Very good food. Service was very good. Had a nice booth
A very nice dinner. We felt quite safe in the restaurant with good spacing between tables.
The ambience was great! We sat in the bar area. Very quaint and quiet. Took a little longer than normal to be greeted and ordered drinks. Ordered a beer and a glass of wine. My SO’s beer glass had lipstick on it 😮. Bread was brought out and was unusually sour for some reason. I ordered Calamari as my meal and my SO ordered fish and chips and we ordered an extra side of hush puppies. Food came out rather quickly. Fish was good, a little greasy. Calamari was very dry and rubbery, however the sauce was flavorful.. Hush puppies were amazing!! Overall we were very dissatisfied with our visit.
Great service / great food
We always enjoy Mitchell's. Our server was very helpful
The meal was delicious and I highly recommend the BBQ/Bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer.
The appetizer was excellent. The main dish was too salty. I notified the waiter and spoke with management. They offered to prepare another dish; however, that would mean that I couldn’t eat with my company. I ended up eating the mashed potatoes and asparagus and was charged the full price of the meal, $35. Unacceptable. I will never return.
