   I took this opportunity to bring a client along and treat myself as I love oysters on the half shell. I was looking forward to it and guess what - no oysters. Any restaurant with the word "fish" in the name surely should have oysters. The story was "someone forgot to order them". It's a seafood restaurant guys. Really? Next time I'd rather you lie to me and say you ran out, but he was honest. I'm marking this as a recommend but honestly if you like a specific item, call ahead! God knows what they forget to order next. I ordered the scallops and if I'm being honest, they were pretty small for the price.

   I dine at Mitchell’s frequently! On March 28, 2023, I had the best experience ever! Sabrina was super! The service, her personality, the food, were all wonderful. I had the salmon, lightly grilled with mashed potatoes & mixed vegetables. Thank you! 😊

   I thought it was too expensive for what you got, and while some of our party really enjoyed their meals, others of us were unimpressed. When it got busy, our waitress disappeared, though she was nice during all interactions.

   It took 45 mins to get our table even though we had a reservation. The front desk receptionist were nothelpful or friendly at all. Get your act together at the front of the house because your food is very good & so is the service after you get seated.

   I guess everyone has a bad night, and this was their bad night. Apparently the computer went down, and when the computer goes down, nothing else can work. This was evident from the fact that multiple orders were being lost from tables around us, and parts of our orders were lost and misplaced as well. The staff was doing their best, but the restaurant was in obvious chaos. Food was a step down from what we are used to, probably because of the computer anarchy, and overall just not a very pleasant dining experience. Management certainly let their serving personnel down tonight.

    Service was great! Drinks were delicious. Clam chowder always a favorite. The main dishes just aren't what they used to be. I always order the same thing and it just looks sloppy and not quite what I remember it about a year ago.

    Poor experience. Server below average, took forever to come to the table. Food was below average (been to other Mitchell’s and enjoyed the food), appetizer came out with the meal, waitress didn’t deliver food and never came to check on us…not once. Never offered refills…hard to find. Had to flag her down to get our check. Would not return.

    There was a one hour wait for food. Water didn’t taste clean. Long wait for drinks. I had to ask for my food. Soup was not hot and had a filmy skin by the time it was served. Not a good experience at all

    Food was just ok fish was paper thin but or waiter was the main issue took forever to give us our menu and each stage of our dinner not one time did he come by and check on up my wife’s water was out the only time we saw him again was when he gave us the check. After spending $98.00 we thought we would get better service and his tip showed what we thought of our waiter. I really think it will be a long time before we ever go back if we ever do agin !!!!!!!!

    We attended for our wedding anniversary. We were probably seated based off a reservation. Took our waitress 15 minutes to even take our drink order. Then another 10 to order an appetizer. We ordered calamari, and upon its arrival was not as warm as one would’ve anticipated. All the while everyone else was running around waiting on tables and a prompt and appropriate manner. We received our bread one piece was so hard that if it was thrown it with a broken window. Could not get our entrée ordered for a good 40 minutes. So that’s ordering our entrée we paid for what we ate and I spoke with the manager. The manager was unhelpful. They ruined my anniversary and our day.

    I went to the bar for happy hour with 4 other friends after a movie & the server brought us warm bread & took an order from one friend right before my husband arrived for our 5:15 reservation. We just stayed at the same booth in the bar for dinner. Our waitress was very good, but by the time we ordered the kitchen was a lot slower. We shared the lobster crab stuffed cod with potatoes & asparagus, & a house salad. Very tasty! Great place to go early for a Friday in lent!

    Our experience wasn't bad, but for spending nearly $100 for two people, it should have been better. My scallops and shrimp were somewhat overcooked and a little tough. My bourbon glass was not entirely clean, and the table wasn't entirely clean. The waiter was a nice man, but not a confident and proficient waiter. The host staff were close to being rude but mostly indifferent. There was not acknowledgment as we walked pass them to leave. Overall, it was just a little disappointing and I can't say I'll be returning again anytime soon.

    Went for dinner with friends. Order the Mahi Mahi and had to send it back twice as the fish was undercooked. I was finally able to eat my entree after my friends had already finished. Manager came once, but I was surprised she never checked back after I returned it the second time. Disappointed as the food was not as good as it usually is. They did give me a small credit in my bill for a kitchen error, but overall disappointing for a restaurant that specializes in seafood.Server was great!

    Bad start as there was no host when we arrived and a server had to notify them from their hiding spot that we were waiting to be met. Then, the hostess was wearing attire that was way too revealing and inappropriate. Food was fine. Specialty Old Fashioned from menu was weak. Service was adequate at best- should be better at an upscale eatery. Our server seemed to just drop off items as he passed and his inquiries of our needs seemed obligatory and not attentive.

    Disappointing experience. Service was terrible. We ordered drinks and they were served 25 minutes later, even after our appetizer was delivered. The server could not have been more indifferent. The food was OK, but not hot when served.

    We went there for Valentine’s Day which I appreciate is a challenging day for restaurants but the food quality was off. Our service was very poor. Both of those are not typical of our experience at Mitchell’s so I will assume it was an off night.

    Mitchell's reservation policy is topnotch! We arrived on time, waited a few minutes behind those that were in front of us, then were seated immediately. 🤗 After that, we waited 10 -15 minutes, Chris finally made it over and introduced himself as our waiter and took our drink order, brought over some water while we waited for our drinks to arrive, about 15 minutes later. We figured we would be better off ordering our entrees at the same time we ordered our appetizer. 15 -20 minutes later, our appetizers arrived, and about 20 minutes after that, our entrees arrived. We ate as much as we could handle, but only ate about half of our food, even though we had been starving. We finally got our check about 20 minutes after we finished eating Like I said, Mitchell's has a great reservation policy! Be sure you make reservations if you're going to have dinner. The wait time seemed excruciatingly long, especially on a night like Valentine's Day. 👍🏿

    Decent place, we will definitely go back. Our server was a little bit slow and he did not have too many tables. It was fine though. Food was good and I think it deserved a four out of five.

    First table seated at 3:05 we did not get our food til 4:45. Mind you restaurant was not busy at all when we arrived. Ticket got lost or something. Manager never came out to explain even though we were told numerous times she would be out. Husbands food arrived cold, mine was warm but not hot. Our waiter was amazing. Just thankful we ordered soup before the main course. Was really looking forward to our Valentines dinner. The manager not coming out was really pathetic on her part.

    Reserved a 7pm dinner for Valentine’s Day with my wife. When we arrived we were told they would mark us as “Arrived” and advised it would be a 45 minute wait because they only had 2 servers working. This is the only reason for my 3 star review of the service. Our waiter was great and the Chilean sea bass was incredibly delicious, rich and juicy.

    I had made reservations on Open Table about 3 weeks prior, planning our Valentine's date a day early, to avoid some of the crowds. When we arrived at 6:30 for our reservation, we were told (along with many people in front of us) that our reservation was not being honored since they had 2 servers not show up and only had 2 working. We couldn't get another reservation at a nice restaurant at that late time so we waited it out and were seated about 7:20. I felt they could've called their clients as soon as they knew the issue. We had driven an hour to get there. And interestingly enough when checking other places, we could have still made a reservation for Mitchell's, even tho they weren't honoring them! Once seated, our server did a nice job. The food was slower to come out and drinks were very slow. We would go back again but that caliber of restaurant needs more attention. I do recall that one time when we were 10 minutes late for our reservation because of traffic, they bumped us to the bottom and we waited 90 minutes.

    From start to finish our experience was amazingly delicious. Our server McKenzie was such a joy. I wish there were more like her in other places we have dined. Thanks McKenzie for such a wonderful experience and thanks to the cooks and other servers as well.
