bad place all around!!I've been here for 18 years they have changed ownership so the last two times I've been here has been Pathetic!! we will not go back-Horrible food/ wrong food came…Very little done on management part to make things okay… Wouldn't feed the food to my dog
Great service! Seated right away on Father’s day with our reservation. Our waitress Lauren was awesome and friendly. She smiled the entire time even though she had to go back 3 times to get extra tomatoes for my dad’s salad. Food was pretty good for a chain restaurant.
Our Fathers Day meal was awesome!! Kristine our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with choices!! Adrienne, the chef, was incredible and accommodating!
Thank you, Mitchell’s for another incredible experience!!!
Food was very good. Portions smaller than I expected and pricey. Great atmosphere and service!
Food was great and service excellent. Very to converse with others at table. Server and chef were amenable to changing entree's on a combo offering.
Great experience. Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding. Friendly service. Comfortable surroundings. I would recommend to anyone who is a seafood lover.
Other than the waiter leaving is too alone, the service was very good and the food was delicious!
We were in town playing tennis. We like to stay at hotels near Paddock Shops. Mitchell’s is always one of our favorite places. This year it was as good as we remembered.
Beautiful night so we sat outside. We shared the ahi tuna appetizer, a house salad, & the special grilled salmon with smashed potatoes & green beans. Very good!! As always, great food and service!
My fish, scallops, and shrimp were greasy!
Selection of seafood was not that great. Wine is very overpriced. Will probably not go back again
Felt bad for our server, she had way too many tables! Other than that, everything was perfect
I love Mitchell's. The food is always excellent and it has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Must try!
I have dined here many times and tonight the wait staff was exceptional!
We shared our usual lobster & Shrimp stuffed cod, with smashed potatoes & asparagus, & ahi tuna appetizer. Delicious as always! Thank you!!
We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and always liked it. The last 2 times we received very poor service. Once we waited so long for a waiter to come by that I finally had to go find the manager. This last time the waiter would disappear for long stretches and would forget to bring things we asked for. We finally had to go find someone to help us.
Lunch service- not busy at all from our vantage point.
Extremely poor service. Waited over an hour for a coffee refill. No one checked to see if the food was to our satisfaction - which it wasn’t. Watched our meal sit in the service window for quite a while before someone (other than our server) brought it to our table. Food was dried out from sitting under the heat lamp and inedible.
Spoke to the manager regarding our dissatisfaction she took off the coffee, a cup of soup , and gave a 10% discount “for our inconvenience.”
This was supposed to be a special lunch as I drove 4 hours to visit my mom. Extremely disappointed in this Cameron Mitchell restaurant. Definitely not the quality I am used to from the Columbus area Cameron Mitchell restaurants.
It was noisy only because there was a party of 20 in the room with us. Server was new at his job but very attentive. All in all it was a nice evening out
Overall good. Did not appreciate the hard-sell for the Landry's preferred diner program immediately upon arrival. If I say I'm not interested, then drop it. I don't come to a nice restaurant to be "sold" on a dining program, especially with menu prices in this range. Food was plentiful, service was attentive but not overbearing. But the front of house experience was not making me eager to return any time soon. There are too many other higher-end restaurants in Louisville that don't take that approach.
Excellent service, wonderful food, good price, noise level a little high for a nicer restaurant.
If you are craving fish done right ... Mitchell's is the place to go. They know their sprecialty and they work hard to make your visit worth the trip.
Server was slow and inattentive. Kept forgetting things and never made us feel very welcome. Service overall was slow, even though it was a quiet Monday evening. Food was good but nothing specials....
We sit on the patio when we can. Good food. Not cheap, but good value.
Nice drinks and wine selection.
I've been coming here for a long time so I have a several data points. I think food and service have slipped.
Also, if you are not able to consume shellfish, be aware that they add gumbo to the mashed potatoes. Order the roasted potatoes instead. I don't think there is a warning on the menu.
Halibut in season and it’s great. Simply grilled with a potato and asparagus accompaniment. Service was spotty. She seemed new and was very forgetful, but pleasant. I think Mitchell’s is a solid choice for an evening out. It’s a dependable restaurant, good food, good ambiance. Can be loud indoors if it’s busy.
Loud and our server seemed to have multiple tables and was slow to respond because she was jumping back and forth. The food was just okay but considering the price, disappointing
We had reservations at 6:45 but didn’t get seated until 7:10. We asked to change the reservation from 4 to 5 and was told it would change our time to 8:15. We were finally seated in a booth that did have room for 2 more people. It took a while to get our salads which were very good. Took a while to get our food which was just mediocre for the price we paid.
We dined at Mitchell’s for Mother’s Day dinner. The food was good and they have a children’s menu which meant everyone found an option in the menu they liked.
Mother’s Day with a party of 8. We were seated on time and the hostess gave each of the mothers a flower, which was a nice touch. The food was good, mainly as expected, nothing spectacular. The service was atrocious. Our server had 3 large parties (8 or more) and two other tables. I didn’t get her name, but she was completely overwhelmed. She attended to our table only when flagged down and only paid attention for more than an eye roll and indignation when presenting the check. Drinks were not refilled or delivered from bar, empty plates sat uncollected and items forgotten upon initial delivery had to be re-requested multiple times. We had to flag down other staff to actually get ordered items. The server was overwhelmed and for that I blame the restaurant, but her lack of attention and attitude when addressing us was all on her.
My order came incorrect but it was not a problem for them to correct it and they did it very well it was very hot and very tasty the desert was very good I do recommend this place
Our food was overcooked and bland. The manager came out apologized. Took the entrees off the bill I did not order another dish. My wife did. I was still charged for it. 187.00 plus 18% tip(not really the servers fault). Very expensive lesson. Needless to say I shall not return. I will also review you on my podcast as well as other reviews.
We visited on Mother's Day. It was packed and loud. Food was delicious. Our server was excellent. Very attentive without being intrusive. Pricey, but for a special occasion it is worth it.
It was Mother's Day, so it was very busy and you needed a reservation. The food was good, but the wait time was a little slow, but that was to be expected. We always come here for special occasions. I wish they had more specials for this day, but it was good. Our server was a bit overwhelmed, but did not let that affect her service.
We visited on Mother's day, so we'll need to take that into consideration. Drinks arrived, not as pictured, no rimmed glasses, little garnish. $12 drink did not live up to its description in the drink menu. Everyone at our table ordered soup as a starter. I had the lobster bisque, and was hard-pressed to find any bits of Lobster in the bowl. We just had received our soup, when within one minute, the entrees arrived. The runner did not offer to keep them warm or ask if we wanted to wait for the entrees to be served. My entree was supposed to be served with a sauce, but there was so little on it that I had to ask for a separate cup of the sauce for flavor. All in all, not a good experience this time around.
We came to Mitchell's for Mother's Day lunch. Our waitress was terrific, but the food was a little pricey for the quality.
The waitress was inattentive, food was delivered and no one asked if we wanted anything else. The waitress was not to be found for refills. I can honestly say I will not be back.
good choice of seafood and steaks. service a little slow but worth the wait.
It was a great meal for my wife's birthday and Kristen our server did a wonderful job. Thanks!
Always enjoy Mitchell’s lobster & crab stuffed crab & the ahi tuna appetizer. I also like the thinly sliced pickled cucumbers that are served with the ahi. I wish that was a side you could order. Service was good too.
My companion and I really enjoyed the soups and our entree. No dessert too full.
