Very ordinary, not impressed. Food was cold when served,
Food was delicious!
The experience was wonderful
We absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. One of our favorites in the area.
Food was not good. Salmon was undercooked and stuffing was very dry. The best thing on the plate was the redskin potatoes.
Took our kids and in-laws by here for vday! Great spot with amazing food and prices!
Valentines crowd made for slower service . Meal was awesome from start to finish!
This was my first experience at Mitchell’s and it did not meet my expectations. Granted it was Valentine’s Day and I expected a longer wait time on food but that’s no excuse for my food to not even be warm.
My bf and I went to Mitchell's for Valentine's Day and before I start this review, I get it was Valentine's Day but they should've been more prepared as they own the same calendars as the rest of us. My bfs lobster was gummy on one side, the waiter never told us they were out of mashed potatoes so he just brought over his food and pretended like that wasn't apart of the entree. I got chicken parm and it was supposed to be over linguini and they didn't tell me they were out of linguini and just put macaroni noodles in it's place!! We never got a refill on drinks - had to ask for bread twice - asparagus was over cooked and no seasoning - the whole experience was awful. Thankfully we had gift cards bc If I had to pay $100 out of pocket, I prob would've flipped the table over in disgust.
The food was delicious! I ordered the filet mignon. My boyfriend ordered cod. Unfortunately when we went they ran out of potatoes and asparagus and we had to substitute for mixed vegetables and Brussel sprouts which actually wasn’t a bad option and was delicious. The Brussel sprouts were so good that I would definitely go back to just order that side to eat. My filet was cooked to order: medium well. I didn’t need any steak sauce because it was just season perfect. I tasted my boyfriend cod and I’m not a cod fan but this cod was delicious. He ordered it blackened. I would go back again and would highly recommend.
The food was mediocre. Service was ok. For the amount of food/seafood you get for the quality, you are better off going to Storming Crab or Joe’s Crab Shack.
Valentine’s Day bust!!!! Loud drunk couples ranting. Our server was scattered and forgetful. We received our salads after our entree! Her crab legs were over cooked. So for the food and the service Mitchell’s was definitely a bust. We will definitely not be back! We could have received better service and food for half the price. Lesson learned!
Honestly 3.5 stars on everything but ambience and service (our waiter rocked it). It was freezing in there. I mean almost everyone in the restaurant had their coat around them.
We may give them another shot.
Really nice evening. Good food and service and not a “jacked up” price because it was Valentines Day. My only complaint is that it was so noisy, it was hard to carry on a conversation.
Valentine’s Day. Excellent swerving and food!
The only negative was that the bread wasn’t fully cooked. We have eaten here before and the food is good.
Chris gave us excellent service! We love coming to Mitchell's and look forward to coming again! Charlene the GM is always so welcoming also and makes a point to notice us as regular customers
Food was great for a gluten free patron service was excellent
We have now been to Mitchell's twice, as we live 2 hours away. We have loved it both times! The ginger crusted salmon was amazing! I wish we lived closer because we would come here regularly!
Quality should be coming before speed. If certain things are missing (oyster fork, crackers...) the overall picture suffers right away...
Seems to have gone down hill.. not many customers, and the food is so-so. Needs an upgrade all around.
Disappointed in the food. Have been to this restaurant at least 10 times and typically the food is good. Chicken in the street tacos was extremely dry and did not have much flavor - particularly for being labeled “spicy”. Same for the chicken in the Chicken Parmigiana that my daughter got - very dry. Also, parts of the mozzarella cheese on it was cool and not melted all the way through. On a good note the sea bass my wife ordered was excellent as was the service. I guess the conclusion is - order seafood at the seafood restaurant.
Chris does a wonderful job.
Food was terrible, never going back!
I ALWAYS LOVE GOING TO MITCHELLS ! THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE OUTSTANDING !
Very good service, very good food
Enjoyable experience, great service from both the server and hostess. Server was very helpful and knowledgeable about menu items, food was delicious.
We went to Mitchell’s for our Anniversary! We were pleasantly surprised that they celebrated our occasion with mention of it on our menus and a free dessert! It was very nice
One of my favorite places. Food is always great as well as the service.
Food was great, service was excellent.
Very nice experience. Food and Service were good. Really enjoyed the selection of seafood. My ginger salmon was great.
Our server was great - but we had to wait an hour a half until our meal came. There were only 3 of us and two of us ordered salads. They seemed terribly understaffed. The food was fine - but it was a very expensive salad. On top of that, there was some dirty black slimy stuff in my water glass. No idea what it was. We used to Mitchell’s Fish Market, but it must have some pretty inept management to have a wait that long on a Friday night at 6:00. We won’t be going back. Too expensive and way, way too slow.
Didn’t know it had a “C” rating. Would have not eaten there . Had drinks at the bar and there were fruit flies everywhere. Service was good but the food came out and the sides were cold and we had to send one entree back because it was overcooked.
New Years Eve - reservation at 8:30 was told by hostess if we arrived by 8:15 we’d be seated early! Arrived 8:10 , sat at table at 8:50! Then waitress gave us dessert menus while we were still eating our dinners and said , ‘we close at 10pm / it was 9:45! ‘ Needless to say, we felt rushed on NYE! Why take such a late table and close at 10pm on NYE?! Crazy + rude for all 6 of us! Disappointing
Always good! I think the salad and lettuce wedge we ordered to accompany our meal took too long to prepare. However, it was NYE so I guess the kitchen might’ve been a little behind.
Other than that, the food and service were great.
There were only 3 tables occupied when we arrived but service was extremely slow. Seems we waited for everything from initial contact thru the check. Waited to place appetizer order, waited on drink order, waited on main course order. Never cked on us unless we flagged a server. Odd as there was no backlog to deal with with only 3 tables and only maybe 6 occupied tables when we left. Appetizers took forever but main courses can quickly. Food very good so kinda made up for us seeming being an afterthought. A sugar free desert offering would have been nice and would have sold desert and after dinner drinks. I doubt we were the only diabetic diners New Year’s Eve.
Nice, reasonable, straightforward, delicious, and affordable.
Very over cooked, dry and extremely salty salmon. Could not eat it!
