The service was poor on a not so busy night. Server came back never unless I got up (twice) to ask for check, my meal altered etc. The cost for the aggravation did not measure up.

Favorite dish-ginger encrusted salmon—taken off the menu. I was able to order it, but it wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. Service was very attentive, but a little intrusive.

Jimmy was an excellent server and it was Easter dinner, also was cousin's birthday. He was very good- we gave him the Landry's card- even applied the Landry's dining card credit without being asked. A very good server...

Our server Taylor was a very nice lady. She kept our drinks full for the entire meal without us having to ask for them to be filled. Also, other servers in her area also would ask us if we needed any drinks filled. I enjoyed the teamwork they all displayed during our visit. The crab spinach artichoke dip was delicious and the bread they served was served hot. It was very good. As for our meals jumbo stuff crab shrimp was to die for. Our food was hot and presented very well. Thanks again and we will be stopping by very soon. 5 stars.

It was Easter so maybe it would be different on another day. Service was extremely slow. When our meals finally came my swordfish was very overcooked, very dry. When the waitress came to check on us I told her the fish was overcooked. She immediately offered to take it back, it would only take a minute to have it redone. About 10 or 15 minutes later a manager brought my meal back. My son had already finished his meal. The supervisor just said "thanks for being patient." I wasn't very patient, but pretty annoyed that it took so long to get my meal back. Since it was cooked improperly I would expect it to be their number one priority in getting it cooked and back out to me. From the time it took I assume they put it back in line with the rest of the meals and made it when they had time.

The food is very good but the service is sooooo slow! This is the second time we have dined here in the last 4 months and each time the service was very mediocre. Arrived at 5:45 and left at 7:40. We didn’t order dessert because it took almost 10 minutes just to be brought a menu. With this being a fine dining restaurant, the servers need to be better.

I was surprised and so pleased that the Hoisin Grilled Tuna was suishi grade. It might have been the best tuna I've had anywhere. Talked to the chef before leaving to compliment him. He said it was just flown in from Hawaii. Hats off to this restaurant. Even though they recently closed in Birmingham, Michigan, its good to know that their other location is so good.
Other restaurants in my area do not have such superior quality, even for a lot more money.

What I like most about Mitchells is that the food is extremely fresh and that we are able to substitute vegetables for potatoes or different preparations without problems. The three part dinner special is a wonderful option and the sharkfin pie is like no other dessert.

Far too many requests from the manager and waiter, interrupting our conversation to ask if everything is ok. An occasional silent walk-by would do, and the question asked once by the manager and waiter would be enough.

Received email promotion about the $5 crab cakes. Thought I oils get 2 cakes and a salad or soup; however, the email failed to educate us that the $5 promo was WITH the purchase of an entree. Next time I will call and clarify before I book if there is another interesting promo. Otherwise the food was very good. Crab cake was delicious. The Bouron-Brown Sugar Salmon was pretty good. Not enough sauce. The vegetable and salmon were cool when served. Not hot. A little disappointing to how happy I usually am after eating at your restaurant.

Mitchell's is one of our favorite restaurants, and is the one we go to most. It is like our home away from home. We love how we get fresh food, and that they will prepare it any way we would like it done. Mary Ellen is a Manager there, and has been ever since we started going to Mitchell's. Mary Ellen always remembers our names, and which trip we are going on, or just got back from. She manages to be professional and yet treat customers as friends. The wait staff are always helpful and friendly as well. We bring family and friends, and they all love Mitchell's too. After a long day at work, we can go and feel refreshed. When we want to dress up a bit, that's good too. The thing is, we always feel welcome and like we fit in.

Appetizers were very good and fast. After that we waited over an hour for our entrees without any explanation or apologies. They just did not care. Entrees were not very flavorful at all. One more thing , the waiter spilled water all over one of our coats and did nothing!

Mitchell's is a fairly expensive restaurant, which I knew. They seated us right next to the lobster tank. The tank was quite dirty with pink algae (?) all over inside of it. The fish counter was spotless, but this lobster tank was such a mess. It seems at the price point for the establishment that should have been clean too.

Although I enjoyed my dinner, 5 stuffed shrimp and 2 sides was all I got for like $24. I think I will stick to going to Mitchell's during Happy Hour, they have a nice offering and the prices are much more reasonable.

Had dinner with parents and in-laws and new baby. Staff was extremely accommodating. Food was delicious and our waiter even offered drink pairing options for my mother who was undecided about her choices. Great night out.

Party of four went to Mitchell’s on a Friday night. 45 minutes cook time, scallops over cooked and replaced. Sea Bass was excellent. The dinner took two hours due to the inattention of our server.

I expect a better experience from an upscale restaurant that charges $37 for sea bass. I talked to an assistant manager who came by to check on our experience. Not even a desert comp.
Truly a bad experience.

We had a very good experience. Our server was more than attentive, almost too much so. Food was tasty and portions were generous. No complaints to speak of. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, anytime.

We had an excellent meal including the Filet and Twin Lobster Tails. As always the food was delicious. It was quite busy but the flow of the meal was still well managed with an appetizer, salads, main course and dessert.

The charbroiled oysters were amazing. Everyone had a different salmon , all were very tasty. I had the sea bass,. Little pricey and wasn't anything special for $37. Would pass on that.

Overall had a very relaxing dinner and enjoyed the place.

We went to Mitchell’s for my sons birthday. Everything was A1 except for my husbands first drink - a Long Island ice tea. It tasted like a glass of Coca-Cola. We told our waiter and he made a new drink that was perfect. We will come again for a special celebration.
