Just another great meal here. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. I love sitting at the bar and just enjoy good conversation with the bartenders.
We were very happy with our food. The music was a little loud, but ultimately we had an excellent dining experience and would return without hesitation!
Food was excellent, server was very good. Bar service was quite slow. Made reservations ahead of time for a quiet, romantic dinner with my wife. Was seated in a cramped booth next to the bathroom and kitchen entrances. Our evening consisted of watching the dance between patrons and staff dodging each other at the intersection near our booth. It was entertaining but not what we had hoped for. For the money, we had hoped for something with better ambiance than Denny's.
Emily was fabulous!!!
The restaurant offered a nice big room for large party and good service. The yellow tuna was sent back twice and not blackened. The seafood platter was to greasy. The food is over priced. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Usually eat in bar which we love but for Easter we ate in dining area. We were unfortunately place right by tank and major aisle. Loud 1980's music playing. Every time the outside door opened we caught a chill but Connor was great! My husband and I will continue our wonderful happy hours in the bar with Mac the bartender. We love Mac!
Wow what a disappointment. Our son attends school so we wanted a nice place to eat. The waitress was horrible. We ordered oysters and we asked for saltines and she brought oyster crackers/ really. Train your staff. She told us they don't carry saltines. As we left they are sitting on the raw bar. Potatoes had no taste. Don't waste your time or money.. better places to eat in town
Went for brunch on Easter Sunday. They always have a Sunday brunch . Reservations were for 1:45. Brunch ends at 3:00. Get there and given dinner menu. Asked for brunch menu and waitress said "We aren't serving brunch today so we can get people in and out quicker." Website did not state this. Also wouldn't let us order off lunch menu even though it was only 1:45. $160 for 3 people.
Good food and service
Alyssa was attentive and friendly and we never had to seek her out -- she was always seeing to our needs. We were fortunate to have a corner table in the outer room, which was wonderful. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed for dessert! A great experience.
Excellent and personable server. Food was very good too.
Searched Open Table for Easter Brunch and this restaurant came up. Serving mimosas and bloody Mary’s does not make it a brunch. While the food was good, there was no breakfast or brunch food, only the dinner menu being served all day. It’s hard to eat dinner foods at 11am when you were expecting brunch. Dinner here is very good, brunch not so much.
Excellent food and service. There for a birthday and they were wonderful to our guests that we're with us.
I ordered the broiled whitefish. Very small portion. Did not come with a side salad which you would expect at a fine dining establishment. My husband's scallops were "ok" nothing special. Fro a $100 bill our food was just "ok" nothing to write home about sadly.
Everyone in our group had a very good meal and a positive experience. The service was excellent and for the most part the food was very good. I had the jumbo lump crab cakes and although they were good they weren’t quite as good as I’ve had at this restaurant before. There seemed to be more breading and very little lump crabmeat so I was disappointed since crab cakes are one of my favorite meals.
Salads arrived before the appetizers, entrees arrived while still completing salads and apps. No salad forks provided and was instructed to “keep your dirty fork” when trying to send it away with the used plates. 2nd round of drinks ordered as entrees arrived, but not delivered until almost finished with the meal. Asked server again 10 minutes after ordering draft beer and was given a list of excuses for why it was taking so long. Finally ordered a black coffee with desert and the server “completely forgot” to put the order in. Food was good but the overall experience not meet our expectations for a relatively upscale restaurant for the area and probably will look for another place next time.
Sat quickly. Wonderful service. Delicious food.
Always a wonderful and relaxing place. All the staff are excellent.
The experience was great. There were many different fish selections to choose from. Our server was excellent and very knowledge. And the food was delicious.
Ahi tuna was cooked through and barely pink in the center. The server happened to see it passing by and insisted that I send it back. After a considerable wait, a new piece was served and the center was quite cold. Server was quite quick with picking up our plates and actutally swipied the calamari before we were done and then later took my son's plate before he finished. We managed to retrieve the meal but let the appetizer go. Otherwise everything was fine.
The food was amazing and the service was top notch
the food is great. The crab cake is good.
I made the reservation 5 days in advance and they put us in a booth in the bar area! The service and food was excellent in contrast.
Excellent food and great service. We were seated right away even though we arrived 10 minutes early. Menu is a little pricy but the food was outstanding. Definitely recommend the lobster bisque soup.
Always a great experience, even for diners with food allergies!
The food and service were both good. I ordered glazed scallops and duck confit hash, there was no duck. The lobster bisque has delicious and large pieces of lobster but no creme fraiche so that was a bummer. It wasn’t as nice as other Landry restaurants but I would return.
I wouldn't recommend the Shanghai-style prep, rice was undercooked and sticky. The scallops lacked any kind of flavor, was essentially a cooked scallop sitting on the plate. The shrimp were less than medium size, at this price I expected them to be on the large size.
I question whether The Mango Magihto (sp?) cocktail had any alcohol in it.
My son's seafood platter was good, battered fish, shrimp, and scallops.
Sometimes the fish here is amazing, sometimes, not so much. The fish had a fishy taste, waitress rushed us, manager came by to see how things were and didn't seem to care what our answer was. We asked for heavily blackened fish and got a sprinling of seasoning. If this place was consistent, we would eat there much more often.
great service and good seafood Love their salmon and fish and chips. Great wine selection and desserts
Great seafood with daily fresh catch options, prepared perfectly. But if you are looking for for non seafood options, check the menu first as there aren't many.
Always a great place to eat! Excellent appetizers and drinks. My son’s crab was a little dry and our waitress didn’t hesitate to send it back and switched his order to twin lobster tails. Great customer service!
The food is the best at Mitchell's and the service just right.
We go to Mitchell's Fish Market periodically, usually special occasions. A bit pricey but always good.
We’ve been to Mitchell’s several times in the past few months. Normally our service is good. This evening, however, our waitress was very pushy and we felt like we were being rushed and pushed out (we were at the restaurant for exactly 1hr). My Shanghai Salmon, shrimp and scallops was excellent, my husbands Sword fish and smoked onion was undercooked (not flakey).
I ordered Scallops, and they were overcooked, and really tough. However, they took them back immediately and served me new Scallops that were completely delicious. Great service!
Favorite restaurant for date night! Great cocktails and delicious food, no matter what you choose.
I arrived early before our reservation . It was still Happy Hour so I was offered to that they could seat me in the bar if I was interested. I had some time so why not? I asked them to please let me know when the other parties arrived so that I could join in the actual restaurant. I was seated at a table and then about 12 minutes later someone finally arrived to acknowledge my presence. I ordered a drink a simple wine and then proceeded to wait for another 8 minutes before that was brought back to me. In fairness a few minutes before Happy Hour ended the waitress made her way back around and asked if I wanted another drink. Again another 8 minutes wait.
Its getting late and I decide to call someone in our party to see if they were running behind because no one came to let me know they were there as they indicated wouldn't be a problem. You guessed it...they were already seated at the table. I go to the Hostess and I was directed to the table.
The lighting was out in the table above us. Our waitress for the table was prompt and apologetic and brought out two more candles for the table. We all used our phones to read the menu. In the end the lobster bisque was mediocre but the main entree was very tasty.
Overall I was disappointed in the ambiance and wait staff in the bar. I don't see myself returning for some time.
I had indicated it was for a 90th birthday and the first table they took us to was in the dark. I had place the reservation well in advance so really? We need light to read the menu. So after we asked they moved us nearer a window. The tables were crowded together so you were on top of other diners and it was noisy. Could not get the wheelchair down to the table at first.
The service was a bit erratic. The coffee was burnt. The food itself was pretty good, too bad it was ruined by the lack of ambiance.
The food was amazing, the lighting got fairly dark when the evening set it but overall the experience was great.
