Always a great experience, even for diners with food allergies!
The food and service were both good. I ordered glazed scallops and duck confit hash, there was no duck. The lobster bisque has delicious and large pieces of lobster but no creme fraiche so that was a bummer. It wasn’t as nice as other Landry restaurants but I would return.
I wouldn't recommend the Shanghai-style prep, rice was undercooked and sticky. The scallops lacked any kind of flavor, was essentially a cooked scallop sitting on the plate. The shrimp were less than medium size, at this price I expected them to be on the large size.
I question whether The Mango Magihto (sp?) cocktail had any alcohol in it.
My son's seafood platter was good, battered fish, shrimp, and scallops.
Sometimes the fish here is amazing, sometimes, not so much. The fish had a fishy taste, waitress rushed us, manager came by to see how things were and didn't seem to care what our answer was. We asked for heavily blackened fish and got a sprinling of seasoning. If this place was consistent, we would eat there much more often.

Great seafood with daily fresh catch options, prepared perfectly. But if you are looking for for non seafood options, check the menu first as there aren't many.
Always a great place to eat! Excellent appetizers and drinks. My son’s crab was a little dry and our waitress didn’t hesitate to send it back and switched his order to twin lobster tails. Great customer service!
The food is the best at Mitchell's and the service just right.
We go to Mitchell's Fish Market periodically, usually special occasions. A bit pricey but always good.
