Food was perfect, Page our waitress was over worked but handled our group extreemly well and professionally. Tabke was not ready for our arrival but didn't take to long to put together, however when you have a 90 year old with you it can make things challenging ALSO FORGOT TO GIVE THEM.MY REWARDS # ON A $410.00 TAB , WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF SOMEONE ASKED , I FORGOT IT THE CHAOS OF DEPARTURE

I normally really enjoy going to Mitchell’s. Their food is usually great and the service is normally on point. However, the experience we had this time was horrible. We went there because my daughter has a special diet and Mitchell’s is the only place she has eaten at in 2 years that doesn’t make her sick. The experience this time was horrible and I’m not sure if it was because we had 8 people or our waitress was just plan bad. The worst part was we had guess with us because we were celebrating our daughter graduating from Kalamazoo College. We drove 1.5 hours to get there and to have service that bad is concerning. The good thing was her food was cook perfectly and didn’t make her sick. We appreciate Mitchell’s for their gluten-free menu and that is their differentiation from other places we could have went to eat.

We normally love going here to eat. Last night was a bit disappointing. Normally, if we eat all our bread, we are asked if we'd like more, but we had to ask for more and our waitress seemed a little annoyed that we did. I had asked for butter beans to be left off my order and asked for extra asparagus in place of them. I did get more asparagus, but all the other "veggie" items were left off, not just the beans. When I asked about this, I was told that they all came chopped up together, so I just was given asparagus. The hadn't been explained. They did bring me some mushrooms, but they arrived just before we were done eating. Nothing major, just not the usual excellence we are used to when dining here.

The quality of the food and service at Mitchell’s successfully survived the crushing effects of CoVid lockdowns. This was our first time back since then and we were relieved to discover this. Glad to be able to go out for dinner again!

I did a lunch with family ahead of a medical appointment in Lansing. The staff was attentive and knew the menu. Service was prompt & food quality quite good. Convenient location and good reservation availability. Nice!

The service was great; we had a very warm server, plus her trainee, who took good care of us. Some of the food we received was not too great. The asparagus and mashed redskin potatoes served with the entrees were both so overdone that they were barely touched. The shrimp stuffing on the lobster was dry and flavorless. Good spinach and artichoke dip.

Our server Alyse was amazing. She asked our names and remembered them. She was so helpful and went above and beyond. They worked with my food allergies and I had zero issues. The food was exceptional. Definitely will go again and definitely recommend.

Good happy hour deals for cocktails and apps, everything else was ordered from regular dinner menu. Quality was good, the service just kind of ruined the experience for my wife’s birthday dinner. Service was friendly, but overall subpar and slow. Food was good, but brought out in wrong order so our salads ended up being a post entree, pre-dessert dish. Never got water refills. A different server had to bring us boxes and clear our extra plates and glasses when she noticed our food just sitting after we were done and the main server never brought them when asked or cleared our table.

The meal was average. We noticed portion size was smaller, but not prices. My brother was here from Tennessee and was disappointed with the salad he couldn’t say enough about last year. We dined at lunch but ordered off the regular menu. Felt it was pricey for what we were served.

I decided to take dinner at one of my favorite restaurants with a friend. My friend was unable to come, so I decided it's Mother's Day and I will dine alone. Since I was alone, noticable, by the Manager or a sweet gentleman, came to see if I was OK. Blessings to him 😌.

We celebrated a college graduation (on Mother’s Day) and were so grateful they were able to seat us a bit early since one of us had a flight to catch. All of us enjoyed our meals, they came out timely, the service was wonderful and we also enjoyed sharing some desserts. The manager came over yo congratulate my daughter and it was an overall wonderful dining experience.

Was a bit disappointed for cost. Tables jammed together; we were right on top of other tables, food was cold when arrived. No vegan options other than salad. I’ve heard such great things about Mitchell’s and was sadly very disappointed.

Started out rough. Went for Mother’s Day and the host tried seating 12 people at a table for 8 max. When I said there we no way we could sit 12 they were extremely rude and said “well this is your table”. I asked for the manger and he was wonderful added a table and chairs for us and gave us the BEST waitress in the restaurant (Cheese). It completely turned the experience around and it was lovely. Some food was a bit cold when it came out but there were Amit of large groups and we understand and didn’t complain. I would go back in a minute. Food was excellent and so was service.

First, last and only time any of us four will ever dine at a Mitchell's. Considering the stress she was under, our server was fantastic. She was poised, professional and personable. The bus staff were also exceptional, we might add. The food was abysmal; basically it was Gordon's or Sysco without even masking it. No attempt made to provide their dishes with flavor. We ordered a starter and each of us had a different entrée; none of us were happy with our meals. We'd like to also mention that the hostess was incredibly brusque. She didn't allow two of the diners to complete their sentences - she assumed what either of them were going to ask. And she couldn't have been more incorrect in her assumptions. One of the our party's members had a disability and she told them they needed to "Buck up". She was the opener on Saturday morning, May 7th, at 11:30.
