Food and service is always good. We're regulars. Ginger crusted salmon and sea bass Shanghai style are terrific.
The sea bass Shanghai style is always outstanding, soups and salads are very good, and the seafood cobb is excellent. Service is excellent.
Great food, service was outstanding. Very nice place to eat.
We all loved our food! We had good service from a cute girl named Ava! She was attentive and pleasant to us!
The ambiance was delightful and we would love to dine there again!
There were 8 in our party and we were given a private dining room. All COVID19 requirements were met including sanitizer for hands in and out of restrooms. Extra silverware was provided for sharing of desserts.
Staff were great. Menu fir dinner was very minimal and cost has went up a lot. I don't mind paying (in this case a premium) for top of tge line food. However, the food wasn't even average and had 6 small shrimp and a spoon full of crab meat in a shrimp and crab linguini that was nearly $30. Needless to say 2 adults, 1 cocktail, no appetizers, 2 meals (not crab legs, lobster or steak) and 2 cheese cakes came to $121 (including a 20% tip, because the waitress did her job good). Will be last time there.
The food was good and so was the sercice. We even got free desserts for our anniversary and my wife's birthday!
Food and service was wonderful. Menu was revised due to covid-19. Social distancing and safety precautions were good. Enjoyable dining experience during these trying times!
Lobster tails were great. The crab cake was good but it’s an appetizer for 1 lol
Food was very very bland and took forever. The service was great but for how much we paid it was not good at all.
One entrée was cooked properly, but the lobster entrée was significantly undercooked (gelatinous inside). Our server did a great job, and submitted a second lobster order. I had to continue eating while we waited, or let my dinner get cold, which meant we couldn't eat at the same time. That's fine. It was still a nice evening, but it seemed very odd that no manager acknowledged the situation. That's not what you expect at a restuarant where you paid $140 for two people.
Have been coming for 15 years. Lovely service and great food! Small wait on a Wednesday night. Steak was not cooked the way I asked and our amazing waitress quickly fixed the issue. Very attentive.
As the server that takes your order isn't the one who delivers your food, there is much chance for error. She asked if we wanted bread, we said yes--never arrived. We ordered several appetizers, soups and salads. One appetizer never arrived. We asked one of the folks that brought our main course whether the app was coming and what happened. Server was oblivious that it hadn't arrived. Disappointing. There were only 4 of us and it was not busy.
Excellent service and food. Mitchell's never disappoints. We love it.
Sat outside. Was very nice. We enjoyed both of our meals. Waiter Jordan was great
Food was excellent, Our server - James was great. Will return again.
We had a great server and quick service. The Caesar salad was cold, had a great garlic flavor and delicious. I had the stuffed cod which had a nice lemon sauce but the stuffing could have been warmer. My DH had the crab cake sandwich served with tarter and would have expected a remoulade. The creme brûlée had nice vanilla flavor.
Only negative was the hostess, who had the stereotypical disgust at having to seat people. Our server was phenomenal, the food was excellent. Frankly, even the hostess made me chuckle to myself because that is some pre-COVID bs.
The food and the service were all excellent. They have a good selection of draft beers ready. Good selection of appetizers as well. The clam chowder is very good. I had a salmon entree with blackened seasoning which was very good. The sides that come with the meals are presented very well and taste good also. There was no rushing by the server and he checked back at the proper intervals. We sat outside and the weather was good without being too windy.
Great food and service. We had a party of 5 and were seated in a small private room with another party of 8 right next to us. It was a bit uncomfortable being able to hear other party’s conversation. However, due to COVID, I would have preferred a more private setting for our dining enjoyment.
Seafood is always the best. Great selection and variety.
The food was delicious, great service. The carrot cake is a must try.
Took my family to eat at what was supposed to be a quiet resturaunt.
Was seated in the bar area, with small children.
Few people visibly drunk a few tables down, loud, inappropriate comments the entire restaurant could hear. Not family friendly. Several tables complained but nothing was done. Completely ruined dinner, we couldn't even talk amongst ourselves. Mitchell's isnt a sports bar or strip club.
Enjoy the excellent service and food presentation.
We had chosen to eat on the patio for safety and health reasons. It was my husband's 87th birthday (I am 85), and we had been staying at home since March. Our experience was delightful. The weather was perfect, the food delicious, the service excellent. On top of that, the 2 people at the next table graciously paid for our drinks (2 moscatos). They were later joined by 2 others whom we knew. We were able to chat with them while still staying 6 feet apart. Mitchell's continues to be one of our favorite restaurants.
The only place they would seat six was in a private room. They said it was against the rules to seat 6 together in either of the outdoor areas. Even though two tables could have been pushed together and easily been six feet from the next table.
We have eaten here several times since COVID-19, and don’t recall this rule in the past.
Great food, great service.
Excellent service, nice patio
We sat outside which was nice, we could people watch while we were eating. The food was delicious and served at the correct temperature.
Apparently the restaurant doesn’t read the notes
Great food and service
Enjoyed our lunch. Second time there. Our first time the waitress was super attentive (thank you, Cheese) 2nd time a different waitress who wasn’t as much but was acceptable. I’m not in love with the food but my companions loved theirs. Shrimp basket only had 6 shrimp and they weren’t that large. I wouldn’t pay $20 for it again. Fish portions for fish and chips were much more generous. I thought it was a little pricey but I’ll likely go back.
We celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday. It was a great night.
Shrimp scampi wasn't great. Best house salad in town
Food was great and service as well. Restaurant complied with distancing requirements and employees with masks and gloves. Felt safe dining there without losing ambiance.
Celebrated a birthday with 3 grandchildren, youngest was 3. Was seated in a private room so noise from young children was kept in room and did not disturb other restaurant guests. Food was outstanding with a good selection for children.
Enjoyed our service and a Kudos on the Covid 19 safety measures. Well done!
Overpriced for the portion size and quality.
It was shocking to see how empty the restaurant is! But it is during covid, so it’s understandable. The food and service was amazing. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and enjoyed every bite.
Our server, Marie, was attentive but not intrusive. All of the staff were taking good measures for safety during the pandemic. The food was good and came out just after it was finished, as it was still really hot. We had a very nice meal.
