The wait staff forgot part of an entree for one member of our party. The price was $$$ but fish tasted fresh. My sister said her shrimp wasn’t as good as red lobster but was ok. I would go back if I was hungry for seafood. If I lived in Michigan this would not be on my regular go it to eat list.

Something for everyone. I'm not a seafood person so I always get the chicken parm. It's encrusted with parm cheese and absolutely delicious and juicy. Highly recommend if you're a chicken eater. My fiance loves seafood and claims it's amazing. Good place for celebrations and date night.

Made a reservation and was seated at a table in a crowded area when there was a booth only steps away. Food was okay. Not what I remembered and definitely not worth the price. I know there is a shortage of servers but 10 minutes to pick up my credit card after you placed the bill on the table? At least take a moment to explain the e-payment system you now have if you’re going to ignore me. We were going to have dessert, too, but we would have been there forever. Take better care of the people who take the time to make a reservation. That’s what reservation’s are about, right? Guaranteed service.

The wait staff was very good. Looking at the menu, I was quite surprised there was not any mussels available. I would have thought a seafood restaurant would have seafood, but maybe not all. My friend and I both ordered the New Orleans Seafood Gumbo. The gumbo was quite salty, however my friend asked for a glass of warm water to dilute all the salt. My Americana which consisted of shrimp (overcooked and very hard), scallops (3, which were very crunchy, like they had sand in them), grilled potato wedges (wonderfully prepared), spinach, and sauce. My friends fish was the texture of a steak and was not edible. I ordered a side of hush puppies, which were wonderful. Finally, the ending was a slice of shark fin pie. I would say that appetizers and desserts were the best part of the meal. Do not bother with getting an entrée, skip it and only order appetizer and dessert.

Our server, Alisa Cheese, was possibly the most accomplished professional service person we have encountered. Her careful and informative manner set an experience for us. The food was well described and she was interested in our feedback throughout our meal. The dishes were well prepared & delicious. We’ll be back.

I have always been a big fan of Mitchell’s. This is my 2nd visit to this location in a month and the food quality along with service is just not at same level as other locations. We were crammed in the middle of busy section and our server was not able to provide the level of service she wanted to. Unfortunately this will be the last time we go to this location.

I had blackened halibut, and it tasted like the seasoning was ammonia cleaner. Horrible. Server may have been new, but we basically no service. Cannot believe I spent $90 for two people, no alcoholic drinks or appetizers for this very disappointing meal. To top it off, we shared our that it was my birthday, and the big birthday treat was menus that said “Happy Birthday” and the top. Absolutely ridiculous!

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal. Tuna Poke was great. We all liked the Shrimp Bisque. The Tuna and Shitake bowl was delicious and spicy. Scallop dish was nice, we ordered them sauted. Lobster Shrimp stuffed Cod was good but the Cod was a little tough. Service was outstanding.

We had a party of 14 for my son's college graduation. Our servers Hannah and Katelyn were AMAZING! Friendly, prompt, attentive and checked on us often! Kudos to the kitchen staff as well! All of our food came out at one time and WARM! This was our first experience at Mitchell's Fish Market, and I can 100% say we will be back! Job well done!

We have visited Mitchell’s every time we are in the area and have never been this disappointed. Shrimp cocktail was warm and rubbery. Swordfish for one guest was not cooked. We sent it back and it came out raw a second time. The server was curt and rude. This will be our last visit.

My salmon was returned - it came with pasta which was also returned. SO SALTY!!! It looked amazing and was presented beautifully. I don’t understand why so many restaurants- use excessive SALT. It was taken care of and I enjoyed my meal😀

First and foremost our server was great, but that’s where 5 stars end. We arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation time of 6:45 pm and had to wait about 10 minutes. After getting seated or appetizer arrived pretty quickly, but we ordered a house salad that never showed up. It was then over an hour for our main courses to come out which were underwhelming. We had four drinks total from the bar which were as expected. We were in the restaurant for nearly 2 hours and thus caused us to pass on desert and coffee as we just wanted to leave. Clearly there was a break down in the back of house and I was disappointed to see management was non existent in trying to help the servers. Instead having your servers tell tables “sorry the kitchen is behind.” versus taking an active role checking on tables and offing a small token of consideration would have gone a long way to try and right the ship.
