It was great- hadn’t been out with these friends in a while so we lingered but no one made us feel rushed! I really appreciated that!
Everything was just ok. Wasn’t “wowed”.
The waitress was amazing, the food was delicious and the anniversary dinner was special.
They sat the two of us in the back, tiny room with two very large parties. We should of not accepted the table. They never came to bring us water till 12 minute wait. We could not have a conversation between the two of us with the noise. We have been going here since it opened. Not happy.
We had a party of twelve, ranging in age from 24-73 celebrating a 70th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, and the food, and the service was outstanding. We placed our orders in chaos but everything was delivered accurately.
We used to love going to Mitchells for date night. However, the last couple of times both the food and service were below average. We decided we will make the change to Bonefish Grill until things improve at Mitchell’s.
Food and waiter were absolutely wonderful. Only downside was when the hostess told us that because we booked online they don’t always have the table available and wasn’t sure if they could seat us... Excuse me?
Mitchell's is always consistently good. Good quality food and superior atmosphere than Bonefish.

Cobb salad is excellent.
I took my son here for his 18th birthday because he loves seafood. Everything was perfect, except that we were seated outside the restaurant, next to the entrance to the Galleria. There were some annoying kids in front of the entrance with their oblivious parents and they basically stood there, being loud and keeping the door open so that the cold air came in. Don't recommend sitting in the entrance seating when it's cold out.
Other than that, the food was amazing, the drinks (even the non-alcoholic ones) were incredible, as was the coffee. Our waiter was really cool and he made my son a caramel cappuccino on special request and he did a great job! It was pricey but totally worth it!

Our daughter from CT loves fish and seafood, but she had never been to Mitchell's, when visiting us. She loved it......was very impressed with everything she was served. All our food was good. We were there as her guests to celebrate some good medical news I had received, that day, and it was an excellent place to do so! Quality. Our server was very efficient, warm and upbeat.....nice to be served by someone who seems to really enjoy her work.
Food was good but waiter got order wrong and didn’t correct the issue when we told him about it. Finally was able to have order corrected.
Quick meal at the bar area
My husband and I went for a nice dinner out on a Saturday. It was very crowded (what we expected). The food was awesome. The service was slow. We waited quite awhile for a menu and water. We saw our drinks on the bar for at least 5 minutes before we were served. We were not in a hurry, so the less than great service was okay, but I would complain to manager if this happened again.

I'm so glad Mitchell's participated in restaurant week. I'd never been to either location and we didn't know the location closer to us existed until Bryan noticed them on restaurant week.
The food was AMAZING. Bryan warned me to save room for the shark fin pie, thankfully. I don't eat dessert at restaurants often, but the shark fin pie is worth it!
I tried the gumbo and tuna bowl, which were both good. I loved my jambalaya and the asparagus took a while to get used to (a bit softer than I prefer), but it was good. The shark fin pie was beyond amazing, but I'd recommend getting the SMALLER portion unless you have a table of 4 or more. Splitting the big one with two people was too much. Delicious, but too much - even when I saved half my jambalaya for lunch.
The service was wonderful. Our waitress, Lisa, was so fast & stealthy that I didn't always realize she'd filled my water until I'd look down and see that it was full. The manager was also very friendly.
We'll definitely be repeat customers and look forward to many more delicious meals at Mitchell's. I wanted to try almost everything on the menu, so I'm sure I'll eat there many times before repeating a dish (other than getting the mini shark fin pie to share).

Even tough I had a reservation the only table they had was by the entrance in the bar. We eat here regularly and usually the service is predictably good. Took an hour to get bread for the table and only received it after freaking eight the manager. Our server was non existent after he took ur order. When he did stop and check in with us he constantly apologized telling us he had a table of 10 that was taking up all his time.
Below average everything. Not a good experience but our check was adjusted for cold food.
Great food and excellent service. Loved the indoor parking on a frigid night.
Our food was average in quality, but was priced reasonably. The spinach salad was by far the best part of the meal. The cod stuffed with lobster and shrimp was served lukewarm and was dry, even with the garlic wine sauce. The serving of smashed potatoes was huge but they were very heavy and also dry. Our waiter was attentive but seemed to have a hearing problem, or perhaps it was a listening problem. My husband asked for a Bud lite and he responded with "how would you like your Manhattan?" My friend ordered lobster bisque and scallops and he asked her if she would like soup or salad with that. At the end he asked how would we like to divide the check and we told him my husband and I would be on one check and the other couple would be separate. He brought one check and so we ended up splitting the cost.
The restaurant is popular and packed - the tables are very close together and everyone can hear each other's conversations. I would call this a "utility restaurant," definitely not a destination.

Everything was perfect!
The restaurant is usually one of our favorites. The food was fantastic as usual, but being sat in the corner bar booth on NYE was a bit disruptive. Our server was pleasant but he was very overwhelmed. We could see him standing at the bar when we needed drinks, we're waiting on water refills, waiting on our check, it was very disappointing.
Seated immediately (with a reservation) on New Year's Eve which was great. A little noisey but that was primarily due to an adjacent large group in a smaller room. Service was attentive. I ordered the Sam Adams Beer Battered Fisherman's Platter which is always quite tasty with more food than I can eat.
We have a family tradition of going to Mitchell’s for New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere is lively and friendly and the fish always is good. We had trout, mahi mahi and jambalaya. All delicious.
