We always have a good meal but tonight was excellent! I had the spring halibut special which was beautifully presented and delicious. My date had the filet, which was perfectly cooked. Service was outstanding.
Food was excellent and so was service. Was husband's birthday and they made him feel special with menu marked and dessert.
Our lunch started out good, everyone ordered.our food came out and things started to go down hill. As a server your job is to know who ordered what and bring it to them how they ordered it. My children's food was mixed up. An one ordered plain pasta with shrimp on the side. And instead got pasta with shrimp. When I mentioned it I got an ok, so you want me to take the shrimp out. As we started to enjoy this meal. My middle son Begin to cough and pulls a piece of crab shell out of his mouth. We wait for the server and my son gets sick. So after 10 min in the bathroom. The manager checks on him.(definite thank you to the bartender for the towels and the maintenance gentle) so we return to the table, ask for the check and I'm expected to pay for the meal that made my son sick. Really?? I had to ask for it to be taken off. Then the manager comes over as if he's surprised I don't want to pay. We have went to Mitchell's in many cities but we won't be back to this one. I feel like we shouldn't have been paying for any of it, totally ruined my son's birthday and our lunch.
The waiter went out of his way to get us a dish that wasn't on the menu. He was also attentive without being overbearing. Very pleasant evening.
My daughter and son in law’s birthday was on March 27th and April 1, we were celebrating!
We always have a great experience at Mitchell’s. The dumplings were a welcoming and exciting new appetizer. The chef’s feature was delicious and the halibut was fantastic. The ambiance is always pleasant, welcoming and even when is full, the back room can be an intimate retreat where you can have a nice conversation.
We live nearby and go to Mitchell's on occasion and always like. I don't find the food very exciting or even interesting, but I like the people who work there (always all pleasant) and
service is very even.
Christian is an outstanding server with courteous and personable attention. We requested him, though all of the servers here are quite good. Lobster bisque was quite good and lobster tails were, as well. Plenty of butter was served with the lobster. Thank you. We always enjoy the bread at this location served with sweet butter. Loved the beverages, too!
Was able at the last minute to get our favorite table, good food, and service, though the prices of Shanghai chilian sea bass I thought was a bit high.
Mitchell’s comes through every time. Great food and outstanding service!
Predictably good, fresh seafood. Good service and not rushed , in spite of being a busy Easter Sunday.
Went to Mitchell's at the Galleria two weekends in a row. They have made great improvements to their menu over the last couple of years. The char-grilled oysters are wonderful (a little pricey but worth it). The fish here is excellently prepared and very fresh. The presentation is a cut above. They serve some of the best Lobster Bisque in the Pittsburgh area. Highly recommend for seafood lovers. Service was excellent both times.
This was our first time trying brunch at Mitchell’s and my crab Benedict was absolutely delicious!
Great food, nice atmosphere. Works as both casual dining and a place to take friends/visitors.
Food took a long time, but was worth the wait. It was a Friday during Lent.
Seated at bar in booth. The sanitizing odor from the restrooms was prevalent during our time there. All other aspects of the experience were good.
It was really nice and the staff was nice even though we were late for our reservation
It was great- hadn’t been out with these friends in a while so we lingered but no one made us feel rushed! I really appreciated that!
Everything was just ok. Wasn’t “wowed”.
The waitress was amazing, the food was delicious and the anniversary dinner was special.
They sat the two of us in the back, tiny room with two very large parties. We should of not accepted the table. They never came to bring us water till 12 minute wait. We could not have a conversation between the two of us with the noise. We have been going here since it opened. Not happy.
We had a party of twelve, ranging in age from 24-73 celebrating a 70th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, and the food, and the service was outstanding. We placed our orders in chaos but everything was delivered accurately.
We used to love going to Mitchells for date night. However, the last couple of times both the food and service were below average. We decided we will make the change to Bonefish Grill until things improve at Mitchell’s.
I was surprised by the lack of engagement by the hostess stand staff. Seemed unaware as to what else was happening in the restaurant
Food and waiter were absolutely wonderful. Only downside was when the hostess told us that because we booked online they don’t always have the table available and wasn’t sure if they could seat us... Excuse me?
Mitchell's is always consistently good. Good quality food and superior atmosphere than Bonefish.
Was excellent seafood. Becky did a great job with taking care of us!
Great fish sandwiches for lent
Fabulous food and service! We have never been disappointed!
Amazing dinner, had the crab dip!! Worth the $14!! Great dinner, great food!! I was impressed since I had never been there before!! Definitely will go again!!! 😁😁😁
Fresh fish is the best and most important reason to visit Mitchell's. Perfectly prepared and excellent sides also.
Very good food and over the top service!!
60th Wedding Anniversary dinner with family, our server Lauren was very patient & wonderful. Thanks!
Cobb salad is excellent.
I took my son here for his 18th birthday because he loves seafood. Everything was perfect, except that we were seated outside the restaurant, next to the entrance to the Galleria. There were some annoying kids in front of the entrance with their oblivious parents and they basically stood there, being loud and keeping the door open so that the cold air came in. Don't recommend sitting in the entrance seating when it's cold out.
Other than that, the food was amazing, the drinks (even the non-alcoholic ones) were incredible, as was the coffee. Our waiter was really cool and he made my son a caramel cappuccino on special request and he did a great job! It was pricey but totally worth it!
Another enjoyable experience
Loved the Cobb salad with shrimp and lobster it was absolutely delicious
A wonderful meal with great service! Had the salmon with a burbon maple bacon sauce and it was great!!
Our service was great, but for 8 of us trying to talk the music was a little loud.
Great new Sunday Brunch menu. Omelette is delicous and the garnishes quite upscale.
