Great place to have a meal with friends. Food is outstanding, service was good. Would recommend to anyone who loves seafood
Great entre and very professional service.
Christine did a great job answering our questions and lead us to some delicious food. Nice relaxing evening and did not feel rushed.
The overall experience was good. Service was a bit slow with dishes piling up and water glasses empty. However the food was properly cooked and came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Our server Lakeshia was very professional...prompt,courteous, warm and friendly. Our experience was so much more enjoyable than the last time we were there. It was my husband's birthday and he had a great time, thank you. Therefore, in the future, we will not stay away for two years.
Visiting Cleveland for a wedding.
We enjoy Judy serving us! Always consistent quality food.
Everything was great except for the second time when making a reservation through Open Table the restaurant didn't let Open Table know I had honored my reservation and I had to correct the error.
Service was very slow in the beginning but improved as the evening progressed. Good food as usual
Amazing appetizers, our server was professional and warm. The special menus and complimentary desserts for the birthdays being celebrated were a wonderfully special touch. We will definitely be back!
Food quality is definitely on the decline here. I can remember when you couldn’t get a table here. Now you don’t even need a reservation. $165 (excluding tip - and only one cocktail) is way too much for two adult and a child for dried out, average sized entree portions which they attempt to off-set with heaping helpings of mashed potatoes. Used to like this place. No more. Our server was a very nice young man who knew almost nothing about the dishes.
Just not the food you would expect from as Landry group restarsunt. Service is fine but the food is really not that good
We had Easter lunch at Mitchell's. Our table was ready at the reservation time, and the food choices were great. Portions were good - no leftovers, but enough on each plate. The choices for different preparations for fish entrees are great, allowed each of us to pick what we liked.
Definitely worth going back!
It was the last Friday of Lent. We went for their great fish and chips.. Ample portions. Had an excellent house salad in addition to slaw that comes with the entree. Tia, our server was excellent.. The combo plate was very good also. Even though it is a busy place , it is not noisy. Good lighting etc...will go back soon
Table was too small. Hostess and waitress had an attitude. Probably won’t go back
Great meal! I have been here a few times and it has been good every time! Service was great. Both of us were choosing between two different meals and the server’s recommendations were great! Will definitely return!
We always enjoy Mitchell’s food. Judy is a wonderful server!
Food was outstanding! The hostess and staff were ok not very personal-able. Our waitress was ok. I don’t expect to be entertained but smiles and friendliness are important.
Excellent fresh seafood. Good service. Good value.
Food sadly didn't meet previous experiences. Everything had the sense of lacking care in preparation or having been done at the rush, this included the underbake bread through to the entree. The particular table we were sat at was in dire need of repair. Was also every disappointed they did not seat my guest on his arrival, and despite a reservation there was a brief delay as they looked for a clear table.
Edward, the server, was a delight however and easily the highlight.
However, it was (apart from Edward) a visit marred by a sense of a business going through the motions and lacking care in the kitchen.
Excellent service and excellent food - as always.
Good food. Good service. Good meeting place.
Very nice dining experience. Really great Happy Hour selection for a couple of drinks at the bar before dinner. Skilled and friendly bartender.
Outstanding seafood choices, too many for one visit. Have to come back. Great taste. Friendly server, nice table for our anniversary.
My wife and I met at Mitchell 's 12 years ago. It has always had a special meaning for us and never disappoints. The fish is always excellent. The service was attentive and professional. The noise level was good. Although the restaurant was full we could easily carry on a conversation.
The food was very good. The service was great. Yummy desserts too.
I was with a party of five. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant seemed moderately busy. Our server was very good, and very busy, however. The only place that showed up in the way we were served was that she had to wait what seemed a little long for bar service. The food was very good from the testimony of those at the table, and one appeared to be a standout crab leg dinner. Only one person had desert, and he raved about it. All in all, a pleasant evening.
We brought a New York friend who doesn’t eat beef and thought this a perfect place for her. Everything was wonderful and we could sit and talk comfortably. Our server was exceptional!! I wish they were all like her in all restaurants.
My friends, wife, and I enjoyed our dinner. Our server Tia was delightful.
This is my second time eating at this restaurant. Everything was great - service, food, no wait time to be seated, I will eat here again.
Service was terribly slow
Always a good, healthy choice for lunch or dinner.
Our server Deidre (sorry if I misspelled her name) was great! We ordered a bottle of White Zinfandel that was pretty tasty, well worth the price! I ordered the perfect pair but the lobster tail was over cooked; had to ask for drawn butter because it was so dry. Not a big deal though, we could tell the kitchen was busy! We will definitely come back soon!
We were there to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was very full. The food was very good and there was a particularly good seafood selection. The décor was nice, but the noise level was somewhat high for an establishment of this caliber. Music playing over the speakers only added to the din. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
First time at Mitchell’s. Food was fantastic! Had Shanghai style salmon. Sauce was wonderful. Waiter was pleasant and professional. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was simply delicious as always, service was excellent , will definitely return again
What a shame. This place has really gone down in the last year. I ordered crab legs and wife ordered twin lobster tails. Legs were advertised 1.5 lbs for 43.00. I received 3 legs with no claws. It was 1 lb at the most. No complaints on the wife's lobster. We ordered the mini shark fin pie to split for desert. We have had this several times before and it was always big enough to share. The waitress brought the pie and it was so small, I don't think we would have gotten 2 bites each for 5.00. I sent it back and was offered nothing else. This place does not care about pleasing the customer. We drive 35 miles to go here but will never again. This is the third bad experience in a year. The manager Carmen is a total waste. She just struts her stuff around like she is someone special. I can't believe corporate keeps her. Total bill with 2 drinks 113.00. Not cheap by any imagination. There's better choices for seafood in Cleveland. Don't spend your hard earned money here.
Expensive for what was offered on the menu versus what was received.
The hostess did not understand my last name - I have hearing loss. They were very noisy and busy. Our server was Matthew - I still have my receipt.
When I arrived it seemed as if we didn’t have a reservation. We were finally seated and it was nice server was nice.. Ordered my food and the entree itself was cold, so I tell the server, He takes it back. Comes back with warmer sides but not the entree.. it was a bad experience for my first time.. The manager cane over and asked was it better and I told her no.. she offered to take it back but I had this feeling as if my entree would come back out cold still with warmer sides so I declined the offer.. She offered me free dessert but I was so turned off that I didn’t even want that.. I’ll never go back.
It was Valentines Day so it was busy but the food seemed a little dried out and over cooked. Not as good as what I have experienced in the past.
