   The server was great, but she was the only server during lunch. The plates remained on our table for a very long time after we finished eating. I actually cleared all of the dishes myself, putting them on a nearby table where people had left, as I wanted to give my friends a gift, and could not place it on the table with all of the dirty dishes.

   Excellent service with attention to detail. Unfortunately, the food was hit or miss. The iceberg wedge salad was fresh, flavorful and split in half as my husband and I were sharing. The walleye was delicious. Unfortunately, the halibut had a very fishy taste. Smashed potatoes and vegetables were all fine. But very disappointed in the halibut, especially at $42. Since Mitchell's prides itself on fresh fish, I'm not sure if we'll return soon.

   I was a little concerned when I read the Mothers Day reviews, but was very pleased. Food was great, service was outstanding (Ashley was outstanding), staff was pleasant, welcoming and polite. Overall a great experience.

   As much as I enjoy Mitchell's Seafood Restaurant, I was not happy with my overall experience. Most likely the issues could have been not enough staff and Mother's Day. I wish my family would have enjoyed it better.

   I will never again step a foot in the restaurant. Now I totally understand that it was Mother’s Day and that the restaurant was busy. But everyone’s food in my party was cold meaning that the food was sitting instead of being brought to us. Our waiter never said anything about the lengthy amount of time it took to get our food. He never checked on us to see if we needed refills for our drinks and never checked on us even after our food came to see how everything was I really had high hopes for this place but me and my family were let down. 😫😩🥺😢

    We came in on Mother's Day and the service was very slow. Fortunately, they brought out my children's meals and they we were able to eat. But all the adults waited over an hour for our food to come out. Once the food came out, I received the wrong order which they corrected but my mom's fish was dry and everyone else did not thoroughly enjoy their lukewarm food. Mitchell's use to be really good but this last experience made me not want to go back again.

    It was Mother’s Day, so we expected it to be busy. However, we sat at our table for at least a half hour before anyone even asked us what we wanted to drink. The waitress came to our table reaking of cigarette smoke. Then, when our food came out, it was warm and within a matter of minutes it was freezing cold. Ever eat cold fish? It’s not the most pleasant, especially when you are treating your mother for Mother’s Day. They did give us a discount and removed a bottle of wine from our check. Needless to say we will not be coming back here.

    The food was mediocre and overpriced for what we had. Would not recommend if looking for quality and taste. I would have been happier with a McDonald’s fish sandwich.

    A great choice for high quality seafood from a great chef! My wife and I have been looking forward to coming back and we were not disappointed! The restaurant has a good atmosphere and I'd like to come back to sit on the bar area.

    Waiter was hurrying us through dinner. Shrimp was over cooked. Plates were obviously waiting a while to be brought out as the mashed potatoes were dried out on top. Overpriced. This place used to be better. Not going back anytime soon.

    Sea Bass was rubbery, undercooked and not flakey. The other dinner had undercooked potatoes and overcooked scallops and shrimp. They did replace the Sea Bass with trout, and it was cooked well. Have dined at Mitchell's many times and have been satisfied previously so possibly just an off day.

    The shrimp cocktail was very overcooked. Our food was average. Our server was lovely and working very hard but she was taking care of a huge party and many other tables so we waited a while to give our order and also for our food. The hill was pricey for the quality so I don’t think we will be back.

    Celebrating niece birthday! Portion of food didn’t match price of food. Got salmon, rice and asparagus. Rice was dry no butter or seasoning size of salmon was for a kid asparagus was okay.

    We went to celebrate our parents 54th anniversary. The server was good but never said Happy Anniversary until we brought it up at the end. We spent around $575 dollars for 1 out of 7 people to be satisfied with their food. Mitchells used to be really good with food quality, taste and portions. There’s a huge decline and we will not be going back unless it’s for takeout key lime pie.

    Our server named Mary was the absolute worst we’ve ever had,at no time did she inquire if we needed anything or how was our meal,she took our order and we did not see her again until I requested from another server if they could please go find her,she received a 10% tip, however,if we would’ve received better service she would’ve gotten a 30% tip bc we tip very generously and according to the service we received….     Ashley was a great server and very friendly. The other server a man was also very kind and friendly. The crème brûlée was all runny so I am prettier sure it wasn’t cooked. My husband and son enjoyed the crab legs but found it odd that these beautiful legs were broken up into a pot. When you are spending over $100 for the crab legs the presentation should be top notch.     This establishment has gone downhill over the past two years. Our server was very good, but overbooked. Our appetizers and salads arrived in expected times, but we waited a while for our entrees. The appetizer was over cooked. Our salads were over dressed. The entrees were underwhelming. We will not go back.

    I am a big fan of Landry's restaurants. This was my first, and probably last, visit to Mitchell's Fish Market. The food and service was slightly better than Outback or Long Horn but at double their prices it just isn't worth it. My mistake was assuming that since their prices were similar to Morton's and Del Frisco's, the food would be of similar quality. It wasn't.

    Birthday dinner for my husband. The crab cake was excellent. My stuffed lobster, barely had enough stuffing. My shrimp was over cooked & my asparagus was tasteless (no seasoning). Only things I really enjoyed was my mashed potatoes & crab cake.

    I made the reservation for 6:30 a couple hours earlier in the day and was surprised I could get one on such short notice. I was excited for the dinner to see my friends and I hadn’t dined in this location before. Upon entering the hostess couldn’t have ruder. No hello, welcome or whatever. Told her we had a reservation, our name and time. For a minute I didn’t think we had one because of the body language the hostess was giving off. She then fumbled w the menus looked at me and I assumed I was to follow. When at our table we asked and pointed “could we have the table over there ?” Once again the hostess seemed aggravated with our request and lead us to a table in the other direction. I asked the hostess and pointed again, “ I was referring to that table over there, she replied “I need that table for six people” and walked away. So we sat. I was pretty much stunned. And by the brief silence so was my wife and the other couple. I dont think I’ve ever been treated worse in a restaurant in my life. I didn’t say it out loud but I didn’t think we would be staying for dinner. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by Ed. Waters we’re on the way and we were still trying to get over what just happened and hoping our dinner isn’t a complete Bust. Without delay, Ed is FANTASTIC! We ordered drinks and apps, then salads and entrees. Ed couldn’t have been nicer. He is still one of the few that I can call a professional server. The food was good, service was great. We had a really nice dinner. It was fun to see our friends that we hadn’t had dinner with in awhile. LOL…. Ed was fun! I asked him how long he had been working at Mitchell’s and I think he said 9 years. That is terrific. Hats off to Ed. I realize times are tough and finding staff to work is a struggle. I know my 300+$ is not going to make or break your restaurant. But my 300$ almost walked out the door last night. The hostess might want to consider another career other than hospitality.

    There was a large party so we had to wait an hour for our food. I ordered the Mitchell’s Trio and the shrimp was over cooked and very chewy. The salmon was great and the crab cake was undercooked. The potatoes were tasty but it wasn’t that great of an experience for the price. I really enjoyed our server. She was tentative and polite.
