Food was good server was nice but the service was slow at times.
Tried to seat us in the busiest pathway, near the kitchen - even though we had a reservation! Hostess moved us to bar area instead. Waitress took our order without writing it down. When she repeated it to us, she had details mixed up. We corrected her & she placed our order. Another couple came in shortly after us & ordered with another waitress. Their meals came & they were nearly finished when ours finally arrived. My meal was accurate - my husband’s was not. I had ordered scallops, he ordered salmon. She brought 2 scallop dinners. No surprise since the waitress wrote nothing down. I finished my meal before my husband’s finally arrived. She comped my husband on his drink, but this whole dining event was clearly not enjoyable.
Disappointing. Slow service, looked like pre-packaged fish most likely frozen in the past. So many better places for the price. No wonder they had time slots available in a Friday night. Avoid place. Not worth the money.
Our server Regina was excellent! She was knowledgeable and professional. The Clam Chowder was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their entrees which was served piping hot. We even got desert. We have a very nice dining experience. 😋
Food was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent.
Always the best servers with proper social distanding.
We were there at lunch. The menu isn't as extensive as pre-covid, but there were still many good choices. The food took a long time to come, but was very good. The service was substandard. I think the problem might have been that there was only one waitress serving a lot of tables.
The server was very polite and she made sure we enjoyed our outing 5 star rating!!
Excellent food, The waitress was polite, attentive with a pleasant attitude and very accommodating
I actually love Mitchell’s but this trip was a let down the food was bland.
Great food, great service and a quiet atmosphere made our birthday celebration one of the best.
Pleasant experience with great service and food. The only complaint would be the Lobster Bisque did not have much lobster meat in it, maybe one piece. But the other food was tasty and a good value.
Our waitress was hard to understand and she didn’t understand us. The soup was cold and tasteless, the portions small and the prices high.
A very disappointing evening out on the town. I ordered calamari and it had so many French Fries sprinkled throughout it, looked and tasted like it had been fried in old grease. The managements explanation was that they cook the calamari in the grease as the fries. Food presentation was a zero and I will never be back again. My server ignored me and my partner after we voiced our concerns.
First time dining at Mitchell's. Would definitely return. Menu selections were a variety. Wine was superb! Our waitress was phenomenal!
Pre-COVID this was one of our all-time favorites restaurants. I rarely take time to review, but the food was so bad on this visit I feel compelled to comment. Waitress came to apologize that our orders had been mistakenly taken to another table, and they would re-do soon. After about 20 minutes, she brought our dinners. My Snapper was cold, and the green beans/broccoli looked like it had been stored in a container in my refrigerator for a week, and re-heated. She apologized, took the food back, re-heated and returned. It was honestly difficult to even cut the fish. ? Possibly they returned our plates from someone else, they sat there for a bit, they tried to re-heat and return to us. Listen, I get that COVID has changed so many things, and I understand, and I really want to support the restaurant industry and staff, but we were looking forward to one of our first nights out to a restaurant in a long time, and this made me realize my cooking is so much better. We will support other restaurants, but will be difficult to return here.
We did not have good service and that can make or break the restaurant. Food was excellent
Went to Mitchell's for Valentine Day. Enjoy everything Got seated immediately. We had reservations. Everyone working there seemed to be involved in coordinating every function. The food was excellent also the service
Average food , average experience the spinach that came with the fish n rice meal could’ve been fresher , it looked like it was old .
We went for valentines day I had the crab stuffed salmon and my salad was so fresj
The only thing I didn’t like is sitting by the kitchen. But the server Alexis was great along with the food and service. I will come back again.
Wait for entree was long. Food was overcook for entire table. Let waiter know and no one from management bothered to visit table. Went from being one of my favorite restaurants to one I would visit.
I think the waitress was overwhelmed
Celebrated my Birthday with Husband and friends. It was nice. Food could've been a little warmer.
Our server took almost 10 minutes to greet us upon being seated. The decor is a slight notch above red lobster. Our cocktails took at least 15 minutes before they were served. The jumbo shrimp appetizer was not jumbo and we were not given appetizer plates. We did have bread plates with no bread. After requesting bread we were finally given some. My husband ordered a salad which was about the side salad size at Panera. My husbands salmon was very jelly in the middle. Overall we were disappointed.
Food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very helpful.
Since COVID, we are doing more lunches in order to avoid crowds. Mitchell’s has a nice bar area where they seat in every other booth if it happens to be busy. Service is very good(friendly and attentive) and prices reasonable for the amount and quality of the food.
We came out for the "Two-Tails Tuesday". My husband loves lobster tails! I found an entree of scampies with filet. Everything was cooked to order, and we were very happy. We topped it off with cheesecake with chocolate and caramel drizzle. Altogether, a great experience.
Our server was the best. I was impressed with the small , one glass, wine decanter she used for us. Really made an average red wine taste much much better.
Good food just took a minute to get everything at one point!
Rachel was our server and she did a great job! She was very timely and took real good care of us. She gave us great suggestions as well. The Chilean sea bass was great and the lobster bisque was awesome! Wish their were bigger chunks of lobster, but still very good. My wife had the crab cake and shrimp which she said was delicious as well. Definitely will go back!
Server was good
Wedge Salad was $10.00 Small portion had 2 tomato. Too much money value not good
Chilian sea bass good $38.00, However It came out while I was still eating my salad so by the time I finished salad and got to it it was cold.
$200.00 bill with tip for 4 and no one drank
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with her twin sister! Great time had by all at Mitchell’s!
One fish was overcooked but quickky remedied with a beautiful piece
We love the quality of the food and Rachel is a fantastic server.
Girls date food was amazing
We ordered grilled snapper that came out as tough as chicken instead of light and flaky, not sure what the problem was. Of course they took it off the bill and the manager was very accommodating. But the dinner salad wasn't good/fresh either. Just expect more for an upscale dining place.
Restaurant was busy between seated diners and pick up but waiter was attentive and pleasant.
Rachel outstanding as always great food
Birthday celebration. The food took 45mins to come. The soup was cold and the wedge salad. Literally was a hunk of lettuce with two cherry tomatoes, bacon bites in slinkies in the plate not the lettuce. I asked for ranch dressing received blue cheese. The fish batter was crunchy outside and mushy inside. The cod with shrimp and what said lobster but there wasn't any lobster. The experience was unpleasant and I won't be coming back there.
