Service was exceptional, raw bar and appetizers were very good - however our entrees were overpriced and not anything special.
Service and food were excellent.
First trip to Mitchell's was very enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent.
Had not dined at Mitchell's for about a year, and never before at this location ... prefer the West Chester location over the Levee.
Expected the service and food to be good, but not near as good as it was. Noise level was what I remember a finer restarauant enviornment being back in the 50's, 60's and early 70's ... not the playground loud it has evolved into ... could have been because it was the day after a holiday and summer vacation time, so wasn't the usual lunch attendance.
The food was far better than I remembered our waitress was wonderful, definately will return to this location.
We took our son and daughter-in-law there for their birthdays, it was their first time and they loved it definitely will be coming back! Our server was awesome
Great service and always great food. Good value too for what you get.
The food was very good and our server, Sara, did an excellent job!
The crab and shrimp dumplings were soooo good. Always enjoy dining at Mitchell's. Like to take our time ordering and eating and they allow this!
Not as good as previous visits. Guest ordered a salad that was $9 and the lettuce was wet and there was dirt at the base of most leaves. She did not want to send it back or complain about it. My scallop and shrimp dish was just ordinary and the sticky rice was not sticky. Have to say my gin and tonic was ample and priced nicely. I had made reservations for 6:15 and was confirmed on my cellphone, but not on the list. We were able to be seated. Disappointed in experience.
Food at this mostly seafood restaurant is worth a taste. The lobster-shrimp rolls were very tasty. The lobster meat combined nicely with the shrimp for a great flavor. The rolls stood up to the filling without breaking apart. The accompanying fries were very good, hot and crispy. Service was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed out meal.
No butter for the bread. Had to ask twice. The second time she said they didn’t have any made up. 45 minutes before we were served and the glass of wine was delayed. Also the prices had gone up quite a bit. Used to be our favorite restaurant but no more.
The West Chester location is wide open and loud. Too loud to hear each other at our table. No character just a large open room crammed with tables.
We felt like a burden
Happy with experience
Way too much butter on everything...bread, shrimp, potatos
Had use of the captains quarters with 11 in our party- food was excellent
The food here is always great. Our server was also wonderful!
I was one of the first reservations of the evening so service was very fast. The raw oysters were too large and bland. I ordered the sesame tuna which was perfectly done.
I will not be going back to Mitchell’s. I have eaten there many times, and each time I am reminded why I am not a fan. First of all the bread is super sour, to the point of being inedible. I have been to many high end restaurants and I have never had bread that tart. Second it seems the fish is alway drench in some kind of buttery sauce, that takes away from tasting any of what the fish takes like. I have ordered many different things on the menu, and I was never impressed with anything that I have ordered. Service is good, and ambiance is good.
Service was great. Annie did a great job!
The food was over cooked and not as fresh as it normally is. The salad and bread was very good and that wasn’t a disappointment. It will be a while before we return again.
Generally fine seafood at a reasonable price.
Only drawback: music load and irritating. Completely inappropriate for relaxed dinner.
Dinner was very tasty. Had salmon on cedar plank.
Great waitress and food. Couldn’t have wished for a better place today!
The "signature" dish was halibut over a pea and onion saute with small potatoes. The peas were SO over cooked they looked and tasted like they came from a can and the potatoes were mushy. The fish was very overcooked and quite dry in the middle. Very disappointing...
Mitchell’s - great seafood reliably cooked to perfection, as always - good seafood is often hard to find in the Midwest.
First time visit, food was good but expensive.
The food was amazing! And the service was good too. I liked the ambience and the atmosphere of the restaurant. I would definitely come here again! My favorite dish was the crab and shrimp linguine.
Great seafood restaurant. The seafood is very fresh and can prepared in a number of different ways. There are also signature dishes which are would appeal to the more discerning eater. Whatever type of meal you are looking for, you would be able to find it here. I happened to have the shrimp and crab linguini in a light wine garlic sauce. The handmade pasta was al dente and very flavorful. My husband had the tuna which was also excellent. A definite go to restaurant if you like seafood.
Fine evening of dining!
Great food and service albeit pricey.
We came here to celebrate my birthday. The food was wonderful. The service was attentive. In other words a positive experience
Had a great time, sitting in bar area made difference, server and meal were both excellent
Excellent place for all occasions! Wonderful service!
family gathering. food was excellent, our server was prompt and friendly (but not too friendly!! over all great!
Food was terrific and plentiful.
Just a little noisy
Very disappointing. Used to be a great place for seafood. After last visit it rates just above Red Lobster in my opinion but a lot more expensive. The quality of the food did not live up the the expense. At this price level I expect a lot more and did not get it.
Probably last time to go to Mitchell's
Food was good but the noise level was bad. They were cleaning something in the kitchen and it was really loud during our meeting.
