Went to celebrate a birthday. Service and food were excellent.
I indicated on my reservation that it was a special 17th Birthday but they never acknowledged such. In fact I had requested seating on the barside booth area but apparently they didn’t see that either. Not sure if the purpose of open table with special notations /requests if they aren’t going to use them. Waitress seemed to be more bothered with the fact she had to serve us.
Me and my wife went out for the evening. Had a wonderful time. Great food and Spirits!
Excellent service during a very busy night. Our dinners were delicious even though my shrimp was a little overcooked. Will definitely go back.
So Good! Excellent food and service
They have the best Happy hour menu. Filled up on a few appetizers.
Great food and service. Thank you!
Food was great. Server seemed uninterested in us after we didn't order appetizers and drinks. Perked up a little when she found out we are Landry's reward members but overall she was just average.
We went for our anniversary. They had the twin lobster tails on special and the lobster was FANTASTIC however the smashed red skin potatoes were a dry lumpy block we ask for butter and sour cream (which was promptly provided) they made the potatoes OK. The asparagus however was inedible. But they are a Fish House not a Vegetable House. So if you want Great Seafood but the sides are not important, should mention the soup was superior) then this is the place to go!
We arrive on time and was seated right away. They even changed us from a both to a table to accommodate someone with a disability. The server was good and when one of our dinner’s thought she had a problem with their food he checked with manager about what ingredients were in dish. The food arrived quickly and tasted great. Their was a big group near us so it was a bit nosey!
Wonderful service, delicious food. Booths are significantly worn, the first one I sat in dropped me down so low my chin was almost on the table. We had to change tables.
Good Seafood dinner. Went 'early' on Saturday and had the place nearly to ourselves. Husband had the King Crab leg dinner and I had the Twin Lobster Tails dinner. He added Clam Chowder & I added a salad, plus we had two desserts. Wasn't cheap but it was a good meal!
Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
We went on Tuesday for their Lobster Special! The lobsters were sweet and very juicy. It was the best Lobsters we had in a long time! It was perfectly done! I would have love for a different sauce for them, instead of the butter. It was a nice touch to have a warmer for the butter. We definitely will go back for more lobsters and maybe invite a friend or two to go with us next week.
Great food however this location in bad need of remodel. Booths are all original and your rear ends finds the plywood base very quickly! All the decor is from the original restaurant. A lot of competition in that area!
Excellent selection of fresh fish. Good choice. Recommend.
We celebrated our anniversary here. Quiet, nice atmosphere and our server, Adam, was wonderful! Food was delicious- we will be back
Delicious fresh seafood. Many options to prepare just the way you like it.
Adam was our server and he was great. He gave us recommendations on the menu and great descriptions of the food.
Food was excellent. We had a wonderful time and plan going ok
The staff even signed a menu and gave it to us for gift for our wedding anniversary gift. Nice memory.
Had a date Saturday. I was refer to the restaurant. Didn’t really care for my steak. Sent it back and had it cooked some more. Still wasn’t that great. Maybe I will try something else. Like the venue and had good service
The bisque is delicious, but avoid dining in the bar.
Ambience was not the best for Valentines day dinner. Table was located near a high traffic area. Would have preferred something quieter and more romantic.
Our server was Lauren, she was very attentive and answered our questions about the menu.
Our food was presented quickly and was delicious. We had the salmon with crabmeat special with smashed red potatoes and a vegetable.
The portion sizes have changed; I thought it was me but I heard others complain as well; our server had too many tables; we were hungry so we ate lukewarm food
Liked the new menu
We went here for Valentines Day so I was surprised they didnt seem staffed for it. It took 15 min to get our drinks which were ok but I've had much better. The menu has a good selection and the food came out timely and hot. It was good but not something you would come back for. Our service was ok. Did not get our drinks refilled until we were done eating. The ambiance of the bar is great but the actual restaurant is not attractive. Not bad but there is no reason to return.
We had a reservation and we were there 15 minutes early. The hostess said they were getting our table ready and I should check back in 15 minutes? Why should we come back to her? This wouldn't happen at other higher priced restaurants.
The bar staff was super slow and not nice. We waited at least 10 minutes sitting at the bar and no one came over to us. Our Waiter was good. Food was pretty good but not for the price. All the competition in the area no wonder why they weren't sold out!
Shrimp had no flavor. Redskin mash potatos were bland. Mac and cheese was noodles with water cheese sauce on the bottom. The filet Oscar was real good. Our server was fantastic. The food for the money wasn’t good enough to go back
It was a really good restaurant
Went for Valentine’s Day. The service was good, however, the room we were in was cold. We had to change tables once due to the cold air draft. Several ladies and a few gentlemen had to leave on their coats or jackets. We did request the room temp changed to warmer temp, but no noticeable change by the time we left. I ordered the lobster which was good, however, the jumbo shrimp cocktail was not jumbo shrimp but more medium size. My husband had the swordfish N’awlins style. He felt it was more like having gumbo. He really enjoyed the Caribbean style however, it is no longer in the menu.
I am not a seafood eater, but I went for my spouse. I ate pecan crusted trout and it was excellent.
service was very slow; husband never got the side salad he ordered; i got regular rice and not sticky rice; flavor of fish was flat. something has happened to this restaurant - use to be good.
Great food - good beer selection - good wine selection
It was my birthday dinner.
Terrible service from our waitress. Took a very long time for her to actually visit our table. At the end of our meal, we asked for a glass of water. After more than 15 minutes of waiting, we finally gave up and left- bought a bottle of water at the Barnes and Noble across the street on the way to our car.
Good location - easy to access. Nice ambience; good service and very good food. Would definitely return!
Only issue was the restaurant was very cold. All the customers were wearing their coats. I finally did ask about the temperature and they turned up the heat. By the dessert course it warmed up enough for us to take our coats back off.
My husband’s birthday
We left the restaurant after 15 minutes . Once seated several wait staff passed our table. No one said ‘hello’ or ‘we’ll be with you in a minute’. The table next to us ordered dessert, got their check, paid and we’re leaving and we didn’t even have water. The restaurant was not busy - half the tables were empty. We were never approached. Not welcoming - won’t be back.
