Everything was perfect. I love the seasonal additions to the menu - lots of spring vegetables and great new tastes. The Pacific Halibut & swordfish were our choices & they were wonderful !

My spouse and I visited the restaurant with my brother and 2 friends.

By the time we placed our order, one of the specials was depleted. Both my husbands and my salmon entrees (different selections) were bordering on uneatable and/dried out, and reservations to be seated were about 10-15 minutes behind schedule. It took a VERY long time for our food to arrive.

I guess that was to our advantage as the surge of busy activity in the bar took that long to be greeted by a bartender and receive a round of drinks. The area on the bar was dirty with previous customers glassware when we arrived so the volume was too much for the staff in the bar it seemed.

On a positive note, our server was attentive and the appetizers quick and delicious. The bread provided us time to not starve while we sat waiting for the long delivery of the entrees.

Usually our experience is better at this restaurant. We will have consider if we give them another visit to see if they’ve worked out the staffing volume/kitchen issues. We’ve had good experiences with them over the past 10 years both with our family and friends.

Our server appeared to be distracted and we assumed he was busy. Numerous things had to be requested twice or requested from another person. This is not uncommon during a Saturday night rush - however, our server never apologized, attempted to explain himself or otherwise acknowledge his mistakes. That is the part that we found distasteful. The food was good, as expected, but the service was definitely not.

We made reservations for a ‘celebration of life’ meal with our combined families. The place was not full, dining or bar. The wait staff was uneducated about products and made false comments. Our drinks took forever to get, the waiter said ‘sorry they’re out of a lot of stuff.’ Our meals were cold. The sword fish was thin like a pork chop and tough. The waiter then said ‘it’s out of season’! We sent 3 out of 10 meals back, 2 more should have gone back. One person didn’t even want another meal. Finally at this point the manager came out (way to late). She apologized, even said basically the waiter was lying about the sword fish not being in season (this is a Fish Market)!!! She said desserts on me. We each (3 couples) still had over a $200 bill each. Our meals should have been comped. This explains why on a Saturday night the place wasn’t close to full. It came highly recommended, but was a huge disappointment. It made a very bad ending to a very sad day.

Food was excellent. Our server seemed new. We had to ask for water and for bread. Other tables seemed to get their food more quickly than we did. But he was very professional.

Food was very slow to arrive. Side dishes came after we were finished with our meal. We were not charged for the late side dishes.

This was a favorite place for us to dine, but they need to staff better.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly/personalized service! The first time I have indicated in my reservation that we are celebrating something (tonight was anniversary) and the restaurant recognized it! They wished us happy anniversary and it was printed on our menu. Nice touch!

We had a very nice Easter dinner at Mitchell's. The food was excellent and our server Alexis was very kind and pleasant. The lobster and shrimp stuffed cod is always remarkable. Great job!

I normally like Landry's restaurants--but this location has dropped in quality drastically on my last 2 visits. We all went out for an Easter dinner, and I had the grilled rainbow trout. It was rubbery, unseasoned, with limp skin and didn't taste good. When paying $20 for a small piece of inexpensive fish like trout, it should be flaky with crispy skin and taste fresh.

We visited at 8pm on a Friday during Lent, so obviously it was crowded. The food quality was fantastic and everything we ordered was delish. We asked for a side dish as an appetizer and one member of our party ordered an appetizer for their main course. The waiter seemed a little put off by our choices, but it was unclear if it was a bad day or if our order was really the issue. The tables were also incredibly close together, causing the restaurant to be incredibly loud and awkward for the waiters to serve certain seats.

Obviously, being a seafood restaurant, the menu can be a bit pricey. I would highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese ($14) and the lobster bisque ($8 for a bowl)-although I wouldn't recommend ordering them both cometely for yourself as they're quite creamy.

Overall we had a good dinner and would return on a night we want seafood.

Great food - Sea Food platter is a fantastic value - enough for 2. Clam chowder is the best -a bowl will fill you. Wait staff was very attentive and quick. Always a pleasant experience.

Mitchell's always has dependably good seafood selections. The Shanghai Sea bass is my favorite. I split an order of mussels with my mother (who said that she did not want any) and found them to be quite Yummy -- or at least the few that my mom actually let me have. Raena and Collin provided excellent service.

We did not think that the food was up to the restaurant's reputation. Seemed to take forever for the soup and salad to be served. The server was very unattentive and rarely came back to check on our table.

We asked for a quieter place to sit due to hearing concerns. We were seated in a comfortable booth and served by an excellent attentive server, Alex. The food was served hot and was delicious. We all agreed that we would go back for another try. Since this was a birthday celebration, our birthday friend was given a delicious dessert, which we shared.

It does not get any better than the food and service at Mitchell’s. They just do things right and pay attention to detail. Wonderful fresh seafood experts prepared and service equal to some of the finest restaurants in the city. Our server Ben went above and beyond to make our dining experience perfect. For, example when he served our iced tea he brought an extra glass ice. The little things count! Also the food and service are consistent which is why I dine here a lot!

Went for $5 crabcakes which were very nice. The half dozen oysters on the half shell however were very small. Usually much meatier when we've ordered in the past. Server was on the ball.

We prefer the ambiance of the bar area for dining, and requested same, a couple days in advance on the reservation. The hostess, who seemed over-run on a busy Fri night, told us that Mitchell’s will only reserve a table, not a location. We were willing to wait, and eventually got our requested seating, but with a 20 minute wait, due in large part to insufficient staffing for bussing tables.

Our meal was good. The hospitality was mediocre.

We love Mitchells and have gone there for many years. We were disappointed when our four year olds chicken tenders were delivered to the table raw on the inside. A new plate was brought, but it was not removed from our bill.

We have eaten at Mitchell’s several times and had wonderful experiences. This time not so much. It was my sons 17th birthday dinner. He ordered king crab legs. It took an extraordinarily long time to get our food. His crab legs were cold and had to be sent back. The amount of crab was less than last time. Most of our meals had the look of plates that had been either microwaved or had been sitting under the warming lights for quite awhile. Our drinks were refilled only once, and most of us finished our meals with nothing to drink. The waitress did not come around much at all to check on our table. She seemed unfamiliar with most of the menu. We tried asking about several of the dishes and she had no answer. I’m not sure if she was new. I guess we were disappointed because we’ve always had such great experiences at Mitchell’s. The food isn’t cheap, and we don’t feel like we received quality meals to match the price.
