The signs that are displayed in window are offensive.

Great will come again servers attentive. Food a little too salty for all portions though, cut back a little as you can add at the table as desired.

Shrimp was outstanding. The dough of the short ribs empanadas was too firm...I recalled that they were light and flaky on our last visit.
Staff did a nice job of guiding our selections and socially distancing diners.

Great service amidst pandemic. Food was amazingly flavorful. Will definitely return for the paella.

The ceviches are incredible, the food came at a nice pace. One of the best dining experiences in town.

Fun cocktail, delicious summer salad and bruschetta toast. Yummy light shrimp and beef empanadas. Great strawberry dessert!

One of the best restaurants in Cincinnsti

Wonderful food! Amazing service. One of our favorite places to eat and celebrate special occasions. Food is taken with such care and the servers genuinely want you to enjoy your food and they give great recommendations. My favorite is the veggie el dorados and the salad with corn. I tried the ceviche and it wasn’t for me (I should have ordered something warm). However that is the great part about trying so many different small plates. My husband ordered the octopus and it was rustic, filling, and scrumptious. You won’t be disappointed!

I am so pleased to have been able to support this restaurant. We had a lovely evening. We always go to a chef Salazar restaurant for all special occasions.

I went in with my mother. We had never been in before and had no idea what to expect.

We sat down and started looking at the menu but everything sounded so good to one or both of us that we needed some recommendations. Our server made many recommendations and we tried every last one of them and loved them.

It was only at the end of the meal when we asked to speak to the manager in order to compliment our server that we realized we were served by the GM Christa, so we complimented the team that brought things to us while she was busy instead.

The guacamole is the best I've ever had anywhere, including my own that I make at home.

The small plates here are excellent -- in size, taste & presentation. That's why we returned & there were some new additions. Two of us shared five choices. It was just enough, plus dessert & drinks. My Lavanda (sp?) cocktail was a bit on the lean side of
a pour. We expected temps taken but we did not expect the questions about where we had traveled.

Hard to do a quality review during this bizarre time--Mita's was not very busy when in the past you could hardly ever dine there without a reservation. The vibe was very low-key (maybe a little too much Beatles music, but hey...). We sat at the bar; bartender was very attentive. The food has not suffered a bit--as good as always. I'm always hoping that there will be more vegetarian options on the menu, but I usually find something interesting--this time, the corn salad. Wine was good. Cheese was good. Husband tried the dish that chef-owner Jose Salazar used on Beat Bobby Flay, and he really liked it--since he usually goes for the octopus on Mita's menu, it was unusual that he tried something new. This restaurant is still one of Cincinnati's best, and I hope Jose Salazar can weather the economic storm; it would be a shame to lose his terrific restaurants.

Food was.outstandong. All the tapas were flavorful. Special bonus was a cupcake that gave is since it was our anniversary. It made us feel appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Delicious meal with excellent service. Social distancing was in place and everyone wore masks. It was our first time to eat out in a restaurant since February and I glad that we chose Mita’s. Clearly everyone in staff understands the seriousness of COVID-19 and acted accordingly. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent food and service. So many unique flavors and combinations of food we have not experienced at other places. Highly recommend! Close to Fountain Square, so easy to find parking. Very well done adhering to COVID restrictions.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff was great and very courteous and professional even with everything going on. Had a fantastic time celebrating our 10 yr anniversary there and will definitely come back.

It is always always superior! Food, service and atmosphere. I especially liked that both host and server sincerely thanked us for coming and continuing to support them during this difficult time. Wanted me to go back sooner!

Food and service was excellent. We appreciated the staff’s efforts to sanitize, temp scan and ensure distances.
If you drink alcohol, I highly recommend their Sangria. Refreshing and yummy.

We have had two amazing meals at this place, very good service, attention to detail. The presentations are always spot on and beautiful, the cuisine unique and delicious! It's a pricy restaurant but it backs it up with an excellent experience. We will go back for sure on any special occasion.

I'm sure that the dining room has more tables in a "normal" environment, but I loved how quiet and open the restaurant was. I didn't feel like I was sitting on top of my dining neighbors nor did I have to struggle to hear my dining partner. Mita's also clearly cares about the health and safety of its employees and customers by doing health and temperature checks of all patrons upon entering.

The food overall was super tasty. My husband's favorite was the tostones y guacamole, while mine was the ensalada de jicama y mango. We both agreed that we were not fans of the meat tapas, preferring the seafood and vegetarian options. The waiter told me that the red sangria tasted like fruit punch, and he was exactly right. I was not a fan; if you want more of a traditional sangria this is not for you. I also had a bourbon cocktail that was not on the menu and it was very good.

We would definitely come back again.

Food was excellent! Drinks were slow to be brought to table. Disgusted sitting at booth next to toilets with full view of toilet. I suggest a privacy panel in front of hallway to toilets.

Thoughtfully spaced tables and staff is extremely thoughtful about making sure everyone is safe. Food is excellent! Have never been disappointed. The Elote salad is summer in a bowl! Fantastic ceviche, guacamole with plantains is fresh and delicious. The provolone dish is incredible as are the chicken thighs!! Didn’t order charcuterie this trip, but it’s always beautiful. As with his other two restaurants, Jose Salazar hits the mark!

Mita’s so was good. The food was fresh and everything we tried was delicious. This is a topas restaurant so try several dishes. We really loved the steak taco, cheese sampler, sangria was amazing. Please support this restaurant it’s truly a wonderful experience.

Fresh food with eclectic mix of spices and ingredients. Despite being a vegetarian truly enjoyed the meal.

Mita’s is my favorite place in Cincinnati. Bright and vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and fantastic service. Perfect for just about any occasion, from happy hour, to special occasions, to corporate dinners after work or a convention.
