Upscale Spanish. Does a nice job with local ingredients. Paella was strictly okay, didn't have the crispy bottom and it got cold in a hurry. Cheese and bread were good, serrano ham was a tad pricey. Server was enthusiastic but disorganized. Good wine list.

Paella was a disappointment--- rice not cooked long enough.
Hardly any chicken in the dish.
Did ask if Tostones were available because not on the menu.
Fortunately kitchen had 2 orders left so we got some.
Very tasty and aioli sauce was nice.
Music does not go w/ Spanish theme--- too Caribbean/ beach type sounds !
You may not receive this review since NOT on Open Table anymore.
But hopefully you do!

Will try Tapas plates next time.
They did honor a gift card from Open Table-- this was good!

Mita's was a bit disappointing. The food was good, but not great for the price. The service was not good at all. We sat for a long time without even a hello, then we finally had our server come by and he seemed half asleep. Then when we asked for recommendations he reluctantly gave us a few things, but in no manner that sold me on anything. The only positive of the night was the wine, selected by the sommelier, which was a great pairing. With all the other options now downtown, we wont' be back.

If you have a taste for Spanish food Mita's will not disappoint. We had tapas and paella both of which were excellent.

This was our third time and as before the dishes we selected were excellent. We have not tried everything on the menu yet, still reasons to go back! We introduced our opera friends to Mita and they loved it. THE place for after opera dining, the menu and the setting allows one to enjoy reviewing of the performance as well as the food and wine.
THE RICE PUDDING IS TO DIE FOR!

First time visiting Mitas. The food was very good.. but thought the server had no enthusiasm. I would still visit Mita's again!

My husband and I were so impressed. This was our first time dining at Mita's. While pricier than some, Mita's was so worth it! Every dish from soup to dinner to dessert was a delightfully -- and delightfully unique -- mixture of flavors. Amazingly uncommon cuisine. We will be back. ... Unique cocktails as well, I should add.

Everything was excellent. I frequent restaurants at least three times per week and Mita is very good. Except for its people. Not very communicative and some even felt nervous and not comfortable in their own skin..could it be the training? or is the manager not an inspiring leader?

I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was our first time to Mita. We both had pleasant experience with food, service, and ambiance. The environment was happy and vibrant. Mixed crowd with all age groups. All the servers were very professional and soft spoken. Can't wait to go there again. It's pricy but we enjoyed the whole experience.

This is my new favorite downtown restaurant. The ambiance is perfect, and this comes from someone who is hyper sensitive to unattractive sonic and visual spaces. The seating is not jammed together, either. The octopus is my must-order dish, but I have not had anything bad on the menu, honestly. Wait staff is plentiful, friendly and knowledgeable. It is not cheap, but my wife and I spent about $120 before tax, having ordered multiple tapas, two drinks each and two desserts.

Mita's is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city. The food is just excellent and they feature a very creative menu with high quality ingredients, interesting cocktails, and a good wine selection. The space is just beautiful too, and they can accommodate larger parties. I have been to Mita's several times, and the quality is very consistent. My favorite part about this restaurant though is how accommodating the staff and the menu is to those of us with food allergies/intolerances. I recently celebrated my birthday here, and two of us at the table had food allergies. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, patiently answered all of our questions even though it meant several extra trips for him, and the menu had many dishes that were amendable to a gluten free diet. I realize its an extra burden for restaurants to fulfill a request for gluten free food, but it's very much appreciated by those of us that have a true medical condition so that we may be able to celebrate special occasions and socialize with our friends and family.

We sampled many of the small plates on our visit. The food was fantastic. My only disappointment was that we were seated in a booth toward the back where it was difficult to catch the attention of our server at times.

It was my choice for a birthday celebration with my family and it was the best choice and best birthday dinner ever! The paella that we shared was amazing, as was everything else we ate, plus the pitcher of white sangria for all of us was a great and economic choice! Service was exceptional, and I even got a chocolate cupcake with a candle in it as the birthday girl. We'll be back. There are a lot of menu items we need to try!

A glass of dry sparkling wine with charcuterie of 3 Spanish cheeses and garnish, a plate of Jamon Iberico, a bottle of Txakolina rose (a strong argument for choosing this restaurant to start), empanadas, other tapas...what's not to like?

I wanted to eat more, including a chocolate cake, but propriety and belt size argued otherwise. 🤔

Dress was casual to business casual. We had a table looking out on the street.

I plan to return.

Just amazing!
I have a vegan diet and there are not many places in Cincinnati that can change up their menu to offer such a great dish as I had at Mita's. I had dinner with my Godmother and husband who are not vegan so there were many options for them and they are as pleased as I am with Mita's.
Mita's is an all around great experience its a place that you want to take all you friends to so they too can have the same feeling. Mita's has great atmosphere, awesome cocktails amazing service and the food was five star!

This was truly a dining experience. The El Luchador cocktail was the best I have had in Cincinnati. Each plate that was put in front of us was a work of art and the flavors in each bite made you want to savor each bite. My mother made a comment during dinner-"what is the one thing you notice right away that is different about this restaurant?"We both immediately said " no one is on their phones!" What a huge testament to how great the experience must have been for everyone.

I always enjoy our dining experience at Mita's. Last Friday we were there for a late dinner and decided to order some tapas and the pozole verde which I had never had. It was superb!!! I just wish I'd had some bread to soak up the last few tastes.

Did not like having to sit at one of the bench/chair in aisle tables. need to remember to choose another location next time. It is not fun for the one with his/her back to the window and in way of the traffic. Wish they had thought that out better.

Also Energetic is not the correct description when the noise level is too loud.
