Overall we would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cincinnati and love Latin Flavors. We were in town for the weekend from NYC and Mitas was highly recommended by our concierge at the Lytle Hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t start the evening on a positive note as the hostess told us that they did not have any tables available for us despite confirming our reservations earlier in the day. She further said the bar is full, so they don’t know where we can wait. It’s absurd to get such a greeting from one of the finer restaurants in the city. We waited ten mins and then questioned further about the table and at that time we were finally seated. No one left in that time but a table became available? Thanks to our server Kane, our evening took a turn for the better. The food was really good and our server was attentive. We would go back to the restaurant but it could’ve been a 5 star experience if the initial interaction were better.
The cheese tray was incredibly underwhelming, so small it would have been little for a single person.
Both food and experience were wonderful. Our server, Cain was fantastic.
Perfect in every way, from the moment we walked in the door the service was impeccable. Delicious food, beautiful setting....a hit
Had an amazing seafood stew with, shrimp, lobster and squid. That was jammed packed with wonderful flavor! Had a assortment of cheese so good I could taste the Basque Country side. Highly recommended.
We love Mitas! Food is so delicious!
Awesome dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Great food and awesome service. Loved the tapas and paella. The desserts were outstanding........ Highly recommend the Empanadas, Pulpo and Paella.
Will definitely go back for food and desserts again!!
Amazing! The food was delicious. We ordered so many plates that it seemed as though it was a constant stream of plates being brought to our table. We didn’t even remember what half of them were or even ordering them. The way the service of the small plates was paced was outstanding. Always empties being whisked away and new plates set down. The desserts were superb, as well. We just loved having small bites of so many different things. If you go, don’t hold back—order a lot. We probably ordered at least 5 plates per person. We were stuffed.
Great food, great service.
We love this place! Friendly staff, awesome food, great service. Always a wonderful time with Chef Salazar!
Outstanding again! This is my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. On this visit my wife and I had the paella, along with some quesos and jamon and a great bottle of Muga wine. I thought the paella was really good, and this is not an easy dish to make.
Wait staff were great! Food was amazing! Loved the winter salad. The lamb shank was amazing as was the quail! Perfect date night!
I find their wine list confusing. It’s all ones that hardly anybody will know what they are. I would like a Pinot noir, there’s none on the menu. Most other restaurants in Cincinnati allow patrons to bring in their own bottle. Redfeather just made this choice Boxa does it Nicola does it. Not Mita.
Wonderful experience and Calvin was an outstanding bartender. Friendly and informative!
The Paella is a must have at Mita’s - order as soon as you order your drinks because it requires 45 minutes.
The server was helpful with the menu and was friendly but not too chatty.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting
Enough options to make everyone happy. Such a great atmosphere and even better food. Red sangria pitcher split between two was the perfect amount of drink.
Best place in Cincinnati, I love it.
Delicious and fun meal for 9! Great service and greta wine list too
Phenomal experience, perfect timing, kind service
Server was knowledgeable, food was exceptional, attention to our table was dropped after our food was served. I had to ask several times to have the table cleared, with five people, it’s a lot of plates etc
The service and food here is always top notch. It never disappoints.
Food was wonderful loved the choices beautiful surroundings only drawback was wait staff was simply not interested they served the food but that was kinda it no suggestions had to ask several questions but this kind of experience would bode well with input from the waiter portions were smaller than we realized he could have said you know with a party of six you might want to try this etc food was spectacular will return
Wanted to show my SoCal kids we have great food here, too! They were very impressed!
The food was outstanding! Our server was perfect! Very comfy atmosphere. Well worth the money.
Amazing wait staff. Ambiance was very thoughtful. Very creative and extremely delicious dishes coming from Chef Salazar. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic. Some of the best food and drink I have had in Cincinnati.
Finally was able to check Mitas off my bucket list, good was great. The 2 servers (1 possibly Mgr) gave side eye, acted very put out by requests & simply had attitude.
Overall great service and food. This was our first time at Mita’s, and it won’t be our last!
Great evening - wonderful food and great service.
We had an excellent time, very romantic ambiance. I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower and jicama mango salad.
Mita’s is always great, COVID measures were appreciated: Temp checks/distancing/masks.
Prompt and attentive service. Such delicous food!
Evrything was perfect.
We love the ambiance and food was as always, delicious.
Don’t pass on the potatoes. Such a simple food elevated in the most wonderful way.
Great tapas restaurant - each dish is uniquely prepared and all selections were top-notch. Very nice cheeses and fun wine list
Great food served tapas style. Service was excellent. Also seems like great value for the food.
Fantastic food with amazing cocktails. Highly recommended.
Very much enjoyed trying some unique cheeses but felt that some tapas were just ok while others were great. The brussel sprouts and pulpo were fantastic, while the empanadas were ok and the batatas bravas were extremely salty to the point we didn't care to eat them. Overall it was a unique place to try.
Food and service were impeccable. Mita’s is my new favorite restaurant. Will definitely be back to try the dishes we missed this time.
Great, fun night. Perfect to experience with friends. Tons of shareable plates and fresh food.
The best ever as always
