Great food and experience as always. The collection of wines is perfect for any taste and pocket.
Kane was an excellent server.
Great Experience! My business guests enjoyed the tapas sharing and that lended to great conversation.
Exceptional food and service. Our favorite dining choice when visiting Cincinnati.
Excellent service and very good food. We had seven different small plates and all were good. Service was outstanding and great ambience too.
A really nicely designed and stylish space; light and open, yet quiet and intimate enough to talk and be heard easily.
The food was excellent - a great selection of vegetarian and fish tapas. The tostados were hot and crispy, as were the patatas bravas. The ceviche was excellent. Everything was well prepared and nicely presented.
However the shining star was the service. Very attentive and very knowledgeable. They gave us great advice on wines and they brought all the food quickly so that it was all hot. The whole staff really worked as a team and took great care of us.
Great experience, thank you.
Fun, interesting menu with plenty of room to experiment and expand one's palate
Absolutely amazing meal, great drinks and impeccable service. Thank you for a great evening.
Mita’s is my favorite! The staff, the food and the ambience. The food is simply outstanding!
Always a different combination of things to order. Keeps it interesting!
Mita's is a special restaurant! We were in town visiting and had read several good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The decor is beautiful w spanish tile, large windows & latin american flair! We tried 4 different dishes and all had bright, fresh flavors. Ceviche and seafood stew were excellent! Our server was friendly & very knowledgeable and made several menu suggestions. The manager also stopped at our table to check on how we liked everything.
We can't wait to return and highly recommend this restaurant!
Very pleased with the food, ambience and service. Can’t wait to return. Especially liked the pitcher of sangria and sharing the food with our friends.
Was really looking forward to celebrating a birthday at Mita’s . We hadn’t been in awhile snd in the past it was always excellent. This time, however, the food was a let down. We ordered 8 plates snd maybe 3 were really good, 4 just okay and 1 something was really off. The off dish was the duck. Although the duck itself was delicious , the mushrooms and I believe broccoli rabe tasted horribly fishy…really off putting. Overall, the meal was disappointing and this was a bit shocking since we’ve lloved it in the past. Everything was super salty too…and I like salt, but very unbalanced. The one great thing, however, was our service. Our server and the additional wait staff were top notch…knowledgeable, friendly, attentive..
Very attentive waiter who was knowledgeable about the menu, but was not intrusive. Place is fancy enough for a date without being too stuffy. It’s summer, so most women were in sundresses or linens pants and nice tops. Men mostly in collared shirts. Quiet enough to hear each other but not so quiet that you could listen in to others around you. Great selection of vegetable plates that a “mostly vegan” couple had no issues.
Casual vibe with excellent food. The “small plates” weren’t small! Especially recommend the Pozole (seafood chowder with a traditional pesto) & a nice Albarino wine. Recommend it’
Everything was top notch - no complaints or anything here. 😊
Amazing experience! Food, staff, drinks-all great! We will be back!
My husband and I have eaten at Mita's many, many times and love the food we've had. This time we tried one or two more dishes we've not had in the past, and enjoyed them very much. There were more diners than have usually been there in the past. Service has always been excellent. (There was a table next to us where six people were dining. One of them talked rather loud and seemed to need the attention of her companions throughout the meal.) We have been seated next to the front window almost every time we've been there before, and I'm spoiled by getting to see people walking by. Mita's and Salazars are two of our favorite local restaurants.
Food was OK - not worth a $100.00 meal for 2 though.
This was our first time at Mita's. We were a table of 8. Everyone loved the food and raved about the overall experience. Highly recommend it.
The food all paired so well together and was absolutely delicious. The staff was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was so well thought out. We will absolutely be making this a date night staple. 10/10!!
Awesome - as always!
Anniversary dinner could not have been better. Staff was attentive and food was delicious.
Food was really good. Service was not good - can’t be blamed on COVID- just an under attentive server with attitude for no reason, try to up sell. Nice ambience and good place for a date or group outing but will not go back.
Great tasting and innovative dishes. Attentive service. Feels upscale but not pretentious!
The waitstaff was attentive but didn’t intrude. Anticipated our needs making the whole evening so relaxing. It was my birthday and at the end the waiter brought out a small cupcake at the end with a candle. Atmosphere was unique m, food was AMAZING.
One of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati to bring a group to. Never disappoints
This restaurant has a great location in downtown Cincinnati, an excellent wine list, and really good tapas. I particularly enjoyed the daily catch ceviche and the cheeseboard.
The food was awesome, and the small plates let everyone try a bunch of different things.
Beautiful ambiance, great selection of drinks, and delicious food. Only thing this place needs is house made hot sauce.
Great food and service. Was easy to talk and the environment was nice.
Great restaurant, great concept, amazing flavors, you can’t never go wrong here, can’t wait to go back, Thanks Salazar for the hospitality.
The food was amazing! It is tapas style so we ordered many dishes to share. I would recommend doing this so make sure you go with friends who like to try things. The spicy margarita was a hit at our table. The service was great and the price point was good. I wouldn't do a group larger than 4 as it will be difficult to hear each other
Everything was excellent from the service to the food being perfectly seasoned! Looking forward to returning !
A delightful evening in a beautiful space! Food was amazing (if you drink the Sangria is great) Our server Daniella was charming. We'll be back.
Went here on a date- had a wonderful time. I'd honestly say the service was the highlight.
We arrived late to our reservation and called to let them know and apologize and they were very understanding and kind about it.
I wish I remembered our servers name, young man, that's all I remember. But he was funny and nice and very attentive. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great suggestions. We ordered many small dishes at once and our server paced them very well, getting everything correct.
The food was INCREDIBLE, full-bodied, well-rounded flavor. Though I couldn't finish my meals because they were just so rich, I ended up taking over half of it home with me. Pork belly appetizer had to be my favorite. Very tender, juicy, but also extremely crispy on the outside. The lime complimented the pork belly very well. I came for the patatas bravas, and they did not disappoint. Loved the smokiness of the potato, was not expecting that.
My date was late in the evening, 9:45 pm, so the restaurant was not busy. It was quiet, which I liked. The interior was also gorgeous. The decor were honestly a highlight for me. It felt sophisticated, elegant, but I also didn't feel out of place as a young person who doesn't go to nicer restaurants often.
I would go again, and actually plan to for those patatas bravas (so good!). I look forward to the food, the service, and seeing the inside again. I just won't order as much this time bc it was all so rich!
Date night while visiting our former city!! Fantastic food, excellent service, beautiful ambience. We particularly enjoyed the fish tacos, the vegetable tacos, the shrimp ceviche, and the chicken skewers. Would definitely recommend! Only one picture because we ate the other things too quickly!
Excellent food quality and wonderful staff. I have never had a bad experience.
