Overall the food was great. A couple of items felt a little too simple for the price point (e.g. elotes salad). I would definitely come back and try more of the menu.
Great food and great service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The only negative was the music was a little too loud.
Visiting from Detroit and staying at the Hilton. Finding good tapas is not easy. Mita's came highly recommended and it lived up to the recommendation. Had the Pulpo and the Tostones y Guacamole. Both delicious. Service staff was impeccable. Good wine selection, reasonably priced.
Fantastic food, treated us to champagne for our anniversary, our server had great recommendations. Everything was timely and delicious, and they let us take our time and enjoy the evening.
Lovely place charming service excellent cocktails and really delicious beautifully crafted small plates
We had a wonderful experience at Mita’s
As always, amazing. Diego was attentive and helpful and just all around fantastic
It took me way too long to get to Mita’s, but it was worth the wait! The service was outstanding, the ambiance was so nice, and each dish we ordered another great experience. Our favorite of the night were the potatoes, made perfectly crisp in smoked paprika oil! Loved the wine, and the house margarita hit the spot! Thank you, Mita’s! See you soon!
I booked a party of 9 & needed to revise to 10. No problem. I also asked for a quiet table so we could talk & was well satisfied with our seating. Food was excellent and pacing of service also just right.
My Arbor Day Foundation guests from out of town for convention enjoyed the evening as much as I did.
Favorite place in town and food was great as always
But pace of meal was rushed compared to other times I’ve been. Courses coming on top of each other way more than usual.
Great food! Excellent meal. Highly recommend the Ensalada de lentejas.
Food was outstanding. Service was great. Dessert choices were out of this world.
My sister called ahead to arrange for us to receive two glasses of champagne with her compliments for our anniversary. Never happened— disappointing that Mita’s dropped the ball on this...she needs a refund!
Server really knew his wines. Delicious food and the pace was perfect.
Wait staff was spot on, cocktails and food was above average to great! Would have liked a little more quantity for overall cost but was pleasantly surprised!
Food is always delicious. Service is excellent. We ordered more than we could eat and our server said he would not turn in part of our order if we did not think we could eat it. We really appreciated that. We still ate a little more than we thought we should have. Next time, hopefully we will remember that.
Great as always!
This is and will continue to be our special celebration restaurant in Cincinnati. They just do everything right.
Amazing tapas, drinks and mains. Not a place for traditional dining, but if you are feeling adventurous this is the place for you! Muy bueno!😛
Mita’s was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was super helpful in pairing the tapas we ordered together so that the meal flowed and was paired perfectly. I will definitely return!
Wonderful menu, really inventive but true to the Spanish tapas tradition; lovely wine list but could use more Spanish selections
Outstanding food and service for our group of 6. To fully enjoy the tapas sharing experience, allow at least 90 minutes for your meal. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, more of a fun rather than intimate experience. Would definitely go back.
The portions are perfect for those wanting to do Tapas and try a variety of tastes and flavors. I have also had bigger plates in the past for meals good as well... smaller plates are the way to go... great place!
Lovely. Service was outstanding and food & cocktails were better than we imagined. Can’t wait to come back.
Incredible food and great service.
Food was good unfortunately the sever continuously sniffled and wiped his nose on the back of his hands. It ruined my appetite. Not sure if I will return.
This was an amazing place to celebrate our anniversary. The server was so kind and friendly. The food was amazing as always. I recommended listening to the daily specials, the squash appetizer we ordered was great. The ambience and view are a great peek into downtown and the restaurants style is Spanish/modern.
This was my first time at Mita's and it FAR exceeded my expectations. The cheese selections and shishitos were a perfect start, especially with some complementary wines. The fresh barracuda in the ceviche was out of this world. Very much looking forward to dining here again.
Waiter did not check on food quality after new dishes arrived to table
Clearing and replacing plates for each course lacking
Waiter removed plate and spilled sauce on table. We had to ask for towel to clean up
Loved the tapas and the service
Excellent setting, food and friendly servers.
We were there on a Friday evening so noise was expected; however, we were seated behind a bench-like partition that gave us some privacy and allowed for a romantic meal. Our server was great, friendly and on top of it. However, I was disappointed that we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation and arriving on time. Nevertheless, it did not ruin our evening or experience. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.
I really enjoyed the restaurant, the service was fantastic, it was an upscale but comforting experience. The food was fantastic and I would love to come back!
This was such a pleasant surprise. The whole menu looked delicious if you’re into Spanish Tapas. I could have ordered 80% of the items and been happy.
Fantastic tapas style food - incredible curation of cheeses and meats, wines and cocktails. Everything was extraordinary! I fell in love with the light-filled ambiance and elegant room. Beautiful all the way around.
Wonderful food and great service. Will definitely be back!
Hands down the best paella I have ever had! The food is spectacular and service was spot on! Thank you, Max (our sever) and Christa (General Manager) and all of the staff for a wonderful evening. Mita’s is a required stop when we are in Cincinnati!
Wonderful, unique gem in Cincinnati. The food is phenomenal.
We were in town from Chicago and had a fantastic meal at Mita's. Every single item we ordered was absolutely delicious. My husband is Puerto Rican and even he said the tostones were perfectly fried. The elotes salad was my favorite. Kobe beef skewers were yummy as were the sliders. Our waiter, Kane, was top notch and bus staff was also wonderful.
Most disappointing was the bar service. My $13 Manhattan was so diluted it tasted watery. Very poor. Another’s marguerita tasted like “it came from a mix.” Another disappointment was the waiter: seemed distracted. Some food very good, other food uninspired (empanada). All 3 decided we would not return.
