Delicious food snd cocktails. Chicken thighs were outstanding
Food started off great, our server forgot two of our dishes and glass of wine. We had to ask for drink orders each time
too. Pork belly and ceviche were good.
What a fun place with delicious food and fantastic service. A true Cincinnati gem!!
The food was amazing. Order the pulpo, it was the tastiest thing I've ever eaten and I will think of it always.
This tapas restaurant has a nice bright open space with several cozy booths. Valet parking. Nice wine list.
We are staying low carb, so we had to modify every dish. Unfortunately the kitchen kept getting our special requests wrong (asked for no crackers with the cheese, got crackers; asked for no lemon in the iced tea, got lemon; asked for creamy avocado dressing on the side of the salad, it came dressed). However, the food we did eat was very good, especially the chicken skewers.
We had a great meal. Highlights include the cauliflower, the ceviche and the bread plate.
Fun energetic downtown spot. Wonderful flavorful food.
Love this place. Always enjoy chatting with Calvin. One of the best bartenders in town.
Food is always amazing as well!! Never anything bad and lots of GF options.
We hadn't been to Mita's in a couple of years, but it all came back to us as we looked at the menu. We started with red sangria and a martini, then went right for the King Salmon Cerviche. The empanadas were great. The sauce was the key. We loved the veggie taquitos and finished with a plate of cured meats along with the three cheese plate. I'm sure I forgot something. It was all wonderful. Jess provided great service and I let her pick the wine pairings by the glass. Her choices were perfect. Her teammate Kane and others filled in as needed. I don't normally give five stars but it was as good as we remembered it. After 15 months of hunkering down, we had an anniversary dinner to remember!
Food is always great and service was fantastic.
Amazing food, outstanding service, great ambience!!!
We had amazing food and great service for our large group of 16!
Mita’s provided both exceptional food and service. Servers were attentive and patient while we decided, and the kitchen/waiter timed the dishes we ordered to fit our pace.
We ordered a variety of dishes from all sections of the menu, and every dish was excellent. It was a hot humid day, so the shrimp ceviche provided a cool, refreshing overture with bright but balanced flavors. The plantain chips and pickled vegetables also provided fresh, light flavors to open, before moving onto the slightly heavier bread and cheese plates. The meal climaxed with hamburger sliders, which were perfectly executed flavor and texture experiences, portioned to avoid overwhelming the rest of the meal. The finale was an outstanding cauliflower dish (my favorite) that leveraged the clean slate that cauliflower provides to interesting and uncommon flavors—in this case black garlic romesco, rhubarb, sukkah, and sherry gastrique. We concluded with the strawberry tart and chocolate pudding, which were both excellent, but the strawberry tart was definitely the favorite.
In summary, all the dishes were outstanding, but the bread plate, roasted cauliflower, and strawberry tart were the clear winners, because they highlighted their ingredients to their fullest potential, and presented interesting, excellent flavor and texture combinations.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our friends!!!!
Wonderful service, lovely ambience, and tasty food!
Took an out of town quest from Austin there the other night - the food and ambiance
is fantastic - as usual - this is one of my go to places in Cincinnati when trying to impress out of town guest.
Cheers to Jose and his staff.
It is always a treat to experience Mita's. The food is outstanding, never a bad meal and the staff is always pleasant and professional. Highly recommend.
Great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend.
Food was ok but service was not as expected. There are not many options in menu for vegetarians
Came to celebrate a retirement with my family. We were treated very nicely and the food was, as always, exceptional.
Service was great, very intimate vibe in the venue. Great date spot work incredible quality of food!
Mita's was incredible! If you love tapas and Spanish culture, this place is a must-do in Cincinnati. The food and drinks were outstanding and so flavorful. The atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully decorated. This is the perfect place for a romantic date night or a fun get-together with friends. We will be back next time we visit Cincinnati!
Mita’s was beyond my expectations!! It was a wonderful experience if you come to Cincy you have GOT to try it. It is tastes you have never experienced. Definitely get the patatas bravas. I just can’t explain it. You just have to go. I will never come here again without going there.
Felt rushed. Not what I had hoped for from a tapas experience
First time dining. Impressed and food was exceptional.
Wonderful experience. Loved the food, and tapas style dining. They were able to accommodate adding an extra seat to the table the day of the reservation. Great service
The food was good , the paella was salty
Great from cheese plate through tapas to wine. Not rushed - which we like.
Best Meal I have had in a while. Very diverse and tasty menu.
Our server was great, attentive but not overbearing like some. She was knowledgeable of the menu and able to give recommendations and her opinion on menu items. My partner and I are both plant based/vegan and the amount of vegetable dishes was nice to see and a nice change from most other restaurants who have one or two vegan friendly dishes; mitas had several. The server also asked our dietary preferences and was able to alter a couple dishes to fit our needs. The food was SO flavorful, we were both pleasantly surprised. Mita’s put in just as much thought, if not more into their vegetable dishes as they did into their others. They also had some unique cocktails that were delicious. Their menu is seasonal so we are excited to go back and see what else they have to offer during different seasons. 5/5.
Jose Salazar's dishes never disappoint. Cane is our personal favorite server. He's very attentive and helps curate an amazing combination of plates every time. We always highly recommend Mita's.
Celebrated with our family of 4 on Saturday night, we love the idea of having small plates where we can share different foods more easily. Our waiter did a fantastic job making sure we didn't order too much and brought items out to our table throughout the experience. Everything we had was fantastic. The only complaint was the prices of the cocktails for the amount you get. I was disappointed when my first cocktail came out in this tiny martini glass that was only filled halfway. We would go back to Mita's in the future but would skip the cocktails.
Excellent Food! Server very friendly
We love to eat here! The plates are shareable, and they’ll course them out. The tostones are a staple, the waygu beef was phenomenal. We even had desert and the goat cheese strawberry vanilla was subtle and not too sweet. Josè Salazaar never disappoints.
Everything was fantastic, service was attentive. Highly recommend the octopus!
Server walked us through the menu and helped us create a wonderful shared meal with many great flavors and textures. Thank you!
So so so so good.
Best sliders I have had in my life. Pisco sour was also very good.
Outstanding as always which is why it's one of our favorites and we return often.
