As Peruvians we know the delicacy of our food. The ceviches, bistec a lo pobre, tacu tacu, muy machito and others exceeded our expectations one more time. Thanks Adolfo for your service.
Good service and good food. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
The food and service were excellent. Loved our server
The food was fresh and excellent. Very interesting and varied menu. I was delighted to see the return of the Amazonian fish paiche. Peruvian cuisine has a strong Japanese influence, and the tiradito nikkei sashimi was top notch. The wait staff are all knowledgeable and attentive. Highest marks.
Amazing food. The flavors were incredible and our server had amazing recommendations. Highly recommend.
We reserve this restaurant for special occasions and really celebrate date night right when we go to Mistura.
The staff is really super helpful and friendly, they will take care of you and make sure you have a great dining experience.
Also, just get two of the ceviche because one is never enough because you just wouldn't want to share. It is THAT GOOD.
Delicious meal! Everyone loved their entree. Caesar salad superb. Friendly, knowledgeable waiter.
Good food, poor service
First time to restaurant and would go back for sure. Restaurant has excellent tapas. We had the mixed seafood ceviche, which was delicious and generous portion for 2 to share as appetizer. My husband had the Senor Lomo, which is tender sliced filet mignon with excellent seasoning and rice. I had the Muy Machito, white fish fillet with mixed shellfish and rice. All the seasoning are new to us and very good. For dessert we had the La flor, and if you love chocolate and performance food art, this is a treat.
We've been customers dating back to when you were at the golf course in Paso Robles and always impressed. However our last visit was less than impressive. 15 dollar 12 ounce bloody Marys are steep and a one small tough octopus tentacle for 30 makes it our last trip. No vegetables with entrees or bread and butter. Good luck.
We enjoyed our lunch at Mistura! The food is delicious and interesting! I highly recommend Mistura!
We were celebrating graduation and tasted nearly everything on the menu. All delicious!
Pleasant surprise , first time here.
Recommended by our SLO graduate ! Not an intimate location , a bit slow on the service but once seated and greeted , all got better. We started with potatos and Caesar salad - too much dressing on the salad , could have been more crisp on the romaine . Moved into the fish screwers, short ribs and lobster ravioli . Pass the ravioli , no distinct flavor of lobster nor any seafood - husband requested this dish , then onto a fabulous surprise of a dessert with a passion fruit tart inside of a chocolate ball - seriously so cool ! Great bar, started with a martini continued with a delicious Malbec.
Not quiet but lively and smart casual attire will work !
Our dinner at Mistura was one of the top 5 meals we've ever had, it was phenomenal. I have Celiac disease, and I had seen reviews that the restaurant was able to cater to diners with allergies. They went above and beyond to explain what was safe and their chef's dedication to serving individuals with allergies. Our waitress was a local college student who thoroughly knew the menu and was able to explain each and every dish to us. I asked her for her suggestions on what to drink and eat, and could not have been happier with my choices (Maracuyá Sour, Muy Machito, and La Flor).
Very good. First time there. Food was amazing
What an amazing meal. When you can’t stop talking about the experience for days and then share with friends, that tells you something. The presentation for every dish was so creative and classy. Service was top notch. And every dish in our party was perfectly delicious. A new favorite for us.
The location, food and service were top notch. We came on a recommendation of a friend from Lima so we knew we were in for a treat. Was I knocked off my feet! I recommend reservations as it can get crowded. If you arrive early you can enjoy the atmosphere and a drink. The food is representative of the beautiful diverse geography and cultures that make up Peru. If you are able try everything. We intended to make our way down the menu and took a pretty good chunk out of it. I do hope you enjoy the meal and experiences as much as we did.
Incredible experience. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend the lamb!
Food was great .
Our waiter was very professional and helped us both make good choices for our specific diets. Service was excellent.
Love this place and the people and everyone else should too! Quality, inventive, tasty! Thank you.
This is our third time at Mistura -- every time has been a great experience! The food was amazing -- and service was great too. Highly recommended.
Food was great, service was beyond awful! Spoke to the GM because our food took over 45 min and he did nothing to remedy the situation. Seriously a cute place but could never go back....
The food was amazing but the service was not. Our server wasn’t helpful with the menu and sh was not attentive at all.
The food was excellent, especially the ceviche and paella.
Me and my guests were nicely surprise with our experience at Mistura. We already knew that the food was good because we had take out from Mistura during the pandemic, but the decoration, the nice cocktails and food presentation seriously had us impressed. The food and how things are presented on the plate really shows a lot of creativity!
If I had one tiny improvement suggestion that I think would make the overall experience perfect is the service. The restaurant host at the podium, who also brought our drinks to the table seemed in a hurry and was a little short with us. We would have appreciated a warmer and more welcoming approach.
The food was out of this world delicious! Service was excellent. Restaurant itself is beautiful with lots of wood and plants and cool artistic touches.
Live love love Mistura! I’ve been many times and am Berger disappointed. The food is always phenomenal and presentation is lovely. Can’t wait to go back again!
The dinner service was outstanding! Servers were the best!
Food was amazing. Managing staff was extremely hospitable & attentive, made our experience 5 stars. Will definitely be back again.
Food was oustanding! It was our first time & just wished we weren’t seated in an off room adjacent to the kitchen! We missed the experience of the main room dining area where it looked a bit more festive!
Mistura was awesome! The space is beautiful, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The menu was extensive with so many interesting and out of the ordinary choices. Can't wait to go back!
Overall, a very good experience. Food was excellent, presentation superb. Scanning a menu a bit weird for us older folks. We were initially told there was no paper menu, but then they became available?????? But the waiter was helpful and had good suggestions on the dishes. Since we were unfamiliar with the Peruvian cuisine, we were delightfully surprised. Would go back again.
Mistura is fantastic and has unique(Peruvian Japanese fusion) food. It is a fine dining experience that can get a little pricey, but is worth it every once in a while. It is one of my favorites in all of San Luis and Santa Barbara County.
Very good service. The food was very pretty. Definitely a date night kind of restaurant.
The selection of Peruvian dishes was exceptional and everything we had was delicious. The ceviche options all sounded amazing and we had a hard time choosing but we were very happy with the chalaco. And the Pio Pio Empanadas were fantastic.
Our meal felt off. My ceviche was unbalanced between acid and chili. My granddaughters lobster ravioli was very good, my carapulcra was very good also after I sent it back to be heated up. Came out barely warm. My wife's ravioli with black truffle was just good. My son in law really liked his muy macho. The desserts were hit and miss. The bollitos were gummy. Overall I assume post covid resumption of inside service is challenging the kitchen getting back up to former very high standard, a problem that is seeming to plague a lot of restaurants. Will try again.
We really enjoyed the food and ambiance at Mistura! The portions are very large and flavorful. The ceviche was delicious. The pisco sours are also original and made well.
Our only downside was that there seemed to be significant confusion between the wait staff and kitchen. The food was brought out staggered causing our table to eat at different times.
Really fresh and delicious plates. Everything we had was wonderful . We need to go back do we can try more of their dishes!
