I've had uniformly good experiences at Duro Hospitality restaurants, including Mister Charles. My last visit to Mister Charles was no exception. My wife and I started with cocktails, The Hugo and a classic vodka martini. Both were perfectly made, and I really liked the martini garnishes on the side so I could select my preference of lemon twist, olives or cocktail onion. We each ordered three canapes (we chose the watermelon, chilled oysters and mini-lobster rolls). All were delicious and great for summer meal. The blue fin crudo was an equally good appetizer, slightly chilled with a nice Thai-passion fruit dressing. Our waiter recommended the truffle scarpinocc pasta (with ricotta, toasted hazelnuts and honey), which made for savory transition from our crudos and appetizer. We finished by splitting the whole dover sole, accompanied by a fantastic bottle of reserve chablis (recommended by our sommelier), which paired well with the lobster beurre blanc sauce. Apart from excellent food and beverages, the restaurant itself is stunning. High vaulted ceilings and gorgeous interior design. And a great playlist as well. I can't say enough about the waitstaff and sommelier. All were highly attentive and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to make certain we had a great experience. I have to say that I was somewhat reluctant to afford such effusive praise in my review because I suspect it may only make it harder for me to get my next reservation. But I have to give credit where credit is due.

We split the beet-Burata salad & the Dover sole meunier & both were stellar. We also really enjoyed the passion fruit dessert. Our server, Jason I think< was excellent & VERY accomodating! An overall great birthday celebration!

Hands down one of the BEST meals of my life! Breathtaking decor and ambience, impeccable service and out of this world food! Was recommended by a local while we were visiting from out of town and would return to Dallas again just for another visit here! 15/10!!!!!

We went early and were able to sit at the bar. We were greeted by 3 lovely hostesses who were all very nice and welcoming! Our bartender was Danny and he was great! All of the food was delicious! We had some appetizers (the grilled cheese and beef on a baguette). Then we had the little gem Caesar which was delicious. We shared the arriabatta pasta as well as the filet. So yummy!!
