   The view is lovely, that's the one selling point to MIST. The server asked us what we wanted to drink so we asked for a drink list/menu...the server said, sorry we don't have one. So then I had to ask what beers they had on tap and what wines they had by the glass. The server's response was flustered and spotty. We ended up having a few snacks which were overpriced. The "calamari" appetizer was $15 and ended up being 7 small pieces that were over-breaded and overcooked. It wasn't busy at all but we had to bring our card to the server so that we could pay the bill and get out of there to get decent food elsewhere. It's a bummer that they're cashing in on the view and not giving any attention to the other areas of the restaurant experience.

   Terrible service.....terrible food....WAY overpriced. This place has gone downhill. We tried to explain the problems with the food and the server simply ignored us. We won't be back.

   I ordered the prime rib ($33) & my partner ordered the ribeye ($38) & a regular bloody Mary (for her) plus a whiskey sour rimmed with salt + 2 cherries. Her ribeye was perfect while even though she occasionally gets the spicy bloody Mary her choice not to & she ended up with a spicy one anyways, (not a huge issue) then my drink came with no salt (still do-able) but when my $33 prime rib comes over cooked served with an order of unwanted (let alone unappealing) fat over taking the meat I said nope & I just gave back my entire plate, & drank my dink & went without this....

   Our order for two took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did it was wrong. It took forever before order was corrected, at which point the other parties meal had been long finished. Price was high for the food we got. The only redeeming factor, the Chowder was very good.

   The location was within walking distance of our hotel which made it very convenient. There was quite a variety on the menu plus a decent wine list. And the desserts we had, the marionberry crumble and the bread pudding, both made onsite, were outstanding!

   We had a very nice time for dinner at Mist. The staff's willingness to please was impressive!

   We made a reservation and requested window table. Arrived and were told none available; seated somewhere else. A few minutes later a window table emptied and someone came to put a "reserved" sign on it. That table sat empty for the rest of the evening. I suspect it was our reservation and have no idea why she didn't have us wait in the bar for 10 minutes.
